I woke up feeling numb and tired. I was busy with something last night and I almost forgot to sleep. Mom would definitely kill me once she knew what I was doing. I sighed as I picked all the crumpled papers that are everywhere on my room.

I was writing songs. I wanted to try it. Maybe, maybe in that way he'll come back?

No. No. Era! What are you thinking? He would never come back! He left without saying nothing right? I am supposed to be angry, why am I so soft when it comes to him?

I shrugged all of those thoughts and left my room and went downstairs. The house is so peaceful. I am alone here. Mom and dad are busy with business and I am always left alone here.

He should be here at this time, eating with me, talking and laughing about his jokes.

I laughed and rolled my eyes. Dream on Era. That was before, everything has changed now. He's out of your reach! I decided to eat breakfast and watched the tv.

I was about to change the channel but I saw his face on the tv. He's there. I stopped from eating and focused watching.

As I looked at him. He look so expensive. He somehow...changed.

DAWN named Time's Entertainer of the Year

A lot of articles showed up and there was a live interview. He is there, together with his members. Sitting so proud. I wonder... I wonder how he is now.

Just by looking at the internet, social medias and newspaper, they're everywhere. I was trying to forget him but how can I? A lot of people talks about them.

"So, Kayden! Your birthday is coming, what are your plans?"

The members looked at him and smiled. He smiled also. Right, his birthday is coming.

"I think I'm just going to celebrate it with the members and my dog, Cooper." he said, so Cooper is still with him huh? I smiled. Cooper was my gift for him on his 21st birthday.

"Aren't you gonna celebrate it with your girlfriend?"

All of them laughed except him. He's just smiling and keeps on shaking his head. So, he has a girlfriend now huh? Tss. I sighed as I turned off the tv and finished eating. I am going to see my friends later. We will discuss about something.

I wore my usual get up and locked the house. I used the car dad bought for me last week and went directly to the meet up place. My friends are now complete and I think I am the only one they're just waiting. I smirked.

"Wow, you were so early!" Hannah sarcastically told me and pinch my cheeks.

"Yah! Stop that!" I scolded but she just shrugged. They all looked at me and smiled.

"We're glad you're here." Kahrel said and hugged me. I rolled my eyes. What's with these people?

"Of course I'll be here! We have to discuss something right?" I told them. Minutes later. Foods are now served in front of us. Since I just finished eating breakfast, I get some dessert and started eating.

All of my friends are trainees. They're in a group. Like the five of them, they keep on insisting me to join them but I always refuse. Singing and dancing is not for me! Na-uh! I may write songs but I never sing! I sounded like a goat.

"So, the manager told us---" Jinny was about to say something when I cut her off.

"What is it again this time you guys? Is this about me being an idol?" I asked them and they just faked a laugh and nodded slowly. I knew it. Here we go again.

"Era come on! You have the potential!" Hannah told me. I rolled my eyes.

"You guys knew about my condition," I told them while I am munching my food. They rolled their eyes.

"Don't you think this is a good way for you to finally skip out and forget him?" Yewon told me. I sighed and closed my eyes for a bit. They always keep on insisting.

"This would be fun! And you ain't even doing something at home!" Kahrel said. I noticedthat my other friend, Zia, is silent.

"Zia? Aren't you gonna tell me something? Last time, you were the one who keeps on insisting me to join your group," I told her. She look at me intently.

"Yah! Why would I force you? If you don't really want to join then fine! We can-we can find another one right?" She said while looking at the others. They sighed and smiled.

"Era-ssi, what's with you? Don't you wanna be a star? We aren't even debuting yet, you can still train! And if the CEO---" I cut off Hannah.

"I just can't. I might... see him," I told them.

"Of course you'll see Kayden! We're on the same entertainment and building!" Zia shouted, all of the customers looked at us. We looked at them apologetically and continued talking.

"See? You're in the same building, how can I survive that?" I said and drink some juice. Thinking about me, seeing Kayden is a big no no. I hate him. I shouldn't be here in Korea, I was supposed to fly to New York and accept the job my aunt gave me. But mom refused, now I am stuck here.

"Okay okay fine. We'll stop talking about recruiting you, but if you ever change your mind, tell us okay?" Jinny said and we all continue to eat.

"I ain't changing my mind," I told them. I heard them sigh. And I'm guessing, they already gave up. Which is good, I guess.

I was left alone here in the café. The girls went ahead because of their training. Which is one of the reasons why I didn't accepted their offer. I hate trainings. I don't want to get tired. I easily got tired and I don't like those kind of things.

"Can I sit here?" said a voice in front me. I looked up only to see a guy wearing a mask and sunglasses. He's also wearing a leather jacket. I nodded and smiled. I sip on my coffee and scroll on my feed. My timeline is so boring. I sighed and looked outside. I saw few couples passing by and I tsked. I look in front of me.

The guy is now staring at me. I guess? Wait, he seems familiar.

"M-mwo?" I asked. He just shakes his head and continue reading the newspaper. He really is familiar! And why am I even nervous? I think to myself.

I looked at the guy who's now removing his eyeglasses.

K-kayden?

Impossible! I shook my head and look outside.

He is not Kayden. Okay? Now, Era get out there and leave!

"You seem familiar," he speaks. I looked at him and shake my head.

"N-no, I don't know you," I utterly said. He removed his mask and I was stuck in my seat.

"K-kayden?" I was shocked.

He stared at me for a minute and I did the same thing. I look and around and then looked back at him again. How come he's here? I felt my heart beat going faster. Era, you need to calm down!

"Hey, are you a fan? I'm sorry but don't tell others that you saw me in here okay?" He said and smiled.

Huh? Doesn't he know me?

"You-you don't know me?" He shook his head.

I felt a pang on my chest as he said that. Wow. Just wow!

"I-im Era, y-your fr-fr---" I was cut off when he immediately stand up and put back all the accessories he removed earlier.

"I'm sorry but the company is looking for me, nice to meet you, I hope to see you on the fansigning event!" He said and leave. I was left there, shocked at his statement.

How can he talk to me like that as if he didn't remember me at all?
