My hands ran down his thigh studying every curve and the red flush of flawless skin that tinted his cheeks. A guilty sense of pleasure violated my senses the sight of him flustered as he struggled to take a sip of the champagne glass delicately held in one hand. His toes curled against the fur carpet under the table and his body jolted with small delightful shivers as my fingers inched dangerously close to the sweet spot between his legs. This was torture . . . for him at least.
A gorgeous sight indeed. The bunny uniform was a perfect fit for his frame, black vest and pants; matched with a white semi-long sleeve under; in addition to an apron strapped around his waist, it was certainly pleasing to the eyes. The cafe was already closed with only us both settled comfortably in one of the dark booths. All was silent but his shivering moans made me want to tease him further and traced my index over his zipper while holding eye contact. It was quite enticing. "You are my good bunny now, no need to be so shy," I whispered the words, lips pressed against the frame of his ear. "No one will ever hurt you again with me here."

Crawling into his lap and locking my legs around his waist, I stared into the night sky in the endless abyss of his eyes. Those little tears swelled up in the corner of his eyes, like two flooded ponds; and seemed to beg for release as I cupped his flushed cheeks in the palms of my hands, caressing the crystal liquid away with a stroke of my thumb. "You're mine now."

Day 18/²
4:⁰⁰ pm

" Miss, do you have a reservation?" the lady at the small wooden counter smiled politely, trying hard to push back the exhaustion of her long shift.

" Yup, it is under the name Janet Wolfstone," she nodded hastily and began typing something on the tablet in her hand before her expression brightened.

"Ah yes, the VIP room rented for this night, a reservation for two," she walked over to one of the doors at the end of the lobby with me following in toe. "Would you like any drinks as you wait ma'am? We have a new signature drink, Explosive Mint. I assure you it has had a lot of good reviews."

I did not spare her a glance and took a quick glimpse at the menu, before setting it down and placing one hand on the soft red fabric of the table, "Just get me a glass of rosemary tea. Make that two sugar cubes."

Her footsteps shuffled away, followed by the gentle closing of the door, leaving me to my solitude. The room was filled with wooden furniture of a deep oak color, mostly shelves and stands adorned with books of unheard titles and vases of Chinese-themed bonsai trees. I fumbled with the glittered collar of my plain white dress as I waited, but the day drained my patience, starting with my ass of a boss and cheating ex. I should have ordered something sweeter . . . Alas I had to ignore these irrelevant things. I had to focus. My revenge would be my prosperity in creating something for myself. My independence. Freedom though is but an illusion. The society functions as a system . . . a corrupt one, hungry for power. Avoid the red flags, be sly, and be smart all shall work in your favor. . . But it does not.

The door clicked, snapping me out of my thoughts. My nails had already grabbed a fistful of the cloth subconsciously in my moment of rage. "Well, don't you look like a walking storm!" Janet walked in a bottle of red wine in hand and dressed humbly in a black suit and badass black heels to match. "Now spill it all out what went down today? You look ready to snap someone's neck off!"

"Don't push it," she flinched at my words but sank into her chair across mine without sprouting any more nonsense. " I want to start a restaurant . . . But I'm a bit low on cash to buy this place I found in Windblum Street."

"So . . . Want me as a partner?" Janet cooed as she poured the wine into the glass cups.

"Of course not, those only ever end in chaos," I scoffed, taking the outstretched wine glass offered to me. " . . . I just trust you more than those blood-sucking banks of the Lawrence family . . . especially with that bitch being the daughter of the heir."

"Aww, so my perks of being the middle school best friend?" She tried to hold back her happiness, but her smile spoke for itself. " Hey maybe you should stop by the office sometime, there is this hot guy who got transferred from Sumeru a few days ago!"

I shook my head and simply pulled out a contract, "Men are currently not my priority, but hear me out. Your money is going to count as an investment and later on, Imma send you dividends, 40%, based on the profit of the first month. . .How does that sound? You can take your time and read through it."

"Ehe, no, I trust you enough . . . It's because of you I even got this far with my own company, even though it isn't the biggest," She spaced out for a second, recalling the past, before taking a look around. "No point sulking over the past! Let's eat and you my friend need a feast!"

I could only sigh as she went out to call over the waiter to come and take our orders. There was no point in ruining her mood and therefore I could only laugh as I stared between my hot cup of tea and the wine glass. "There is a lot of work to get to. . ." the words left me like a ghost's whisper.

"I heard that!" Janet flicked my forehead over the table. "Listen you just need to relax for the night! Chill, give yourself a breather, I send the cash to your account tomorrow and send you a copy of the signed contract . . . And then you can show me your sweet place, no? "

"You sound deeply interested suddenly," I chuckled and clicked our glasses together.

"Hey, I just got a good idea of whom you should hire don't take it the wrong way, I'm not going to reck your business you big baby," just before the conversation could carry on any further the waiter walked in, however, it wasn't the lady from the counter and took our orders. Hands pushing forth a trolly stacked with our dishes and sides sauces and appetizers. . . and he was jacked. Ginger hair was pulled back neatly with gel, the first two buttons of his simple yet formal red T-shirt exposing his collarbones and showing off the beginning of a large scar in his chest area, and his arms ripped from working out . . .the small scares on the back of his hand did not help at making him look more pleasing to the eyes.

"Ma'am is everything okay?" his question made me realize I may have stared for too long, but he seemed unfazed at all and simply smiled as he laid out our dishes on the table. "If you need anything ladies I'll be in the lobby."

Janet glanced at me with a knowing smirk before turning to the guy as he was about to open the door and leave, " Hold up there for a second."

She gave me a wink and pointed secretly teasing at the guy's ass while sipping her wine," That's the first person you've got to hire."

The ginger now turned to us completely and looked forth and back at me and Janet in confusion. "What are you doing? I'm not opening a strip club!" I hissed at my dumbass of a friend, but she just waved me off and crossed one leg on top of the other.

"Say, ginger boy, are you interested in working for a place with better payment and insurance?" the guy's eyebrows arched in curiosity at Janet's question, soon to be followed by a slight smirk, before he managed to recompose himself and smile politely. . . talk about two-faced.

He walked forward to our table and glanced down at me as if testing my silent presence. "I assume you meant getting hired by this little miss here?" his voice was teasing, almost mocking, and that good-for-nothing glint in his eyes did not reassure me at all.

"He seems like trouble if you ask me," I looked at him up and down, and fuck he was hot as hell, but his attitude was poking my nerves. " He is like a fox."

"My lady you're so cruel," he faked a small pout, but slipped a folded piece of paper and placed it on the table, before taking his leave in a rush.

A moment of silence settled with only the sound of Janet's utilities clicking on the as she melted at the flavor of her steak smothered with thick garlic sauce. "What the hell was that? " I asked dumbfounded as I glared at the guy's number written on the paper with a winking emoji next to it." I'm beginning to suspect that he is 'just ' a waiter . . . Who draws a wink emoji on a paper slip with their phone number on it. Is this a prostitute thingy?"

A silence settled for a few moments with Janet's smile widening. " Wouldn't your virgin ass like to know? If anything he looked exactly like your type."

The ringing of my phone switched my attention. Thanking the gods for giving me a distraction, I pulled out the cellular device from my pocket only to feel my mood go sour. "Son of a bitch," I cursed and turned my phone over to Janet. "Look who it is."

" How about building a charismatic staff to flex off?" Janet had that expression on again, wicked and devious, plotting a lovely drama to take place. "Meet up with Ginger Boy tomorrow?"

I looked between her and the news report fawning over my hopeless breakup scandal. . . Well more like his breakup scandal since he hogged most of the spotlight . Flawless, genius, and heir to the Kamisato family, Ayato; was more than happy to accept all types of media, because, in the end, he could sew the tale he desired with a butt load of cash.
