「 2014 」

Taeyong was helping out with the school's homecoming decorations in the gymnasium. Taeyong moves the boxes full of decorations from outside the gym to inside.

"Hyekyung!" He turns his head to see that one popular foreigner in the sophomore batch.

She was with her friends, who are both freshman. He could tell due to their uniform neck ties which is different for different batches.

Hyekyung then laughs and looks at Taeyong who was still looking at her. The two made eye contact, frozen on their places as they study each other.

Taeyong snaps out of his thought and shakes his head before entering the gymnasium again with a box.

"Taeyong, help me put this up." One of his classmates said and Taeyong puts the box down, climbing the ladder carefully and help his classmate.

Hyekyung sighs as she exits the gymnasium and goes to the back of the building. She stops her tracks when she sees Taeyong there. Taeyong also notices her and stood frozen there.

"Hi..." Hyekyung shyly waves at him which made him chuckle.

"Hello, Hyekyung Dela Rosa, right?" He asked her and she nodded, walking closer to him.

"How did you know?" She asks, her voice still soft for talking to a person she doesn't know.

"You're that one popular foreigner girl in the sophomore batch." He smiles, moving and patted the seat beside him, letting her sit beside him.

She sits down and looks at the sky. The bright blue sky which doesn't have that many clouds that day. It was already spring and it was breezy, making it Hyekyung's favorite time of the year.

Taeyong looks at her side profile, finding her stunning. She radiates that warm and embracing feeling around her. He raises his hand, patting her head which made her confused.

Her face softened when Taeyong has that soft smile on his face. She looks down, smiling softly as well before looking at Taeyong.

"Spring is great, isn't it? The time of great weathers, flowers blossoming, perfect picnics!" She says as Taeyong takes his hand back, nodding.

"Do you like spring?" She asks him to which Taeyong nodded.

"I like spring but I prefer autumn where the leaves are falling from the trees, it gets a bit more windy and the time where winter is right around the corner." He smiles,

"They're both good seasons~" She says and then there was silence again.

The silence has awkwardness but it was unbothering for them. They kind of like the silence.

"Hyekyung! Kyungie, where are you? Hyekyu-" They heard a feminine voice from the corner and turn their gazes to see one of Hyekyung's friends, Chaerim.

"I'm sorry, am I bothering somethi-"

"No, no~ it's okay. Why were you looking for me?" She asks and Chaerim starts to look nervous, seeing Taeyong with Hyekyung since he knows Taeyong is popular among the juniors and seniors.

"We need your help for the painting of the props." Chaerim says, hiding her shaking hands on her back.

"I'll be there." Hyekyung smiles and Chaerim nods before running away from that place.

"Your friend is weird." Taeyong says, chuckling and Hyekyung just laughs.

"They're already very weird." She stands up and looks at Taeyong.

"I'll see you around?" She asks and Taeyong smiles widely, nodding.

She then starts to walk away but stops before she disappears from his sight.

"Is there something wrong?" He asks her and she nods.

"I don't know your name." She said and he just chuckles which was unnoticed by her.

"Lee Taeyong, a junior." He said and she smiles, saying bye to him before walking away.

Taeyong closes his eyes, facing the sky as he remembers her smile which her most attractive feature. He felt captivated by her sweet and warm smile.

He felt hot staying beside her since she was stunning for him. He places his hand on his heart, feeling it beat quickly.

"Your sudden effect on me.."

Hyekyung listens to music as she looks for her homecoming dress. Homecoming is in 2 days yet she doesn't have an outfit yet.

She bites her lip, looking around the 4th shop she went in for today. She just can't find something she likes or suits her for homecoming.

"Looking for a homecoming dress, madam?" She turns her head to see Taeyong, wearing the shop's employees uniform. Her eyes widened, seeing Taeyong in the uniform.

"You work here?" She asks to which Taeyong just chuckles and nods,

"Yes, I do. Why? Surprised?" He asks her and she just laughs.

"Very surprised." She said and they both just laugh.

"Looking for a dress though for homecoming?" He asks and she nods, smirking.

"Any recommendations then, Mr. Lee?" She asks him and he nodded, telling her to follow him.

They made it to one section of the shop and Hyekyung's eyes widened when she sees a lot of formal dresses, different kinds of dresses.

"You can find one here and maybe, I can help you out. What kind of dress are you looking for?" Taeyong asks, looking at her as the girl just starts to look around.

"Hmm- I'm not quite sure actually... I just want to find one that suits me." She laughs and Taeyong nods.

"Well, I don't want to sound like a creep or anything but if there's anything I noticed about what you're wearing today, fitted dresses would look very good on you." Taeyong says, walking to one area of the section, looking for dresses.

Hyekyung just stands there, her cheeks becoming red as she also starts looking for a dress she could wear.

Taeyong spotted a red dress and pull it out from the rack and checks it out.

It's a red off shoulder mermaid dress. The ruffles swirls around the skirt, ending the ruffle at the ankle and the other side was open.

It has a red belt on the bodice and it has a ruffle circulating around the top part of the bodice. The sleeves are are softly puffed above the wrist area.

Taeyong looks at Hyekyung before envisioning her in this dress. He then smiles and calls over Hyekyung.

"How does this look?" Taeyong asks, Hyekyung walking towards him and wows at the dress he picks.

"This looks beautiful-" Before she continues, Taeyong gives her the dress and let her try it on.

"Try it then!!" He pushes her to the changing room to the side.

He sighs, taking a deep breathe at how excited he got there for a minute. He shakes his head, covering his red face.

Hyekyung exits the changing room, showing Taeyong how the dress looks on her.

He blushes at how it hugs her figure really well.

"H-how does it look? I really like it." She looks at the mirror and Taeyong could feel his ears getting red.

"It looks amazing on you, you should totally get it." Taeyong smiles, wanting to see her at the homecoming in that dress.

Hyekyung chuckles, her cheeks getting red when she sees Taeyong staring at her.

"T-thank you for helping me then."
