johnny was always the brightest one in the team. he'd cheer you up when you frown, and help you get up when you're down.

i didn't really think too much about him since he's always smiling.

until i caught him alone, looking at the stars as he let the tears stream down his cheeks.

we were standing on the rooftop of the building we're working on.

i wondered where he went since i knew we took the night shift. but i couldn't see him anywhere.

so i went here, and saw him.

it broke my heart. seeing him cry like this.

he never really cried infront of anyone.

it was always his smile and his bright personality showing.

"stay strong, john. you can do this." i heard him whisper to himself, he wiped his tears off and sighed.

"just stay strong and fight. i know i can do this."

i couldn't see what he was doing, but it looks like he's clenching his chest.

is he alright?

i took a step closer and johnny was surprised to see someone here with him.

"o-oh, hey, what are you doing up here? i thought you were busy working?" johnny asked, putting on a smile on his face.

please stop doing this to yourself.

i didn't say anything and just hugged him.

"il-hyung? are you alright? why are you--"

"everything's gonna be alright, john. i don't know your problem but i'm sure you'll get over it soon." i said, still hugging him. i can hear his heart beat faster with every second that passes by.

"don't let everything in your chest though, you need to talk it out somehow. but i'm not forcing you to do it." i let go of the hug and looked up to him.

"you can talk to me if you want. i don't like seeing you stressed out." i sighed then turned around.

"let's go now, we don't want to be working too late don't we?" i asked as i walk away to the door. but stopped when johnny said something.

"thanks hyung...would you mind grabbing a cup of coffee tomorrow?" he asked. i smiled.

"sure."
