"Where are you taking us??" Margo asked. 

I sent a couple friends to get the girls. They'll be at my house soon enough. Then I will call Gru and Lucy, see what they do.

"Shut up." Mr. Ass said. 

"Please don't hurt us." Agnus cried hugging her unicorn.  

"Shut it." Mr. Ass said again. 

"Wow, baby you really know how to make people suffer." Voxy said sipping his cocktail. 

We we're waiting for them at my house. Voxy lay in bed. I stood, shirtless, waiting. 

"Val... I want to ask you about your bruises." Voxy said.

I look down. My body had bruises. It's an old scar, I guess. I haven't paid much attention to them in years. They didn't even bother me, until Voxy brought it up. 

"It's just... I've always wondered why you got them after Wild Knuckles went off the grid. It's been bothering me for years." Voxy said. 

"Do my bruises disgust you?" I ask. 

"What? No! It's just..." Voxy sighed. 

I let out a breath of smoke. I guess I should tell him what I did a few years ago. What I enjoyed doing. 

"Do you remember that day Wild Knuckles brought me the zodiac?" I ask. 

"Yeah..."

"He didn't hand it over willingly. Said something about the kid, Gru."

"Go on." 

"He kept going on about bs. He kept saying how he didn't want to lose the kid. I didn't care for it. Then, I took out my gun."

"You were gonna kill him? Nice baby." 

"He didn't go down without a fight. Hit me good. Roughed me up. Then, I finally put a bullet in his head."

I let out a breath. Voxy walked over. He wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I won't let anyone hurt you again." Voxy said.
