"Mom! I'm going now!" I shouted as I was panicking because I know few minutes from now, I'm late.

"Take care dear!" I heard mom shouted and I just laughed at our situation. I immediately called a taxi and went to school.

Once I stepped at the school, all I can hear is students' laughs and voices. Too early to make commotions. Tsk.

"Oh, look who's here. It's Era." I heard a voice from behind. I looked back and saw Irene with her friends, smirking. What does she want this time? I sighed.

"Good morning Irene," I said and bowed, I was about to leave but she grab a handful of my hair and make me face her.

"We're not yet done talking." she chuckled and then suddenly her aura turned dark.

"W-what do y-you w-want?" I whispered, shaking.

"I want you out of my sight, you pig!" she shouted. Everyone around us started watching. Some are laughing, taking videos and some are just there, quiet.

"Hey hey hey. Stop that. It's still early!" The guard interrupted us.

"Stay out of here you pabo!" Irene exclaimed. The guard just shook her head and ignored us. Please, I just want a normal life.

"I-im sorry i-if I did something to you I-rene. Please let me go," I said to her. But she just smirked and slapped me.

"What did you to my girlfriend?" I heard a cold voice that makes Irene stopped from pulling my hair. I looked up and saw Kayden. It's Kayden Kim! The campus hearthrob. My eyes widened.

"I-im-" I was about to say sorry but he helped me stood up instead. I can hear people gasps and whispers.

"Irene, I'm talking to you! What did you do to my girlfriend?!" he exclaimed and Irene was there, shaking. And then realization hit me, what did he just said? I am his girlfriend?!

"Sh-she pushed me earlier and I-I j-just did what I have to d-do. I d-didn't know she's y-your g-girlfriend."

I look at Irene, confused. Me? Pushed her?

"I didn't pushed you. You're the one who pulled my hair first." I said and looked down. I felt a a hand around my shoulders and saw Kayden's hand around me.

"Next time you lay a hand on her, I'm telling you Irene. You won't like what I will do." He said in a dangerous voice and dragged me out of the place.

I am now in front of my room. How did he know my room?

"Let's talk later. At the garden, I'll be waiting for you there. Take care." He said and left.

"T-thank you!" I said and he vanished in my sight. I sighed and went to my class. Good thing the teacher is not here yet. I sat down and looked outside the window. I miss my friends. I just wish they're here. Our professor came and we started classes.

"I'll see you tomorrow class. Good bye." we fixed our things and I went to buy food to the canteen. I sighed and looked around. I'm just being careful. I don't want to experience what I've been to earlier.

I went to the garden immediately and saw Kayden Kim, sitting and listening to music. He's singing! I stood there listening to him. Such sweet voice, it's so...deep.

"K-kayden." I called his attention. But he didn't heard me. I sat beside him. He looked at me and smiled.

"Hi!" he greeted me. I bowed and greeted too. I heard him chuckled.

"Don't be, that's too formal." He laughed. I nodded.

"Have y-you eaten? I bought foods for us, if that's okay with you?" I asked him. He nodded.

"Here's yours." I said and gave him his food.

We started eating and I keep quiet. I don't want to talk. I'm shy.

"So, Irene. Does she always do that to you?" He suddenly asked. I looked at him. I nodded.

"Y-yes. Ever since I transferred school, she bullies me a lot." I said in a soft voice.

"Why?"

"I don't know. S-she always do that. Sometimes, she'll do worse. I don't even know what I did." I replied and eat my food.

"This school sucks!" Kayden said and tsked. I chuckled. I have to agree on that.

"Yeah, it is." And then we become silent again.

"Why are you talking to me? You shouldn't be talking and eating with me." I told him. He looked at me and smiled.

"Why not? I want to be friends with you." He said and chuckled.

"I don't m-mind at all." I replied. He ruffles my hair and I immediately looked down.

"Don't be shy. We're friends already right?" He said and I nodded slowly.

"Good. You done eating? I still have class later tho." He said and I nodded.

"Let's go." I said and we went to his class.

"I'll see you later." He said and smiled.

"Huh? Where are we going?" I asked.

"Uh, let's eat again? I don't know. Let's see later. Okay? Take care Era-ssi." He patted my head and smiled. I smiled back.

Months has passed by and Kayden and I became, best friends. Too fast right? Well, we are always together. That's why some students thought that we're actually together. In fact, we ignore them. We let them think what they think.

"Are you and Kayden together?" My classmate, Jaira asked. It's rare for someone to talk to me. Jaira has become my seatmate eversince, I got no problem with her after all. She seem, nice.

"Ah, ani. We're not. We're just friends." She just nodded and left. Ever since Kayden came into my life, he become my protector, my saviour. My best friend. We stick to each other, Irene stopped bullying me. Kayden always threaten her. Which I find really funny.

"You're spacing out again!" He exclaimed and pinched my cheeks. I glared at him.

"Yah! Stop pinching my cheeks, it hurts!" I yelled at him, he was just there laughing.

"Tss. You look cute, sorry." He's now showing his boxy smile. I smiled because of that. Kayden is a cutie. No wonder people admire him.

"You know Therese?" He suddenly asked. I looked at him.

"Therese? The new girl?" I asked. He nodded and smiled. Does he have a crush on her?

"Oooh, that smile. You have a crush on her?" I asked. Why do I feel my heart in pain?

"Ani, I was just asking. She's friendly tho. She was asking earlier if we can hang out." He said and smiled again.

I just nodded. Therese is beautiful. She's the type of a girl that boys will fell into. She has this innocent face that people will love.

"Ah, you should hang out with her." I just simply said. He looked at me and laughed. "Why?"

"You talk as of it's okay with you."

"And why wouldn't it be okay with me? It's fine. You know you can make friends too, don't focus on me too much. Okay?" I said and smiled a bit. Why does it hurt saying that?

"Ani. I'm staying with you forever. Arrasseo? I'm not having a girlfriend unless you told me so." I chuckled at his statement.

"What am I? Your mom?"

"Nope, you're my rari. My girl." He said and smile.

"And you're my Kayn." I whispered. He chuckled and hugged me.
