The incident with Jimin had been brushed over, at least from what Yoongi could tell. Neither Jungkook nor Taehyung acted like it had ever happened, though they didn't talk to Jimin at all. Yoongi thought it was best just to not bring it up, and after seeing what happened with Jimin and Jungkook, that only made him more anxious around Taehyung, who showed no interest in him, but rather in their younger friend. Whether or not Taehyung knew about that was beyond Yoongi's knowledge.

Taehyung

Jungkook had sprung the idea the evening before of staying with Taehyung at his hotel. Taehyung didn't really mind. In fact, he rather enjoyed the company. So, Jungkook had gone to his and Jimin's apartment and packed his suitcase, which now lay between Jungkook's bed and the wall.

Taehyung sat on his bed, earbuds in and playing a game on his phone as he waited for Jungkook to get back from the lobby with snacks. Finally, the younger boy opened the door, entering the room, a plastic grocery bag plump-full with snack-sized bags of chips, candy, and other random snacks.

Tae looks up and takes an earbud out, turning his body to face the other. Jungkook sits next to Taehyung, setting the bag between them.

"Did you see the thing Jimin posted?" Jungkook asks, pulling a candy bar out of the bag. V nods, leaving the snacks be for the time being.

"네," V responds, and he shrugs his shoulders as well, "but I don't think it's worth talking about. It'll only make us angry, especially you."

"I know," Jungkook says, taking a small bite from his bar. "But, I'm already angry. I mean, why did he have to be so violent, or why did he have to hate you purely because he was jealous?"

When the older doesn't respond, the younger continues. "I mean, the day before I left to go to Daegu to meet you, he kept going on and on about how I was going to love hanging out with you, how you were this amazing person, and he kept building you up."

"Jungkook, we should just drop it," Tae replies, his voice soft, but his words firm. "It's in the past. We can't do anything about it now. We should just forget about it and move on. Reminiscing won't do us any good."

A soft silence passed through the air before Jungkook lets a gentle sigh out through his nose. The maknae looks down and shakes his head lightly, running his hand through his hair. "Yeah, you're probably right."

Taehyung too sighed, though his was more in relief. "Thank you. Hey, we should go do something instead of staying cooped up in the hotel room."

"Do something? Like what?" Jungkook asks, finishing off his candy bar as he looks up at Taehyung, who only shrugs.

"Anything, really," Tae replies. "We could go see another movie, go eat actual food rather than junk food, go to the arcade like we were going to do."

The younger male tilts his head slightly in thought, crumbling his wrapper in the process. Finally, he turns his eyes on Taehyung once again and nods.
