Before Sam Wilson met Steve Rogers he was a para-rescue soldier stationed overseas in Afghanistan for two tours. But you already know this.

What you don't know is that he was stationed in a small village for a few months and while he was there he met a woman and fell in love.

But after 3 months he had to leave. He didn't want to but he and the woman both knew it was for the best.

A few months after he left the woman found out she was pregnant with no way to contact Sam and tell him.

Years later she dies in a raid but the child survives. What happens when people run a DNA test to find extended family for the child. What happens when the name of a man who lives in America pops up? Not only a man but an Avenger?
