𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. You had been hard at work for the past hour trying to shimmy the dagger through the gap of the door.

When you felt the screw loosen as it lifted into the air, you grinned as you heard it clatter to the ground.

Hiking your foot up in a swift kick against the door, the wood fell to the ground. You tossed the dagger away as you glanced to the side, placing your hands at your hips as you cooed, "Oh, come on, you look great!"

With a whine, Spike walked out of the bunk with a deep frown, a pink bow tied around a bundle of his light caramel brown hair. You took off in a run, and the dog was quick to follow after you, but not before shaking the bow out of his hair.

You removed the band from your hair, allowing the tight braided pun to fall into a messy plait, strands of hair swaying around your face as you glanced around the deck.

"Look lively! Jed, get the long poles!"

As you returned your gaze to the two men in front of you, the weaponry man, Jed, who was holding half a dozen beams of wood, suddenly swirled towards you. You had to duck to avoid the poles, sending him a pointed look as he stammered, "Oh, pardon me, my princess."

"Hey, we need a pole over here!"

"Jin, one over here!"

The orders and yells of the crew went on deaf ears as your gaze remained on the imposing black mountains ahead. Dark clouds swirled atop the rocky points as a thick layer of fog settled atop the calm, dark blue water. "The Dragon's Teeth?" you mumbled to yourself.

A sudden throat clearing caused your attention to divert upwards, stunned by the sight of a man diving down from the sail's pole, grunting as the rope attached to his feet caused him to come to a stop in front of you, although upside down. "Indeed, signorina," he confirmed. You grimaced slightly at the man's stench, taking a slight step backwards. "Only the most foolish of captains would dare to sail a ship through this!"

"Rat, reef the fores'le!" you heard Sinbad order.

"Oh, excuse me, signorina."

You couldn't help but smile as he zipped back upwards to his original post, before turning around and making your way to the captain's deck. You watched as Sinbad rolled his eyes, obviously awaiting your 'complaining'. "Are you sure you know what-."

"Yes, we've done this kind of thing before," he interrupted with a shake of his head.

"Look-."

"No, there is no other way."

"But-."

"And, yes, you have my permission to stand there quietly and get a free lesson in sailing."

"You know-."

"Besides, a ship is no place for a woman, let alone a princess," he finished with a smile, causing a scoff to escape your lips as you glared at him. "Jin! Easy on the main!"

"Aye!"

You grunted in complete disgust, crossing your arms over your chest as you watched the entrance of the Dragon's Teeth come closer, until the ship was slowly sailing across the luminous ocean passageway. The sail poles dragged against the stone's edge, causing little debris to fall into the water as you kept your gaze ahead.

"Steady as she goes," Sinbad ordered.

"Rocks! Off the starboard bow!" Rat informed loudly, causing the man beside you to rotate the wheel, urging the ship to move away from the rocks and continue down its course.

Suddenly, the waterway opened into a much larger bay, and your eyes widened at the sight of numerous shipwrecks, the wood rotting as mold covered the lower curves of the boats. You thought you were going crazy, softly tapping your ear as the sound of gently singing was heard.

"Steady," the captain muttered, the two of you glancing to side at a woman figurehead, water dripping down her face.

You moved away from Sinbad, leaning your hands on the railing as you softly wondered, "What is that sound?"

"Shh," he hushed, causing you to furrow your eyebrows.

You shook your head, ignoring the man as you allowed your gaze to move across the ships close to you. Your eyes widened as the water dripping from the wooden boats shifted, forming into a womanly body. The soft humming you had heard turned into a harmonious singing as you stepped back, hand lifting to the pirate's arm.

"Sinbad, I..." At the sound of Spike's barking, you ran back to the rails, leaning your head over, a gasp leaving your lips as you watched the figure seep through the water. "Sirens."

The women leaped from the ocean, twirling through the air as they made their way around the ship. As they passed you once again, they offered you a toothy smile before diving back into the water.

"Pretty..." you heard Li mumble from the stairs.

You ran back over to Sinbad, tugging on his arm as he stared out into the open, a dazed expression overtaking his features. "Sinbad. Hey, snap out of it!" Suddenly, the ship lurched to the side, causing you to press up against the man as the boat made its way down a rough fall of water, rocks pivoting against the ship. "Sinbad!" you yelled, waving your hand in front of his face, but receiving no response. "Jin? Li?

"Come and get it, ladies!" Luca exclaimed, showing his bare chest to the sirens.

"Kale?" you tried for the large man, finding him leaning against the railing with a seductive smile.

"Come with me. We'll speak of love."

"Oh..." Rat mumbled as he sent kisses to the water, before slamming into one of the ship's beams.

"Who's bad? Sin-Bad," the captain flirted with a tired smirk.

"Ugh. Men," you groaned. You leaned down, grabbing ahold of Sinbad's leg and wrenching it from underneath him, causing the man to tumble to the ground as you took his spot at the wheel. It was spinning wildly due to water, and you gripped onto it, straining slightly to stop it, taking control of the boat.

As the crew were in a love-struck daze, three sirens rose from the ocean, beckoning them forward. They followed, but the mermaids sent a wave of water, sending them sprawling to the ground.

"I saw her first!" Jin claimed, shoving his brother away.

You watched the men below, before glancing to the side, where Spike stood near Sinbad, watching his owner in fear before looking at you. Your eyes caught onto a piece of rope, quickly holding it out to the dog, to which he took hold of into his mouth. "Round the deck! Now!" you ordered, causing Spike to take off down the wooden stairs, following your command.

Spike ran across the railing, jumping off of it as he bit onto the rope, circling the crew, before pulling tightly on the cable tightly to secure the men.

You smiled in victory, but it soon dropped as your gaze rose to Rat, who was flying around the ship as he sang, "Amore! Amore, amore! My darling."

"Rat!" you shouted in alarm.

"I love you," he claimed to the siren as he leant down to the water, where the woman grinned and held his scuffed face in her transparent hands.

You reached down to Sinbad, hauling his body upwards as you hefted him onto the wheel, his build weighing it down. You then ran down the stairs, hauling a bundle of rope over the mast.

Rat had given into the siren, falling into the water as the woman pressed her watery lips to his. As his eyes fluttered open, they soon filled with fright as he struggled in her tight grip.

You grunted as you leapt off the side of the deck, hoisting your legs for momentum as you swung across the ship, soon flying over the water where you saw Rat's blurred body. In your hand was a thick hook, and as you dove your arm through the bank, you secured it underneath Rat's pants.

Landing with a groan, you stabilized yourself onto the deck, before quickly securing the rope that held a now flailing Rat. The siren shrieked, reaching for the man.

You gasped once you finished with the rope as the siren moved to her next prey: the captain. You watched as Sinbad was drawn across the ship, hands reaching for the woman as you yelled, "Spike! Get Sinbad!"

The dog barked in confirmation, jumping forward just as Sinbad fell over the railing. Spike bit into his owner's butt, pulling him backwards as Sinbad was momentarily yanked from his daze. "Ow!"

As he stumbled across the deck, a smile formed on his face again as another siren entranced him.

You yelled, grunting as you fell forward due to the ship tumbling down the luminous waterfall. You groaned as you were suddenly pushed into the chest of a certain pirate. Sinbad wrapped his arms around you as your lips were pressed to his. Your gasp was muffled due to how harshly he was kissing you, dipping you backwards as his hands drifted all over your back and behind.

You escaped his kiss, and without a second thought, you curled your fingers into a fist, punching the man away from you.

Wiping your swollen lips, your eyes widened at the sight of the glowing green water ahead that spiraled up a large rock formation. Other ships were pushed up against it, being crushed and torn to smithereens due to the sirens and the rock.

You ran back up the wheel, tightening your grip on the panels. You searched for an opening or any means of escape, until your eyes caught onto a speck of blue. As the boat moved closer, it was revealed that behind one of the shipwrecks, was a clear route to the open sea.

"Spike, the blades!" you shouted. Spike barked, quickly leaping atop his owner, and kicking the wooden lever, pushing it forward.

You grunted as you shoved the wheel's direction to the left, the ship taking the sudden turn as you braced yourself. The blades allowed the boat to maneuver through the wreck, slicing away any weak wood in its path.

In a futile attempt, the sirens clawed at the front of the ship, wishing to seduce any more of the crew, but were ultimately crushed as the ship surged forward. You were air-bound for a moment, before the steady sea greeted you with a splash as the ship landed.

You glanced around, a sigh leaving your lips as you brushed away any hair that was in your eyesight, tucking it behind your ears.

Not bad for a princess, you thought to yourself as you smirked at a sputtering Sinbad.
