The rest of their days were spent individually. Abigail stayed working on trying to get her magic back, Bonnie tried to find spells or clues that would indicate where they were exactly, and Damon was being Damon. That would include drinking bourbon all day and night while being such a nuisance.

Abigail was in Stefan Salvatore's infamous attic room taking a mental and emotional rest. This whole magic thing was really weighing on her like a boulder, same thing went for her friend. She hadn't realize how hard it was to get her powers backโ€”but what she was most afraid of was when she did. Would she still be able to do everything she once did before or would she be completely new to the game again?

Damon took this into consideration and thought a trip out of the house was much needed. They hadn't left in a few days and everyone was starting to slowly disperse into insanity. A little shopping trip never hurt anybody, he thought. Of course, unless they all ripped each other to shreds.

"Rise and shine, Gail," He said with a toothy smile and extended his arms upwards, "We are going grocery shopping, so get up." He walked over and pulled the blanket from her figure. Her body tended up as the cold air hit her and she mentally rolled her eyes.

"But I'm so tired," She mumbled with a little groan and turned to her side in a fetal position, "Have Bonnie go with you. I'll stay here, comfortable and asleep."

"Bonnie is going, and so are you," He replied back after putting the now balled up blanket back on the bed. The boy was starting to get aggravated really quick, "Look, I don't have time to deal with a child today, 'kay? Get up, get refreshed, get ready. Now."

With saying the last sentence, Damon left the room to give her some privacy. Abigail sighed and rolled over on her back, facing the ceiling. She knew he wouldn't stop unless she did what he said, which is why she unfortunately had to get up.

The girl wasn't lying when she said she was tired. It was like the more time she spent focusing on magic, the more it was just draining her. But if she remembered clearly, there are a lot of ways for one to obtain their magic besides the basics.

For instance, when you're in danger. Bonnie told her once that she knew about being a witch the first time the Salvatore brothers appeared in Mystic Falls. It could've been just a coincidence, but maybe Bonnie sensed something was coming and her witch side decided to jump out. That's what Abigail thinks anyways.

Even though she wasn't really looking forward to it, she still wanted something to happen in this damn world to give her a push. Though, that something most likely was Damon and she didn't really want that.

Soon the three were strolling into town together, passing empty streets and crosswalks. It was eerie and unsettling for Abigail; it was enough to make this a hell. She wondered who even created this place as it couldn't have just been sitting here for them. She also wondered if they were totally alone in this world.

Ever since her little nightmare, she's been feeling like someone was watching her. But every time she looked, nobody was there. Damon had declared her crazy and stated that it was only them three who was here. But this was a big world after all, was it so possible that they were alone?

The whole walk was silent, but totally worth it. Sure, it was the same trees and cars and buildings, but the air was nice and relaxing. Though, something felt off to Abigail as they strolled along.

She felt eyes on her. Like someone was just watching them; she kept having that feeling and she hated it. She kept trying to play it off for some animal. But there were no animals, this whole place was deserted except for them.

They finally made it to the grocery store and Abigail looked at it with some unfamiliarity. She usually just let Damon and Bonnie go on the food runs while she stayed behind and tried to get her magic back. How could a little building hold so much food? Where were the farms?

"Where are all the crops and cattle for the food?" She asked with obliviousness and looked around, seeing nothing but cars in a lot.

"Farms sell their products and cattle to places like these, it makes it easier for purchase," Bonnie explained briefly before getting a shopping cart just so Damon could take it.

"But wouldn't the food get all rotten and spoiled?" Abigail asked again with furrowed eyebrows, genuinely curious as to how people have kept the goods stored.

"They have special places to put all the stuff that needs to be cooled and frozen," Bonnie explained, again. She couldn't believe she was thinking this, but Abigail was acting stupid. Like she didn't know anything.

"So, like, meat gets placed with all the cool stuff? But how would they know if it gets contaminated or not?" Abigail asked as they walked in and she was hit with cold air, very different from outside.

This sent Bonnie off the handles.

"You're not dumb, figure it out," She said harshly and looked around before taking out the shopping list from her pocket.

"I'm sorry for asking simple questions, darling," Abigail sighed and rolled her eyes which caught the Bennett witch's attention.

"Hey, it's not my fault that you don't know the basics of one of the most easiest things. You should've been here all the other times."

"Sorry I was too busy focusing on my magic to be able to get us out of here. My sincere apologies."

"You're acting like you're the only one actually trying to help! I've been looking through books nonstop for spells, not to mention on how to get my own magic, too!"

"Ladies!" Damon shouted at both girls, his serious face becoming clear. He looked at Abigail, "If you can't play nice, wait outside."

This caused her to be furious as she didn't do anything. All she was doing was asking questions about the food and Bonnie started getting annoyed, but she's the one to be punished? Besides, she didn't even want to come in the first place, it was all Damon's idea. But of course, she was his best friend so he targeted Abigail instead.

"The first thing I do when I get my magic back is driving a stake in your heart," She glared at him before turning on her heels and walking out, not even knowing where she was going.

God, was she mad. She could practically feel her blood boiling with rage. Why was she always the one getting mistreated? Yeah, Bonnie and Damon are closer in a lot of ways, but this wasn't her fault.

All of the sudden, all the cars in the parking lot started going off. They were honking and the tail lights kept flashing. It wasn't long before one of the cars eventually had its windows blown out. It startled her, a lot, but it was also kind of fascinating. She looked around, wondering what was causing the sudden move. Then she got to thinking.

Was this her doing?

Bringing a smirk to her lips, she snapped her fingers and just like that all the cars stopped. Her smirk rose to a grin.

She finally got her magic back. All it took was a little anger caused by Damonโ€”no surprise there, she must admit. He might've grown on her, but she couldn't forget that he was apart of the species that played a part in her death. But surely a little anger couldn't have been the entirety of her getting her power back. No, there was something else.

A few minutes passed as she stood in the parking lot. She was still amazed by how she made the cars go crazy that she didn't see the Bennett witch walking towards her.

"I'm sorry," Bonnie sighed before giving a soft smile to the girl, "This whole thing is just driving me crazy and you're little harmful questions were the least of my worries, I guess, but I didn't have a right to go off on you like that. So, I apologize. Friends again?"

Abigail shrugged her shoulders and crossed her arms. She wasn't going to sit and cry all day because someone was mean to her. That's not how her mother raised her and not how she raised herself. She held a grudge once before and that ended with her family being ripped out of her arms again.

Not this time.

"I forgive you. Damon on the other hand..." She trailed off, her voice going lower with each word she said. She was still angry at him for blaming her for everythingโ€”not even this situation.

Whatever went wrong within their lives, he immediately pointed a finger at her. She chose to forgive and forget about those times, but she never acted like it didn't hurt her. Like the time a candle knocked over and accidentally set a curtain on fire or the time he blamed for appearing in this world in the first place.

She was done with it.

"I just had a major argument with him about leaving this place and 'hope'," Bonnie chuckled a little while putting quotes around the word. "He's a dick who doesn't even know what the words mean."

"Well, can't say that comes with any surprise," She agreed with a lighthearted smile before she heard screaming coming from inside the market. The Bennett witch and Abigail exchanged looks before running in.

When they got to the scene, Damon was on the floor withering in pain. There were smashed bottles everywhere and a guy stood over him, about to plunge him with a stick of some sort.

"Stay away from him!" Bonnie shouted to the guy, as a sense of protectiveness washed over Abigail.

"The useless ones are here. Thank god," He said with a 'relieved' tone, but he was really being a dick, "I've watched you guys try to do magic for months now. What are you guys gonna do? Fail at me? It's embarrassing. I'm embarrassed for you."

Abigail has to hold in a laugh as she looked at the guy. He really had no idea that she just got her powers back, and boy was he in for a rude awakening. You don't threaten witches and think you got to get away with it.

"You are in for a rude awakening."

She looked over at Bonnie and saw her look at a candle that was nearby, when it went up with a flame. A smile came to her face and Damon's as she now realized that they both had their magic back.

"Run," Abigail told Damon as she watched regret take over the mysterious mans face, sending her into a frenzy. Damon sped somewhere and the two girls faced the man.

He dropped the stick with his hands raised up in surrender, "Okay, okay, okay."

"Giving up that soon?" Bonnie questioned with a teasing tone, narrowing her eyes at him.

"We're embarrassed for you," Abigail mocked his tone from a few seconds before looking at all the spilled liquor. It all went up in flames and she didn't have to mutter a single word. He was trapped within the flaming circle; they could've killed him right then.

Then Damon had to pop up and hit him with something that sent him flyingโ€”literally, into a stack of chairs. The guy passed out and Abigail looked back down at the fire, making his calm down before the flames just disappeared.

"Sorry I said you were the most annoying person in the world," Damon said an apology to Bonnie before looking back down at him, "I haven't met him yet."

Bonnie smiled at him and Abigail crossed her arms. She was waiting for an apology from him too since he wasn't the nicest to her earlier. If it wasn't for them, he would be dead.

He looked at Abigail and went into his dad mode he's discovered since meeting her, "Abby, I'm sorry for being a dick, but that's really nothing new when you get to know me long enough. Forgive me."

"I was expecting something a little more poetic, but that'll do," She shrugged and gave him a smile before looking back at the boy.

She had to admit even against her own wishes, but he was very gorgeous. It made her wonder. He was knocked out right now, but something about this guy was just so intriguing.

"Do you know this guy?" She asked Damon whilst still looking at sleeping beauty, tilting her head to the side.

"No clue, but he said that his name was Kai," Damon answered truthfully before bending down and picking him up, throwing him over his shoulder.

He figured that it'll be very helpful if they interrogated him to explain why he was trying to kill him. Who knows, maybe the girls would have to stop Damon from killing Kai this time. That sure would be interesting to see.

'This sure to be entertaining,' Abigail thought to herself before they all began walking back to the house.
