The following morning, you awake only to find yourself in the bedroom still that Bowser let you sleep in for the rest of the night. You stretched your chubby arms and crawled out of bed to adjust your nightgown. 

*KNOCK* *KNOCK*

"Come in." You said as the door unlocked, which was one of Bower's little Koopalings. "Oh, hello there, um..." You didn't know all the little ones' names. 

"I'm Larry! King Dada requested me to offer you this to wear while you head down for breakfast." Larry said that as he set the dress on the bed, he turned his heel around to leave, shutting the door behind him. 

You analyze the clothing that Bowser was having you wear for breakfast. It wasn't a dress but comfy clothing to relax and roam around the kingdom. You began to strip out of the nightgown and change into the outfit you wore for breakfast. 

The door opened as a Koopa guard awaited you, "Follow me, princess." He turned his heel with a stiffened body and walked forward down the staircase. 

You followed behind him nervously, with your hands twiddling inside your pocket. You didn't know how breakfast was going to turn out to be for you. The guard made his way down the long hallway, and you kept your pace with him not to lose track as he stopped at the large double doors. 

"The king awaits you." Said the Koopa. 

The double doors were ajar, and you stood there feeling your heart escalate as something was thrown outside the hallway. You gasped. Dodging it to prevent it from hitting you, another dish came as you ducked quickly. A lot of commotion was going were many rucks in the dining room, and your eyes bulged to see the Koopalings throwing food around or eating sloppily with no manners at all at the table. One had food in their hair and shell, and some food was scattered on the table and floor. 

"GAH! Lemmy!" Shouted the Koopa with the pink shades over his eyes. He tossed the food at his brother, but Lemmy held a plate to prevent it from hitting him. He laughed. 

'What a mess these kids are making. I wonder how Bowser handles this?' You thought, standing there awkwardly, but made your way over to the table. 

You sat across from the long table with enough seats for everyone. Larry was the first to notice your arrival as he gasped to say, "It's the Prin-BWUFF!" He was cut off with a dish of food slamming into his face. 

"Oh, the princess finally woke up from her beauty rest to join us for breakfast." Said a Koopa with a large star wearing a cunning grin on their face. 

"Well, don't ruin her day after what happened last night. King Dada will not be happy." Said the wild blue-hair-toothy Koopa, who plopped into his seat. 

The double doors opened, and it was the king of Koopa himself. He made his way over to the table as the Koopalings took their seats to eat silently at the table. Bowser sat in his seat, and the children, including you, sat there silently. 

"Good morning, Koopalings and Princess Y/N." He greeted them with a warm, cheerful mood. 

"Good morning, papa! King Papa!" Said the Koopalings.

"Morning, everyone." You faintly greeted. 

"Any plans for today?" Bowser asked. 

"I'm going to play football! Magic! My favorite toys! My drum!" All at once the Koopalings replied, telling their day to the Koopa King. 

"What about the princess?"Iggy asked. 

All eyes turned to you, and you took your tea to take a sip from the glass. 

"I-I don't know what there is for me around here." You replied, resting your hands on your lap and staring at everyone at the table. 

"Well, we can show you around the castle if King Dad is alright," Morton said, looking at his dad, waiting for his decision for you. 

"Yeah, even though we got the wrong princess. She can explore around with us in case she doesn't get lost." Lemmy said. 

"Good idea," Iggy said. 

Bowser was listening to his children's idea of having you explore the castle with them. Though, part of him didn't know if you planned on escaping.

"We should let her get to know her way around the kingdom. I'll need someone to show her around." Said Bowser, as their hands raised in the air waving around, wanting to do it. "Alright! Roy, Junior, and the twins can do it."

"Yes!" Bowser Jr. chimed. 

"You're gonna have to keep up with us if you're going to know your way around this place." Said Roy, stuffing his mouth full of food.

Breakfast ended, and you would be toured around the kingdom with the Koopalings picked for the job. 

"So, this part of the castle is where we have many things we like to do." Said Lenny as he looked up at you, explaining part of the castle, much bigger than Peaches. 

"Yeah! We have a football room, library, tennis court, basketball room, video game, band room, and we even have our dessert room." Said Junior boasted with his eyes twinkling full of excitement. 

"That's a lot of rooms. I might get lost in one of them." You said with a small chuckle.

"You'll learn your way around this place eventually, and you can visit us in our rooms!" Iggy beamed.

"I'll see when I have the time to get used to my surroundings." You smiled down at the little koopaling. 

"Well, what do you want to do first, Y/N?" Junior asked. 

"Hm, so many options...I don't know where to start." You shrugged your shoulders as the twins looked at each other. 

"We can play a game of football! Roy can teach you to play." Said Iggy.

"I never agree to teach anyone to play." Roy protested. 

"C'mon Roy, you know how to play better than we can. Even when you're a pushover." Junior mumbled the last part under his breath.

Roy clicked his tongue and looked at you as he adjusted his shades.

"Well? Are you up for it or not?" He asked. 

"I don't mind at all. Teach me your ways, coach." You said, smiling at the koopaling as he grinned. 

"You're going to like it! We'll try to go easy on you if you can keep up." Said Iggy. "Roy knows a lot of techniques on how to play the game." He let out a snort.

"Yeah! Like when Roy was playing football and he--" the growling pink Koopa cut off Lenny with the red shade glasses. 

Roy knocked on the twin's heads, glaring at them, saying, "We don't talk about it." You giggled at the kids as the twins held their heads, rubbing their bumps. 

"Let's go!" Junior beamed.

Roy taught you to play football and court back on the field, tackle, and grab it before aiming it at the goal. The twins were a little tricky to get past and to snatch it from them, and Junior tagged the team with you to get it to the destination. Afterward, it was a draw which meant you all won. 

"That was fun! We should do that again." Said Lenny.

"Your good at this," Junior said, with a smile on his face. 

Roy twirled the football on his claws, grinning ear to ear as he said, "Not bad for a noobie. You'll be on your feet quickly with more practice." 

Soon the large doors opened, revealing the other little koopalings in a group.

"Alright, you guys had your turn, and now it's ours." Said the little koopaling wearing jewelry and a big pink bow on her head. 

"Wait just a minute. We're not done with her after finishing our game." Iggy remarked, looking at his siblings with a frown on his face.

"Well, games over, and it's our turn to spend time with Y/N. Dad says we can spend time with her after you have your little fun." Said the wild blue hair koopaling with his toothy fang hanging out. 

"Wait your turn! We're not--" Roy shouted. 

You held up your hand to stop him and said, "Thank you, but I think it would be reasonable if we all took turns having me around the castle. I'm not an object to be fighting over. Let's all be patient; maybe I can spend quality time with each of you. Does that sound good?" You said, shoving your hands in your pockets and looking at the little koopalings in the room as they thought about it for a minute. 

"Yeah, that does sound a bit better." Said the koopaling with a large star on his face. 

"Your right. We shouldn't be fighting over you, Y/N." Said another koopaling in the small group looking over at you with an apologetic look and the others. 

"It's alright. Maybe I can spend some time with you and other sports later." You replied, turning to the group you were with as they smiled at you with a short nod.

"Yeah, sounds good!" Lenny beamed. 

"Yeah! You'll get to stay with us forever!" Said Iggy.

"Yes, but I..." You held up the little Koopa staring into their blue eyes sadly. "...I can't be here. I have a family even though...oh..." You let out a sigh setting Lungwing down on the ground. 

The kids looked at each other, wondering why you were so down after all the fun. Maybe you felt a little homesick for the trouble they've caused. 

"It's alright, Y/N. You can always visit them, and I'm sure Dad isn't going to hoard you here forever." Said Junior as he tried to reassure you that things would be fine sometime after Peach's return.
