DOIL
> sorry <
doyoung did everything.
from saying sorry, to giving presents.
but the older just shut him down.
everyone else already forgave him.
they trust his words, and he promised he'll never do something like that ever again.
he placed the box of chicken infront of taeil's room. hoping he would atleast accept it.
"i brought you chicken hyung. hope you'll like it. i'm really sorry for what i did."
it's already been a month. has it?
"i promise hyung, i'll never--"
the door opened.
"take your food with you, and leave me alone. i'm not in the mood to eat anything right now." taeil didn't even bother looking up to the male. why can't he just move on? doyoung already said sorry to everyone. it's just him who's being hard-to-get or whatsoever.
doyoung sighed.
"i understand. just...don't starve yourself, hyung. i'll be worried if you do."
taeil closed the door and doyoung walked away slowly.
a tear fell from taeil's eyes.
'it's not you, doyoung-ssi. i just can't bring myself up to you. i don't even know why...'
•
"hyung, help! mark hyung's burning the stove!!" donghyuck yelled as he took a towel and wet it with water.
"what!?" doyoung didn't waste any second and quickly stood up.
he closed the stove and he saw the frying pan burnt with eggs in it. donghyuck threw the towel on the pan and it made a sizzling sound.
doyoung looked at the two.
"i'm sorry, hyung. i'm just really hungry and my sunshine won't bother helping me here." mark rubbed his head, then looked at the tanned male beside him. "i don't really think he knows how to cook anyways."
donghyuck glared at the older.
"are you underestimating my power!?" donghyuck confronted the older, mark did the same.
doyoung sighed.
"alright. enough of you two fighting. just go clean this mess up or else i'll kick your butts!" dyoung rolled his eyes and glared at the two before walking out the kitchen. "oh, wait." he looked back. "has anyone of you seen taeil hyung? he haven't come back from his room since last night."
"no. why?"
"do you have an idea on where he might be?"
"ask someone else, hyung. we're living here with you. we don't really know much."
"alright, thanks..." doyoung sat back down on the sofa.
'where could he be? he couldn't possibly run away right? wait-- what if he did!?'
"guys, i'll be heading out for a while. make sure to keep this house safe!" doyoung yelled. he wore his cap and opened the door out.
but then, he saw taeil...with his hands around taeyong's shoulder walking their way in here.
"hyung! what happened to him!?" doyoung immediately helped taeyong out and carried the older. "is he drunk? what happened to your face?" he looked at taeil, then at taeyong. taeyong's eyes looks like it was punched by someone, and taeil looks drunk as heck.
"let's get taeil hyung to his room first...i'll tell you later." taeyong held his damaged eye and enetered the house.
•
"so, what happened?" doyoung looked at taeyong, pressing the cold pack gently on the older's eye.
"well...i was washing the dishes when someone suddenly called me."
...
"hello? may i ask who this is?"
'it's me, you f***ing **shole'
taeyong looked at the id caller. 'taeil hyung? is this really him? why didn't i check the caller earlier?'
"taeil hyung? is this really you?"
'who else would i be? *hic*'
is he drunk?
"hyung, where are you right now?"
'on earth. *hic* hey, how about you? where are you? *hic* are you with my bunny again? huh? *hic* you're a wh**e you know that?'
taeyong was close to tearing up. but he knew he's just drunk and he doesn't mean any of that...right?
"h-hyung. where are you? please tell me?"
'i'm at a bar of course. you dumb**s. *hic* what does he see in you anyways? you're clearly dumb.'
he thinks doyoung likes him?
"i'll be picking you up. stay where you are and don't go anywhere."
he didn't end the call. he's afraid something might happen to the older.
"hey...are you still there?"
he put on his coat and shoes ready to go out.
'eh? who's this?'
'you look cute. do you want to come over to my place?'
taeyong's eyes widened.
he needs to be fast.
...
he entered the club, not really knowing where to go since it's his first time.
he wandered around and finally saw taeil, hanging around with a woman at his age.
"hey! get off him!" taeyong yelled. enough for the woman and taeil to hear.
but the woman didn't seem to be stopping any time now.
"get off! i have a bunny to take care of! you w**re!" taeil tried pushing the woman away, but it was no use. taeil is a soft guy. he can never hit anyone. even if he tried, it'll be soft like feather.
"he said get off!" taeyong then pushed the lady away. he isn't really fond of hurting women but if his friends are in danger. he'll do it.
"y-you'll pay for that!" the lady may or may not have sprained her ankle when she fell. not her fault though. she was being an **shole.
a giant, muscular man suddenly appeared infront of taeyong.
"how dare you hurt her!" his deep, cold voice sent shivers down taeyong's spines. but he ignored him.
"hyung, are you alright?" he held taeil's shoulders but taeil shrugged it off.
a strong, hard thing suddenly hit him.
the man punched him.
taeyong groaned. he held his eyes and it stung.
people then started to gather around them.
"get up, you coward!" the man yelled.
but taeyong is nowhere to getting up.
he did not come here for fights, he came here to save his friend.
a few bodyguards then came and pulled the man off the bar.
"everyone, get back to your own businesses." the guards yelled and everyone strangely followed.
"sir, are you alright?"
"yes, i'm fine. thank you."
the guards left and taeyong stood up.
"hyung, we need to go now." he looked at taeil but the older was already sleeping.
how can he sleep on his state?
...
"and that's basically what happened." taeyong sighed.
"i'm sorry for the things he told you."
"it's alright. it's not your fault."
silence then took over.
"you think we should hang out less?" taeyong suddenly asked. "i mean, that's the reason why he's avoiding you, right?"
"no. i'm gonna fix this. but...i'm gonna be needing your help." doyoung said, looking at taeyong in the eyes. a cheeky smile going with him.
"help? for what?"
•
a few days has already passed. taeil's sitting on a bench, trying to breathe in some fresh air.
*ring*
*ring*
he took out his phone and answered the caller.
"taeyong-ssi? what's wrong?"
'it's about doyoung. he hasn't woken up yet!'
"and? what about it? it's pretty early in the morning."
'we're supposed to hang out today. but he still hasn't woken up.'
"look. if you're not gonna say--"
'i'm in his house.'
taeil's eyes widened.
he immediately ended the call and rushed to doyoung's home. [ in which, taeil, mark, and donghyuck is currently living in with him. ]
•
"mark! hyuck! where's my bu-- doyoung-ssi!?" he asked as soon as he got in.
"in his room, why? taeyong hyung is there as well." donghyuck answered.
without hesitation, taeil wuickly went upstairs and opened doyoung's room.
but was shocked when he saw no one in there.
he was disappointed but relieved at the same time.
disappointed since they toyed him, and relieved since doyoung's fine.
but...what if he's in the hospital?
he immediately contacted taeyong and got no response.
so, he did what he must.
but before he could leave the room.
someone called his name.
"taeil hyung."
he knew who owns this voice. but if he is mistaken...
"please turn around."
taeil was afraid to turn around, but he needs to move on, right? everybody already forgave him. plus it happened a month ago. what rights does he have to hate the younger?
"it's alright, if you don't. but please hear me out."
taeil closed his eyes, and left his ears open.
"i'm really sorry for what i did last month..."
...
"i wasn't in the right mind. i let my emotions take over me."
taeil does not hate the younger.
"i didn't think or consider your guys feelings. especially, yours."
and he never will.
"it's just that...you were ignoring me when i came back."
he just doesn't really know why he doesn't want to face the younger.
"i thought you hated me, hyung. and i just really have to see donghyuck flirting with you that day."
taeil looked down.
"i got furious. you ignored me, and someone who has a boyfriend flirted with you."
'i'm sorry, doyoung-ssi.'
"you didn't even give me a reason, on why you did those things."
'you don't deserve me. you deserve someone better.'
"but i know i don't have the rights to assume your reasonings."
'you're right, doyoung. i didn't explain anything. i ignored you with no specific reason.'
"as much as i want to know why, i respect your decisions."
'i was jealous too. i didn't even do anything about it.'
"but i hope you forgive me. i promise i'll never do that again, and i'll try to talk less with taeyong if you want."
doyoung took a step forward.
"just always remember that i'm here."
..
"and...i love you."
taeil was shocked, once again. he opened his eyes as soon as he felt a pair of arms hugging his waist.
"i'm sorry too...doyoung-ssi..."
doyoung smiled.
"and i forgive you too." taeil spoke, holding the younger's arms. "i already forgave you...i just...can't bring myself up to face you."
doyoung rested his head on the older's shoulders.
"i don't know why, but i think it's because of...your new friend."
doyoung hummed.
"you always hang out with him, and i can't help but feel...jealous."
taeil removed doyoung's hug and faced the younger.
"i'm sorry, doyoung-ssi. i should've explained, instead of ignoring you for weeks. i'm really sorry, doyoung." he looked down again.
but doyoung lifted his chin up.
"it's alright, moon. atleast we're finally together again...after a few years. i missed you, my moon. i really did." doyoung smiled sweetly to the younger. "i love you, moon..."
taeil showed a small smile.
"i love you too, bunny."
