Half a day left.

Ae-ri exited the old warehouse. Her pupils were wide, a dark void consuming the light around her as her heart pounded in her chest, the aftermath of the battle still heavy in the air.

Her gaze flickered with a sharp, hungry edge, as if the victory hadn't satisfied her thirst, but only amplified it. The dilation wasn't just a physical response-it was an expression of the dark satisfaction stirring within her, the adrenaline and ruthless intent still coursing through her veins.

She wasn't just alive; she was alive with purpose, her eyes betraying a cold, single-minded resolve. The opponent's defeat was a stepping stone, but the hunger behind her gaze was far from quenched.

Her body was still full of strength, her goals hadn't been reached, so she couldn't stop. But her mind seemed to be up in the clouds, her body moving on its own. She didn't have the Yamazaki bloodline or the reverse eyes at all, not the effects of it either.

It was the pure loathing of yourself it caused such indescribable rage. It wasn't a fall into the abyss of hysteria or finding a Buddha to teach you boxing. It was completely different.

It truly was exactly as it sounded. Silent Fury; that was it. It only happens when pushed to such emotional stress, the product of internal conflict. Her growing addiction to violence mixed with her fierce love and desperation to save her brother. It is not a mode she activates willingly, but one that she enters involuntarily when pushed into the most desperate or intense situations. How scary.

"How scary." The sound of a motorbike's engine at the entrance of the building almost pulled Ae-ri down from the clouds, but she couldn't think straight. "I didn't think you had gotten so..." The pink-head male froze, his vision focusing as he analysed the situation.

She had even beaten Goo. But perhaps he didn't fight at his full strength against her. "Ae-ri. It seems I underestimated you." The pink-head spoke, turning his head back to her who had already jumped at him, a fist flying to his cheek.

Her vision was blurry, as if its vignette had been set to the max. Tunnel vision. Not only was her vision less convenient, she truly was a handful to deal with now. Only fueled by her sheer determination for whatever her goal was, focusing directly on the target with no sense of allies or foes, no longer fighting in the traditional sense.

Even Gun could tell between allies and foes. She's completely lost it. Jihoon dodged her damaging attacks, even finding it a little difficult at times just to block her hits. But he noticed it, the longer she was moving in combat, the more power she generated, with each strike being faster and harder than the last. Her speed increased significantly, and with it, her impact power is magnified.

But they were less controlled, her once efficient and quick fighting style now focused on its impact rather than its efficiency. And her flexibility wasn't helping. Getting up at eight everyday just to stretch had paid off. Danger. A sense of taking precautions and wanting to run was increasing.

But DG wouldn't run now. Sure, sometimes he does... Or most of the time, but he's pretty mindful. His strikes grazed her, but it didn't faze her. Driven by the sole rush of power, forced to continue and ignoring any minor cuts or bruises. Her face was straight the whole time, pupils shaking in fact.

While in this mode, she feels an intense surge of adrenaline, causing her to be hyper-focused on the fight, but it also makes her emotionally detached. She no longer feels the guilt of hurting others, nor does she feel the pleasure of the violence.
She wouldn't even be able to stop herself from such rage in front of Minseong.

It's a cold, internalized rage that silences her emotions. She could not even speak during this, fighting with pure instincts. DG groaned. Despite his multiple attacks, it seems she wasn't truly taking it, blocking every time or avoiding it. Even if she did take its impact, she would just regain her composure and attack again.

She was defying everything. Her speed, power and gender defied all those beliefs. To say girls were biologically weaker was true, but in this case... It seemed almost surreal.
(Manhwa logic only)

"Things are getting dangerous..." Jihoon muttered, not giving her a chance to attack and trying to corner her. But with one swift step, he was cornered instead, quickly jumping up and grabbing onto the warehouses railing to avoid her severe blow.

He glanced around, wondering when they even moved from the exit of the warehouse to back in. He watched as she moved to Goo, paused, then ran off. DG clicked his tongue, quickly phoning the chairman.

"DG?" Charles voice rang out. "Chairman. She ran off." He heard Charles static annoyance, tired of playing mouse and cat. "That's alright. Gun went too." Charles tried to sound reassuring, inhaling deeply and fixing his composure.

DG was silent for a brief moment, pursing his lips. "Alright. I'll go find her too." DG glanced at Goo who was getting up, regaining consciousness as he groaned. "Yeah. Her end is pretty near now." He hopped onto his motorbike, a loud rev as he swooped left and turned to the forest, where she had run.

Ae-ri's movements were like a blur, swift and hurtful. She had fought so fluidly, using her agility to dodge and weave while delivering rapid, devastating strikes. It made Goo and DG shudder to think about that. If anything, they wouldn't want to fight her again.

But she had a big weakness in this state. This "Silent Fury" mode is both a boon and a curse, empowering her in combat but damaging her mentally and physically over time. It embodies the complex nature of her character-a fighter who fights for love but risks losing herself in the process.

It was starting to rain, Ae-ri still lost in her rage as she walked along the cliffs and rocks, a waterfall deep down just below. The rain was mixing in with the large stream of water, slowly but surely pulling her back to her senses.

The bushes were starting to shake and rustle, perhaps the ground rumbling too. She turned around, raising her arms in a guarding position as Manger Kim flew at her, his strikes precise and agile.

CQC. He didn't think he would use it on her, let alone ever hitting a female. But she was more of a hellspawn right now. His CQC did faze her, her eyes blinking but pupils still shaking as she sent back multiple attacks to him, sharp strings tearing into her skin with every move.

"You remind me of someone I know..." Manager Kim muttered through gritted teeth, kicking her stomach and sending her back as she skidded against the dirt ground, the dirt changing into mud from the rain. "You see, kid. That friend of mine... Was just like you in his taekwondo uniform."

Manager Kim continued to speak, casually fighting with her at the same time. But she wasn't really in his prime anymore. Perhaps he was getting old and senile. "Except he had mastered this state, even though he himself was unaware of it." He continued, avoiding her attacks and fighting back whenever he was on the losing end.

"His was caused by some traumatic memories... I wonder what causes yours?" Manager Kim turned swiftly, smacking the back of her neck, somewhere around her nape as her eyes seemed to roll back as she fell unconscious.

Manager Kim fixed his tie. " I'll get going now. Let me call the boss..." He walked away, a few steps away from exiting the forest. Then, thunder striked, a loud bang in his ears as he halted in his steps.

It was so fast. The bang wasn't truly from the thunder, it was from Ae-ri. The rain grew heavier as he glanced and saw Ae-ri on the ground, though he had caught a very small slight of her lounging at him.

But he brushed it off, calling Tom to inform him of the situation.
