three years later...

Addison gave birth eight months later to a beautiful baby boy.

He has Niall's eyes, which Niall wouldn't shut up about.

Ivy is now five, and enjoys tormenting her younger brother. She misses the constant attention. She still has constant nightmares about the accident, but unfortunately she would deal with that for most likely her entire lifetime. Her father was older and mature enough to get over the trauma quicker. Ivy enjoys coloring and dressing up, and loves going on bike rides with her dad.

Niall had postponed his career for a year to really watch his son grow up. He went back to working eventually, but still made sure he was with his family at all times. He always sets aside time to play with Ivy and her brother, and he didn't want to miss a second of their lives. He still feels awful about missing two years of Ivy's.

Addison started working full time while Niall stayed home with the kids. She originally declined the idea immediately, but Niall convinced her that it was fair since she was home 24/7 with the kids for four years. She started working at a small bakery downtown, but Niall eventually persuaded her for all of them to move out of their cramped home. They moved to L.A. and bought a bigger home. Addison found a job at a small cafe, recommended by her best friend, Harry Styles.

"I even sang about it," he told her.

Now their son? He's athletic even at two years old. He runs around more that Ivy did when she was his age, which is saying something since Ivy ran away twice. Luckily, this little boy hasn't run away. Yet. Niall makes sure to keep a better eye on both of his kids after those incidents.

Oh, and Niall and Addison named their son after a man who had saved their entire family's lives.

They named their son Harry Edward Horan.
