Donghyuck wakes up due to the sounds of the light rain. He opens his eyes slowly, noticing there is more light in the room but gray clouds were still outside.

He looks at his side, seeing Al sitting beside him and Thea sitting beside Hyekyung.

Donghyuck gets up from the floor, massaging his neck since he fell asleep while sitting. He looks at Hyekyung, noticing that she is still asleep.

He caresses her hair, kissing her forehead as he walks towards the kitchen. He grabs the food bowl of the two pups, putting food in the bowl before putting it back to it's original place.

"Eat well, girls." He pets both of their heads as he watches the two happily eat their breakfast.

He checks the clock and it was only 6:29 am. He gets a message from his manager, saying that he can have a 3 day vacation. He smiles and thanks his manager before going back to the kitchen.

He starts to open the cabinets and check the fridge to cook for breakfast. He had plenty of options but he wants the breakfast to not be heavy but still taste delicious to lighten up Hyekyung's day today.

He searches on his phone some breakfast dishes to make someone happy and got a few choices he can make.

He puts on an apron before washing his hands and bring out all the ingredients he needs.

Hyekyung softly groans as she starts to wake up from her slumber. She opens her eyes, only hearing the drizzle of rain hitting her window.

She starts to smell food though. She sits up, rubbing her eyes as she looks at the kitchen, seeing Donghyuck just finish washing the dishes he used for cooking.

She turns her head to the side, seeing their wet clothes from yesterday hang up on the clothes rack.

Donghyuck removes the gloves before glancing at Hyekyung, seeing her awake. He smiles and wipes his hand before walking towards her.

He kneels down beside her, looking at her in the eyes.

"Feeling a bit better?" He asks softly and she nods, smiling softly as well.

"That's good, I made breakfast. Let's fill up that empty stomach of yours." He says, rubbing her belly, making her laugh.

He helps her stand up and lead her towards the table where they both sit down. Hyekyung wows when she sees the food on the table.

"This looks amazing, thank you." She asks him and Donghyuck just chuckles. She starts to eat as Donghyuck nervously watches her take bites.

"It's delicious!" Her face brightens as she takes another bite of one of the dishes he cooked. Donghyuck sighs in relief and starts to eat as well.

Breakfast was quiet but it was a bad quiet or anything, it was rather peaceful and comfortable.

Hyekyung glances at Donghyuck sho was eating along with her. A smile appears on her face before continuing to eat. Her smile was noticed by Donghyuck but he didn't ask why she was smiling, instead he just wished that she could keep that warm and beautiful smile on her face longer.

After they both finished eating, Donghyuck stacks the dirty place and bring them to the sink. He grabs the gloves but before he could wear them, he felt a tug on his arm.

"Hey, do that later and please cuddle with me..." Her voice was soft and it made Donghyuck smile. He puts down the gloves and removes his apron.

Hyekyung drags him to her room as they lay down on the bed, cuddling each other.

Donghyuck feels happy, the girl he likes finally in his embrace. He was playing with her hair as Hyekyung was starting to feel sleepy again.

"Hyuck, can you sing a song?" She requested and the boy nods, pulling her closer to him as he starts to sing 'coming home'.

Hyekyung never thought that she would feel safe in someone's arms again. People have told her that she brings warmth to other people but now, she thinks that she's the one who needs warmth and Donghyuck was giving her that.

She was feeling cold when but with Donghyuck's arms embracing her, his honey and angelic voice singing for her, his hands playing with her hair, she feels warm.

She closes her eyes, starting to feel herself get sleepy once again.

"Sleep as much as you like, 해바라기. I will be here when you wake up,"

Hyekyung opens her eyes, not expecting to be so close with Donghyuck but her face softens when he really was still there.

Donghyuck opens his eyes, smiling when he locks eyes with Hyekyung.

"You're so adorable," He said, pinching her cheeks. Hyekyung pinches his cheeks as well, saying the same thing.

Donghyuck's eyes then goes to her lips before at her eyes again. This was noticed by Hyekyung who leaned closer to his face.

Donghyuck also leans closer, their lips almost touching, that is until...

"Arf!!" They both flinched when they heard the two dogs barking. The two back away, blushing from that close kiss they both almost had.

"A-Al! T-Thea! Come on, let's go play around the house." Hyekyung stands up, her face and ears getting redder by the second.

She then runs out of the room, her two pups chasing after her. Donghyuck sighs, feeling a slight disappointment but was glad they cuddled for a few hours.

He checks the clock and it was already 12 PM. He gets up from the bed, thinking what to cook for lunch. He exits the bedroom but stops once he sees Hyekyung stacking up toilet paper rolls into the hallway.

She stacks them until it was up to Donghyuck's knee. Her two pups on Donghyuck's side.

"What are you doing?" He asks her, smiling as Hyekyung just laughs. Her warm and wide smile back on her face as she places the final roll on the top.

"Playing with the pups- come on, you two!" She said, going to his side before jumping over the toilet rolls, the two chasing her and struggles to make it pass. They both look around for easy access but just decided to jump over it.

Which was not bad but the top layer of the rolls fell. Donghyuck walks back, preparing himself to jump as well. He runs forward jumping over all the toilet paper rolls, making Hyekyung laugh.

She claps as the two dogs runs over to him, barking with joy. Donghyuck walks over to her, wrapping an arm around her waist.

He then leans closer to her, pecking her on the lips which made Hyekyung blush madly.

"I'll make lunch for the both of us, darling."
