After a year...

Poppy's POV

It has been a year since we saved the Trolls from Ivory's evil plans. And since then, we have gotten back our freedom and happiness.

Today is the 21st anniversary where King Peppy saves the Trolls from the Bergens. And we are having a great party!

"Everyone, today is the celebration where King Peppy saved us from the Bergens, the creatures that are once sad but now they had found true happiness. And tonight is a big night because today is the twenty-first anniversary! More glitter!!!!" I shouted. DJ played the music, everyone started to dance while Guy Diamond started to throw glitter.

While everyone was distracted, Branch called me.

"Hey, Poppy."

"Oh hi Branch! What is it?" I asked.

"Come with me." He clasped my arm and we started to walk

I giggled and said, "Where are we going?"

"It's a secret!" He said. "By the way..." He began to put a blindfold on me.

"Branch!"

He continued to pull me wherever we're going...

"Okay, here we are."

He removed my blindfold and saw a beautiful scenery with full of stars above us...

"Woah... Branch, this is so amazing!" I said. We sat on the ground and watched the stars twinkle and shine.

I felt his warm arms lay on my shoulders and hugged me.

"I love you, Poppy." He whispered.

"I love you too, Branch." I answered with a smile.

Branch's POV

"I love you too, Branch." Poppy answered with a smile. Hearing her say those words makes me feel so joyful.

I unraveled my arms and stared at her beautiful eyes.

"Hey Branchie, let's run to the fields!"

I didn't answered. I just stared and smiled at her.

Poppy ran freely to the beautiful fields while I followed her. I walked and gazed at her beautiful smile.

"Branchie look, fireflies!" She shouted.

She tries to catch a firefly but it still flies away. She then jumped and caught the glowing bug.

"Whoa... It's so beautiful..." She said and stared at its light. "Look, Branch. I got one!"

I smiled and still stared at her.

"Goodbye, firefly!" She said after setting the firefly free. "Hey, let's lay down and watch the sky."

"Okay." We layed down at the grassfields and stared at the beautiful night sky...

"Poppy?"

"Yeah?" She answered, still looking at the stars.

"Try to count the stars..." I said.

"What?" She giggled. "There are like billions of them. It's impossible to count them all."

"Yes. It's impossible as to explain how much I love you..." I answered.

Poppy look at me and smiled. "That's so sweet..."

Then I told her a poem...

"The skies may stop turning blue,

But I will never stop loving you.

The stars may stop shining tomorrow,

But I will never stop shielding you from sorrow.

The sun may stop shining one fine day,

But I will always keep your troubles at bay.

The earth may stop rotating on its axis,

But I will never let a day pass without giving you a kiss.

I love you, Poppy,

And I will always be."

She couldn't look straight into my eyes. But she gave a sweet smile and was blushed.

I raised Poppy up and I kneeled down on her front. Then I held her hand and began to talk gently. "I fell in love with you the day I saw you. I want to share every moment of my life with you, I will take care of you and I will never make you cry. I promise to never leave you alone. I'll be your safe haven, your safety net, and someone you can always trust. There are many ways to be happy in this life, but all I really need is you. You deserve the very best, someone who will support you without limits, let you grow without borders, and love you without end. Poppy, will you let me be the one? Are you willing to start a family...with me?"

Poppy was very surprised and was very blushed. Still, I continued. I grabbed a little box in my hair, opened it and showed the leaf ring I made.

"Will you marry me?"

Poppy shed tears of joy and held my cheeks.

"Yes!"

It made me so happy when I heard her said that word.

"Yes...yes! I love you so much!" I began to carry her and spun her around.

Poppy giggled and she smiled at me.

I get the ring from the box and wore it on Poppy's finger.

"I love you, Branch." Poppy said.

"I love you too, my fiancée." I said that made Poppy giggle.

We began to stare at each others eyes. Then Poppy pulled my vest and gave me a sweet kiss.

I closed my eyes and wrapped my arms her waist. Then I felt her warm gentle arms layed on my shoulders. This feeling I'm encountering right now, is the most amazing feeling I've ever had.

"Oh hey–ohh..." Guy Diamond said with the Snack Pack after seeing us kissing.

Poppy and I broke the kiss and said, "Shh."

"Ooooh...okay!" They grinned and zipped their mouths.

I covered ourselves using my hair so we can have our privacy. I won't let anyone disturb our moment this time.

"Now?" Poppy asked and smirked.

I raised my eyebrow and smirked. Then she held my cheek and we continued our kiss.

This is one of my most fantastic moments in my life. If only we could stay like this forever...

When I think about her, I know that no one else will ever hold my heart the way she does. She's the only one who is inside my heart. I will never leave her behind. I'll always be there in every struggle she would face. I love her so much.

No words can express how happy I am, now that I know that I will be marrying the girl who made my life complete. And now I realized, she's the missing piece.
