---
Jackson stared at the ceiling. It was empty. Too empty, he thought.
He reached his arm over to his dresser, and got his phone. He unlocked it and checked the time. 1:38 am. He sighed. He woke up at an absolutely inconvenient time, and it was frustrating him. It was a strange feeling to him. He never usually wakes up in the middle of the night, but tonight was an exception. He woke up feeling frustrated, because he wanted to go back to sleep. He usually relaxes at this time, especially when he was at home, when he was in bed.
Especially when he was in bed with Momo.
He looked to his left and stared at the girl beside him. She was sleeping in GOT7's dorm tonight, because he pestered and pestered her to not leave and stay with him, much to hers and JB's dismay ("I can't have this woman seeing my beauty routine! She'll think I'm fake!") but she gave in anyway. They went to bed quite early, since both were super tired from a day of practice reahearsals.
Momo's eyes were closed, and her mouth was slightly open, which Jackson found cute. Her hands were gingerly touching the pillow as she snored quietly, and he could feel her steady breath touching his face. She looked so peaceful.
He envied her.
Whenever he was with Momo, whether it be cuddling at home or having dinner outside, he would relax, and tone down. She had that effect. He was a different kind of Jackson around her - not the usual hyper and sassy one, but the sweet and lovable one. She calmed him down and made him enjoy her company. She liked sweet and lovable Jackson, and so did he.
He turned to her direction and snaked his muscled arms around her. Momo stirred and gave a soft groan, and turned to the other side. Jackson saw this as an opportunity, and slowly pulled her towards his body, his arms around her waist. He entangled his legs with hers, and laid his head on the pillow with his face by the back of her head, smelling her sweet-scented hair. He closed his eyes and deepened his breaths. Momo was with him now, and he wanted to relax.
He stopped for a few moments.
Nope, he thought to himself, even more frustrated. Really not sleepy.
He sat up and rubbed his face. He really wasn't tired. He scratched his arms and his bare back and plopped on his bed and stared at the ceiling again. He listened to his thoughts - there wasn't much, really, he never actually thought of anything too deep - but he thought of something. It was an idea. Something he never thought of doing at one in the morning, or no one probably has ever thought of doing at one in the morning. He's never done it before, and he thinks it's a great one.
I want pancakes, he thought to himself. If he couldn't sleep, he might as well eat. And pancakes was the best way to satisfy himself.
But there was one teeny, weeny little problem: he didn't know how to make pancakes.
Yeah, yeah, he thought again. Call me a loser. He could do the most amazing flips onstage, yet he couldn't figure how to make pancakes.
He scoffed to himself and looked at Momo. She was sleeping ever so peacefully, but he needed pancakes. And he knew Momo made the most awesome pancakes known to man. Or, at least, to GOT7, and probably TWICE.
He laid himself on the bed again and snaked his arms around his girlfriend. He brought his face to her right cheek, removed the hair covering her face, and kissed it. He poked her cheek softly.
"Baby," he cooed. "Baby, wake up."
Momo gave a soft moan and shifted, but continued her peaceful slumber. He started poking her cheek rather compulsively, and Momo groaned a little. She turned to him and opened one eye.
"Jackson?" She asked him, a bit confused. "What are you doing?"
Jackson laid his head on the pillow, and Momo's gaze followed him. He looked her in the eyes. "Baby, I want pancakes."
Momo closed her eyes and sighed with annoyance. "What time is it?"
"1:47 in the morning," he stated. "Pancakes."
She groaned and turned the other way again. "Jackson, it's barely two in the morning. Just go back to sleep."
"But I can't sleep," he said, hugging her waist even tighter. "I want pancakes."
"Then go make some." Momo shifted and Jackson sighed.
"But you make the best pancakes in the whole wide world, Momo-ring," said Jackson, who started kissing her cheeks.
Momo started giggling, but she wanted to sleep. "Thanks, honey, but I'm too tired to make pancakes."
"Aw." Jackson lifted himself up and jumped to the other side of the bed, so his face was now directly across Momo's. "Please make me some pancakes, jagiya." Jackson pleaded and pleaded while kissing her, but she wouldn't budge.
Finally, she said, "Jackson, no." Jackson sulked. "I'll make you pancakes in the morning, babe."
"But I want pancakes now!" Jackson whined like a kid. "Jagi, I want pancakes!" He started flicking Momo's hair bun.
"Mm, and I want to sleep." Momo shifted again and closed her eyes. "Good night."
"No, don't sleep!"
"Getting sleepier."
"No! Jagi, stop dozing off!"
"Snore-"
"Momo!"
"Too late, I'm already asleep."
"Momo-ring!" But she didn't respond after that. Jackson pouted - now he couldn't get pancakes.
Unless...he made them himself.
How hard could it be, right? He thought to himself. They're just pancakes. No big deal. I'm Jackson Wang, for crying out loud! I can make pancakes if I wanted to!
He got up and went to their kitchen. He opened a cupboard and took out a box of pancake mix. He fumbled with it and sighed a breath of relief - instructions. Thank heavens.
He got Jinyoung's apron from where it was hung and put it on himself, and proceeded to work. Wow, cooking is easy, he said to himself after finishing one pancake. I should start a career in pancake-making.
After a good thirty minutes of "figuring things out" and almost burning a finger, he came up with three beautiful pancakes - and a burnt one. He laid it on the table proudly and thought Oh, if Jinyoung can see me now.
He left the kitchen table to get a bottle of maple syrup from the pantry. When he came back, his eyes widened.
Momo was standing there, wearing one of his shirts that went all the way to her upper thighs, eating some of his pancakes.
He put his hands on his waist. "Excuse me there, little lady, but those are mine."
"I know," she replied, still eating.
"Well, stop eating them!" He was horrified.
"You did this to yourself, you woke me up," said Momo. "They're really good, babe."
"Give me those!" He went after Momo, and she started running with the plate in her hand. After a few moments, they just settled that they would share.
They ate the pancakes at the kitchen counter at two in the morning. Jackson was telling Momo a story about how Mark reacted to seeing mice inside his closet when they first moved in, and the dorm was filled with their laughter. Momo didn't find the story that funny, but the way Jackson was telling her, it uplifted her.
"He broke the closet's door?"
"Yes, the whole thing, like the hinges came off."
"How did that happen?"
"I have no idea, but you should've seen the look on his face!" Jackson started laughing his usual high-pitched laugh, and Momo started laughing, too. Soon, their laughter died out.
"What time is it?" He asked her, and she checked her phone.
"It's almost five in the morning," she said, scratching her eyes.
"You sleepy, Momo-ring?" She nodded. "Wanna cuddle?" She nodded. Jackson ran to the couch and laid down first, and open his arms to let his girlfriend in. After a few moments of entangling themselves with each other, Momo was dozing off, and Jackson whispered, "I love you, jagi," before dozing off himself.

BONUS:
Jaebum was up early, and so was Bambam. They walked in on Jackson and Momo in the living room, cuddling and fast asleep.
Bambam smiled. "Look how cute they are."
Jaebum was at the kitchen, finding it a complete mess. "Looks like they've been busy."
Bambam's dirty mind once again geared its way to the scene. "What? Hyung!"
"What?" asked Jaebum. "They made pancakes."
