"How do you think she's doing?" We all stood in the living room, waiting for a glimpse of my sister. Emmett stood beside me as I balanced Eli on my hip. "Be nosy and tell me what's going on," Emmett smirked at me and shared a look with Jasper.

"She almost crushed him," Jasper answered for him. "I think he forgot that newborns are stronger than we are."

"Maybe stronger than you but they're not as strong as me." Emmett grinned smugly. He lifted his arm and patted his flexed bicep. "Arms of steel baby." Jasper rolled his eyes as I laughed.

"Sh!" Rosalie shushed them with a sharp look, Nesmee standing beside her as she held her hand. "No one can hear over the sound of your stupidity."

"Babe, it's fine. They're upstairs kissing anyway. Nobody wants to hear that." Dom smiled gently at her as he chuckled.

"They're going hunting now," Carlisle announced. I noticed Jasper's body tensed up and he cautiously moved toward me.

He noticed my confused face and shook his head at me. "Instincts kicking in I guess." I nodded, though he could still see I was confused. The guardian bond was still new for us and it was taking some getting used to.

"They're near." Jasper relaxed slightly as Rosalie came to stand beside me, Nesmee giving me a bright smile as she grabbed my hand. Jasper moved to stand beside Alice and Emmett positioned himself half in front of me as we all turned to face the back door.

"Jacob." Carlisle gave the boy a friendly smile and Jake took that as his cue to go. We all agreed to send him out first, to see how she'd react to someone human. I had faith in her but of course, Emmett and his brothers placed a bet on if the werewolf would survive.

"Damn," Emmett swore under his breath and I smiled widely at him, my sister was fine. "He lives another day."

"Guess who's alive." Jake practically strutted inside as he smirked at the boys. "Oh and she's right behind me." I set Eli down on his feet and Emmett tensed up slightly. He was the most anxious out of everyone. We knew Jake was a good test subject but apparently, his stench could hide the smell of his blood most of the time. He was worried about me being the only human, she'd break and attack. I had my doubts but he was still on edge.

I gasped as she came inside. She was beautiful. She still looked like herself but now she emitted the same beauty the Cullens did. Her posture was straighter, her hair shinier. Physically she was the same, just enhanced. Times ten.

"Welcome to the family." Esme greeted her with a smile. The kids and I were placed behind the group, each of the vampires huddled in front of us. They parted as she walked in and I sent her a smile as she looked in my direction.

"Someone's been waiting to meet you." Carlisle smiled kindly. Rosalie turned around and picked up Nesmee. I furrowed my eyebrows at her worried state and Jake slid up in front of her, smiling at his imprint. (Something that still weirded me out.) Edward and Bella stopped a foot away from us and to give Rosalie a minute, I stepped forward and smiled at my sister.

"Hey Bells." She beamed at me and moved to hug me but Emmett was there to stop her with his hand and a shake of his head. "Oh, right. I could crush you."

"Rain check?" We both laughed and I felt my eyes tear up at the sight of her. "I missed you, Bella." I felt Eli's hand clutch onto my shorts tightly and I lit up as I turned to look at him. "This is Eli. Your nephew." He looked at her curiously before waving at her shyly.

"Wow!" She exclaimed quietly. "He's so big."

"I know. It surprised me too." I giggled. "We've learned that he's really shy. He doesn't like to meet new people." To further prove my point, my body jerked in surprise as my little boy went from standing beside me to latching himself around me. His little arms went around my neck and I sighed softly as his head nuzzled into my neck.

"I see that." She laughed.

"There's someone else you should meet." I nodded toward Rosalie and the blonde finally turned around with a smile on her face. I moved aside as Bella was handed Nesmee and Emmett wrapped his arms around me from behind. I leaned into him and watched as Nesmee put her little hand on Bella's cheek.

"What was that?"

"She's showing the first memory she has of you."

"How?" Bella asked in wonder.

"It's her gift." Edward beamed.

"How long was I out?" We all laughed lightly as Bella looked from her daughter to Eli, who I could feel falling asleep as his little breaths deepened.

"Their growth rate is unprecedented," Carlisle answered her.

"Okay. I think that's enough experimenting for now." Jacob moved to take Nesmee out of Bella's arms and I watched with a bated breath as Bella glared at him in confusion.

"Jacob," Edward warned him. "She's doing great."

"Yeah let's not push it." Jacob sighed anxiously.

"What's your problem?" Bella asked him.

"Oh, this should be good." I felt Emmett chuckle and I pinched his hand that was on my waist, though it was pointless since it didn't hurt him.

"Oh, do tell her Jacob," Rosalie smirked. Dom pulled her away from the boy slightly and wrapped an arm around her waist.

Edward grabbed Nesmee from Bella and Jacob stuttered as he tried to explain.

"What's a wolf thing?" Bella practically growled.

Rosalie moved to grab Nesmee before moving beside me. We stood in the corner of the room, Dom and Jasper near us as Bella grew agitated.

"You know I can't control it. We can't choose who it happens with and it doesn't mean what you're thinking. I promise." He was shaking and we could all see it was because of his nerves.

"Take Renesmee out of the room," Bella demanded. Rosalie strutted out of the room and with a gentle nudge from Emmett, I followed her. I heard Jacob's grunts and groans and could hear Bella's yelling but I paid no attention to it as Eli squirmed in my arms. He was getting hungry and I was tempted to feed him where we stood as I listened to Bella holler at Jacob.

"She's a baby!"

"It's not like that! You'd think Edward would let me live if it was?!" Jacob defended himself.

"So much drama and you're still only a baby." Rosalie played with Nesmee's hair and I grinned at her teasing.

"Your life must've been so boring before we came around." I joked and she laughed melodically.

"Oh, you two have made it lively." She grinned. "Listen," I glanced at her warily as she turned serious. "I want to apologize for how I acted with you."

"I get it, Rose." I smiled gently at her. "We're good." She nodded in thanks and we stayed quiet as Bella continued to yell. I glanced at her nervously as we heard growls interrupt their fight. "I forgot they were here too," I whispered to her. "Do you think it's safe to go watch?"

"I suppose so." She shrugged. I felt Eli relax as I walked hesitantly towards where the family stood watching the fight go on.

"What's happening?" I whispered to Emmett as I sidled up behind him. Eli lifted his head and turned to watch the argument, he truly was my kid.

"She thinks he's calling dibs and she's not having it." He summarized.

"Intense." I exhaled and turned to look where Jacob and Bella stood. "Edward seems to be enjoying it. Lord knows he's been trying to land a few hits on Jake since forever."

"She's amazing, right?" Edward grinned at me as listened to me whisper to Emmett.

"Amazingly violent." I chuckled. Dom walked past me, heading inside to Rosalie and Emmett moved us out of the doorway to stand next to Carlisle on the deck.

"Nessie? You nicknamed my daughter after the Loch Ness Monster!"

"Now he's done it," I commented. Bella moved to attack Jacob again but Seth intervened and ended up taking the hit instead. There was a loud crunch and a whimper as he crashed into a tree. "Oh no." My heart hurt for the boy as his wolf form collapsed onto the ground.

"Seth I'm sorry." Bella quickly apologized. Seth stood up with help from Leah and I felt my chest get hit by a breeze as Eli escaped out of my arms.

"Eli!" I called after him. He appeared beside Seth and I didn't hesitate to run after him. Emmett beat me to it and appeared beside him as we watch Eli reach out to Seth and place his hand against his fur. Eli nuzzled his hand through the thick fur and looked at Emmett, confused about what was happening.

"He's healing him," Edward spoke up beside me.

"He can do that?" I gasped softly. Eli moved his hand away when he was done and he calmly moved to Emmett and stood in between his legs shyly as he noticed everyone looking at him.

"So now we have two gifted babies." Alice beamed excitedly. I turned to Carlisle for answers and he met my gaze with a sad one.

"I haven't been able to find anything new." He replied. I nodded and turned my attention to Seth who phased back, Leah moving in front of him to hide his naked body.

"Holy crap! That was so cool." I couldn't help but return his smile. "It felt so weird. Like my body turned cold for a second and then the pain was gone."

"I'll keep looking," Carlisle informed us as he walked away. Esme and Alice followed him and I moved to stand beside Emmett. He reached down and picked up Eli, cuddling him into his chest.

"You okay bub?" Eli nodded his head and nobody seemed to know what to do. We all knew there was a possibility he'd have a gift but we just assumed that since Emmett didn't have one, he wouldn't either. How wrong we were.

"Was there anything else I missed?" I couldn't help but laugh at Bella's question. "This is a lot to process in one day."

"Jasper is Clary's fairy godmother."

"He's what?"
