Mike Oxmaul

Isabella's POV

I hated being in a car with Hobbs and Owen. The tension between them was palpable, and I could feel it in every glance they exchangedโ€”full of hate and annoyance. Luckily, I was near my husband, and Hattie was sitting across from me, giving me looks that screamed annoyance. Lord, I didn't have time for thisโ€”neither her nor Mia.

During the car ride, nobody spoke, and I was grateful for the silence. I could feel Deckard's eyes on me. Being pregnant made me tired all the time, and I had to eat constantly. As much as I couldn't wait to meet our boys, I was starting to feel over being pregnant. Decks seemed to sense I was off, though. He kissed my cheek and held my hand, giving me that reassuring smile.

"I'm tired, Deck" I said quietly.

"I know, babe," he replied softly, squeezing my hand. "I know."

We all walked into the airport, and Deck quickly made two fake IDsโ€”one for me and one for Owen. Of course, they worked. With his tech skills and mine, it was practically a guarantee. God, my husband was so hot.

Once we were through security, we waited for Deck and Hattie. I greeted Deck with the biggest kiss on his lips and said, "Babe, you're so sexy when you follow my mind."

Deck laughed and kissed me back, then kissed my belly.

Suddenly, I heard someone shout, "It's Mike! It's my cocksmall!"

Hobbs immediately responded, "It's not small, I go by Mike." Owen and I had to hold in our laughter, but Hattie looked furious, and Deckard was grinning with pride.

We went through the rest of the airport routine, but honestly, it was just boring. I sat next to my sexy husband and said, "She's giving you the evil look."

Deck groaned and said, "I know, love."

I raised an eyebrow. "Deck, are you okay? You haven't said a word about Brixton."

Deck looked at me, his expression serious. "I can't dump that on you, Isa. You're pregnant, you're dealing with so much already. I can't add that to your plate."

I took his hand and squeezed it. "I know, but I'm your wife. I want to hear it."

Deck took a deep breath. "Brixton and I were like brothers. For me to kill him, it hurt. It felt like I was killing someone I would've wanted on my side. But the pain of it... I had to do it to survive. After everything that Eteon did to me, I had to stay away for my own family. But without that, I wouldn't have you. I love you so much."

I met his gaze and said, "Deck, life isn't fair sometimes, but what you did, you did to survive. I love that about you. And I love you."

Deck kissed me softly. "I love you, Isabella Shaw."

I smiled and kissed him back. "I love you, Deckard Shaw."

We were completely unaware that two people were watching us.

Owen's POV

I smiled as I watched Deck and Isa. I remembered when they first got married, and now they were starting a family. But I noticed Hattie looking at Isa with this intense, judgmental gaze, and I couldn't take it anymore.

"Hattie, stop it," I said firmly.

Hattie blinked in surprise. "What? I'm not doing anything."

"Yes, you are," I shot back. "You're looking at Isa like she's hiding something because you want to find a reason not to like her."

Hattie took a deep breath. "I don't dislike her. I just think she's hiding something."

I leaned forward and stared at her. "She isn't. Isa stood by me and Deck after her own brother and his family threw me out of a plane. And I did a lot of damage to them, Hattie. You've disliked every girlfriend Decks has had, but this one isn't going away. Isa's married into this family. She's carrying two Shaws, so if you want Deck and my help, stop acting like a five-year-old. You're the one who cut us off, not us. You have no idea what hell we've been through."

Hattie looked at me, stunned. "Owen, I..."

I stood up, cutting her off. "Just think about it, Hattie. We'll always support you, but I won't stand with you on this."

I walked away to grab us a drink, then returned to find us boarding the flight. Isa sat next to Deck, and Deck had already gotten two pillows for her because her back was in pain from carrying twins. I sat next to Isa and Hattie, hoping there wouldn't be more conflict. The most important thing now was saving Hattie and keeping Isa safe.

I saw Isa fall asleep after a while. Deckard had made sure she was comfortable and taken care of. The nice airline staff had already served her food. Hobbs came down the aisle and greeted everyone, saying, "Hi, I'm Mike." When he got to us, I could see the irritation in both Deck's and my expressions.

"Oh yeah, let's see. Where's my seat? F-one, F-two, F-you," I muttered under my breath, then turned to Hattie. Deckard's irritation was almost funny, but we were both trying hard not to show it.

Hobbs looked at us and said, "You're an asshole."

Deck shot back, "You're quicker than I thought."

Hobbs smirked. "Yup, because I have a secret weapon. People actually like me."

Deckard looked so pissed that I almost couldn't help but laugh.

I groaned. This was going to be a long flight.

Author's Note:

Sorry it's been a while since I updated! I'm fully coming back to Fast and Furious stories. What do you think of me adding Owen into the mix? Personally, I think he should be in the movies more, and we need to see more of Hattie and Owen together. Also, what do you think of the baby Shaws' names?
