Stella, her husband, their kids and her best friend finally came home. Stella missed her little home. But, Azriel and Rhysand were finally home. The twins were quiet babies. The only time they cried was then they were hungry. Stella was the obsessed mother. The one who was constantly checking on them, Stefan wasn't surprised. She had done the same thing with Hope. Even now that the girl was almost two. Baby Hope was walking and talking and Stella couldn't be more proud.

There were times where Derek would catch her taking pictures of Hope or encouraging her to talk and even singing so the girl could learn her abc's. Stefan had been on vacation for a month and half. But, sadly he had to go back to work. Stella was sad and pouty all day, since Derek had also gone back to work. So, Stella had become a full time mom but she was actually enjoying it.

That night Stefan came home with a worried look. He sat down and he stared into the wall for roughly twenty minutes. That's when Stella got worried. "Stefan? What's wrong?" the vampire grabbed her hand and held it tight, but not tight enough to hurt her. "Damon and Bonnie are gone" he replied calmly. "What do you mean gone?" she asked. "There was another threat in the town. Bonnie and Damon had a plan to fix everything. They eliminated the threat and even brought back some people who we had lost in the past. But, Damon and Bonnie, they didn't make it" he explained. He hugged her, finding the comfort he needed at that moment. She embraced him and held on to him, not wanting to let go.

"Perhaps, I can try and find something" she offered. The vampire smiled at her. "I know. But, you need to rest. And we'll find a way to bring Damon back" he told and she nodded. Stefan would do everything to get his brother back and if he couldn't, he would at least know that he did everything in his power to find Damon. The family sat down and had dinner when Derek began to talk about someone he had met. A girl he liked, and Stella couldn't stop giggling and asking questions, making Derek regret even telling her. But, he knew he would tell her sooner rather than later because well, he wasn't the most romantic person and definitely not smart enough when it came to women. And Stella knew how to win a woman's heart, Derek was truly grateful for her when he was dating. With her advise he got plenty of dates. Derek had gone to bed. Hope was peacefully sleeping in her room. Stefan and Stella were putting the twins to sleep. They had barely gotten them to sleep.

The family of six was happy, they were going through a rough moment due to Damon's misfortune. But, they were trying to find a way. "I mean, I've looked everywhere and I have nothing" Stella said as she closed another grimoire. "I've gone over at least fifty of those. I've looked through every element for a way to see if I could find a way to find Damon and Bonnie. But I have nothing. Not even a single lead" she muttered the last part. Stefan watched her with an amused look. Before he could speak there was a knock on the door. Stella opened the door and she came face to face with Elena, Matt, Caroline, Enzo and Jeremy. Elena tried to walk in but she couldn't since she hadn't been invited in.

"Can I help you?" Stella asked. She was annoyed that Elena tried to walk in without an invitation. "Let us in" she ordered. The vampires, the hunter and the human rolled their eyes. "No. Now what do you want?" she asked once again. "I want to talk to Stefan. He's been ignoring my calls" the doppelgänger rudely replied. "Maybe you should take a hint" the elemental retorted making the British vampire laugh. Stefan walked over to them with Azriel in his arms. "What are you doing here?" he asked. "Whoa! Hold on. Who is that?" Elena asked as he pointed at the baby. "Azriel, my son" he replied. Caroline squealed in excitement, making the vampires cover their ears. "You guys had another baby and didn't tell me?!" she asked excitedly. "Twins actually. Azriel and Rhysand" Stella replied as Derek walked in with Ethan. "Oh, and they're married" Derek said as he passed through the hall.

Caroline was jumping in excitement. She liked Stella and she knew she made Stefan happy. "Caroline, Matt, Jeremy and Enzo come in" the two vampires, the human and the hunter walk in. Caroline took Azriel from Stefan and walked into the living room. "What about me?" Elena asked. "I don't like you and I don't trust, especially around my kids. So, we're gonna tell you what we know. We have found Damon, but we're still looking. But, we've found a way to get Mystic Falls back" she spoke. "Why are you helping me?" Elena asked and Stella laughed. "Aw, sweetie. I'm not helping your nor doing this for you. I'm doing this for Stefan. Because he wants to get his brother back" Stella replied. "Oh, when we have something, we'll call you. Goodbye!" Stella said before closing the door on Elena's face.

As they walked back into the living room they stopped as they saw everyone smiling. Perhaps Damon wasn't there with Stefan but Stefan felt free. And that didn't mean he didn't worry nor care about Damon, because he did. But now, Stefan had a new mission, to protect his children and wife from any threat. He knew that if this whole thing about looking for Damon put his wife or family in danger he would put a stop to it. He had sacrificed a lot for Damon. For the redemption he never wanted but got anyways. Stefan has his own redemption and happiness. Stella Salvatore and their three beautiful children.
