Lavender panted heavily with her hands on her knees as she slouched down. Her chest rose and fell frantically as Haven laid down next to her on her back. Haven's arms were spread out and her eyes were shut. Lavender laid down next to her with her head resting on Haven's arm. Haven's eyes flickered open and a large grin creeped onto her face at the sight of Lavender.

Jacob and Rudy held each other up some how as they gasped for air. Chrissy leaned onto Rudy for support and Rudy's arm snaked around her curved waist, holding her up.

Nova walked up to Jasper and Jasper puller her into his chest. They hugged each other tightly and Jasper rested his chin on Nova's head because of the drastic height difference. Nova's cheek was pressed against his chest right where his heart beat as the sounds of his heart racing rapidly soothed her. 

"And now we lost two more. 4 in 24 hours," Nova stated, still wrapped up with Jasper.

"Yeah, no shit," Jacob said with his mouth open still struggling to collet air.

Nova rolled her eyes as Lavender and Haven giggled. Chrissy just watched everyone silently. 

"Day two. Six  More to go," Jacob said.

"Five," Nova correct silently. Jasper snickered into Nova's brown hair.

Haven's face turned to the left to face Lavender who's head was still on her arm. They both smiled as their eyes connected. "Hi," Lavender whispered.

"Hey," Haven whispered back. They both leaned in with their eyes shut as their lips collided, sparks flying everywhere. Lavender put a hand on Haven's cheek as Haven wrapped an arm around Lavender's waist to pull her up onto her chest. Lavender laid on top of Haven in the grass as they kissed passionately.

Jasper groaned loudly. "Get a room!" He exclaimed with Nova still in his arms. 

They broke apart and giggled, leaning in for another one.

In the evening, Jacob, Rudy and Chrissy shared Rudy's sleeping bag that they sat on together. Jasper and Nova were still latched onto each other, Jasper's arm draped around her shoulder protectively. Lavender was sitting in between Haven's legs, leaned back against her stomach as haven played with her dirty blond locks. 

They cleaned up the dead bodies of their friends and Vickie's blood off the couch. They Demo-Dog was gone but not dead, no one really sure whether it would show up or not. 

"If that dog comes we have to blow the shit out of it!" Jacob exclaimed.

Jasper pointed at Jacob and blew him a kiss. "I knew you had some logic in that stupid brain of yours!"

Chrissy giggled and twirled a piece of her blond hair around her finger. 

"There's probably some lighters or matches around here, Victor was a physio," Jacob said as Jasper gave him a dirty look. 

"Hey, watch it!" Jasper warned.

"Sorry," Jacob mumbled. 

"And gasoline," Chrissy added.

"And a fire extinguisher," Nova continued.

"And hair ties," Haven said. When everyone went silent and stared at her she looked up. "What? I need to tie Lav's hair." 

Lavender raised her right arm where a black elastic was held on her wrist. Haven took it and tied the end of one of the French braids she made. 

"What if the Demo-dog doesn't come back?" Lavender asked.

"Then even better. It already killed Adelaide and Vickie," Jasper answered.

"And Vecna?" Nova questioned.

"Well...we don't know. If he get's another one of us, how will we stop him?"

"What did Max do?"

"She waited until the last moment and then trick him. We light him up," Chrissy answered.

"Well, we'll have to see if he gets a next victim. And whether it's one of us," Rudy said.
