The lady picked up the empty meal tray and looked at the girl standing by the window as she spoke.

"You must be very happy that you are getting discharged today."

She slowly averted her gaze from the two  boys standing at the hospital entrance and turned to face the woman. She didn't say anything, just smiled at her. The lady moved towards her direction and gave an encouraging pat on the shoulder.

"Don't worry too much. Think of it as the beginning of a new chapter in your life." She reassured her before leaving the room. The girl sat on the bed while glancing around as she recalled the memories of the past weeks she had spent in this particular room.

She hated it.

And only she knew. How much she hated this room. This bed. These white sheets.
This hospital. Everyone. Everything.

So why was she so nervous when she was finally leaving this place? She was going home.

"Home…" She murmured. Only then the door opened and a lady in blue scrubs appeared with a clipboard in her hand.

"All formalities have been completed. You are free to leave this room now. Your family is waiting outside." She announced and kept the door open, waiting for her to leave. The girl glanced at the room for the last time before making her way outside.

It all felt really weird.

She walked past people but could not make eye contact with anyone.

"Hyejin." A manly voice called out for her. She looked at the tall figure in front of her. Many days had passed since she last met him. But she still remembers the day when he first interrogated her about the accident and she gave the same answer to all his questions.

She do not know. She do not remember.

"I hope you haven't forgotten about me." He beamed at her as she nodded in response.

Thankfully he did not ask about his name as she had completely forgotten what it was. During her stay in the hospital, she got the idea that this detective is her husband's friend, but still she expected that he would come to pick her up and not his friend. He noticed her eyes looking for someone else.
"He's waiting in the car." Said the man giving her a bouquet of daisies.

"Thank you." She hesitated a little but accepted and followed him along. Soon they came out of the hospital and a boy was waiting outside in the car. He saw them approaching him so he stepped out of the car.

"Why didn't you come inside the hospital to get me?" She blurted out before giving him a hug. She could feel his warmth but still felt cold because he never placed his hands on her back, in return.

"It takes a lot of time to park a car, so I thought it's better to wait outside." He broke the hug and opened the rear door of the car.
"You must be tired. Get in and rest." She did as he told her to. His friend took his leave saying that he had some work left and they drove off.

He didn't say anything all the way, neither did she.

And when the cars finally stopped she knew they had reached home. She got down from the car and followed him to the compartment on the second floor of the building. He opened the door as she entered first. That place was not big for two people, but it would have been big for a single person so she felt relieved somehow.

He led her to the room and told her to take some rest. She lay down in bed as he covered her with a blanket before turning towards the door but her slender fingers grabbed his wrist and stopped him at his position.

"Won't you stay by my side?" Asked the girl.

"Sorry we still haven't finished recording the song." He gently removed her hand and tucked it back inside the blanket. "If you feel hungry after sleeping, then heat the food in the fridge and eat it. The kitchen is on the right and don't wait for me, I will be late." He left the room as she closed her eyes and remembered the boys whom she had seen through the window. They were arguing over something.

'What were you so upset about, Jungkook?'

She thought to herself.
