'Finally, nightfall.' You told yourself as you went over to your room. Window shut, door closed and curtains closed, you made sure no one was around to even get a glimpse while you were changing into your suit. You were all set in less than 4 minutes. The only thing that was missing or that you had left to put on was the mask. Can't have anyone knowing who you are right?

Going out as Sparrow and feeling the cool breeze hit you against your face as it passed by was a feeling you'll never miss. You always loved feeling that rush while outside at night doing what you do best. Observing and helping those in need of assistance.

Quiet and alone was what you thought would've been better since you didn't want to endanger anyone else if they were to accompany you. Heading out, up the fire escape and on top of the rooftop of your apartment building, you squat down at the corner edge of the building; observing. You loved to observe first to see if anything or anyone was in need.

Nothing yet. So you stood up and jumped across to the building next door then to the other till you were near the big intersection. Squatting back down, you listened then heard a woman in dire need of assistance. She was cornered at a dark alleyway as three men were trying to get to her.

"Someone! Please!" She yelled and you jumped down from the roof right behind the men. "Excuse me? But did anyone of you lose your car keys?" Was what you said trying to make them look at you. Which successfully worked because now you had all of their attention.

"Miss, go." I told her as I made a passage for her to leave safely. The woman left running but that was before she thanked you. "Now why don't you boys just run along and you won't need to get hurt."

"And why would we do that? There 3 of is and one of you." One of the men in front walking towards you had mentioned. "I suppose you are right." You said and gave a fake frown.

Right at that moment, one lunged at you but you acted quick as made him see his worst fear. Another grabbed your arm and with that you saw a nearby vine growing making it wrap around the arm that he was using to hold you. After doing that, you kicked him causing his to stumble back. Before you can move to the third and last one, he grabbed you from behind with his arms holding down yours.

You grunted trying to break free of the grip when you pushed him back into a wall. He hit his back and a little of his head but got more angry. He threw you to the ground next to him and pulled out a knife from his side holster.

In the background you can hear what sounds like 'thwip' noises from afar getting closer to the alleyway. A glimpse of someone flying through the air wearing red and blue caught your eye for a second. "Nope. This one is mine." You said in a low voice then right as the man went to attack, you phased into the wall and phased back out but right behind him. Taking the small advantage, you elbowed the back of his head making him fall unconscious.

The person who you had gotten a glimpse of earlier landed swiftly behind you. "Woah." Is what they said making you face them. "Who are you?" He asked

"Wouldn't you like to know." You replied through your mask and noticed the webbing from his hands. Getting an idea, you told him. "Mind webbing them up for me?" The person just nodded their head as he started then asked about the guy who looked scared.

"Don't worry about that. It'll fade after 25 minutes. He'll be fine." You mentioned as you looked at the now webbed up men near the wall. "Oh, call the cops too. These men where trying to hurt an innocent woman." With that, you turned to leave but he tried to stop you. "Hey wait." You could hear but you just looked at him and phased into the wall.

'He or whoever they are must be shocked because I saw the way he looked as I phased into the wall.' You thought to yourself which made you smile underneath the mask. Going through the wall, you ended up at the other side which was another alleyway. Looking around, you noticed a fire escape. "Awesome. Just my luck." You muttered and ran towards then up the stairs.

Making it to the top of the roof, you scanned your eyes at your surroundings to see if anyone was around. Luckily no one was and you were just two apartment buildings away from your own. The time read 9:54pm and you usually went to bed around 10:30pm to get a good nights rest. Sometimes if you felt like it, you'd stay out a while longer and end up going to bed at 11:40pm.

Carefully and silently, you jumped over at the top of the rooftops of the apartment buildings on your way back. Making to your own, you made it down the fire escape and opened up your window; sliding right back in before locking it again.

As you closed your curtains and started to remove your suit once again along with your mask, your phone dinged. Now it's not the casual phone you always had on you for everyday use, but another one that your dad had given you. Looked like a burner phone so no one would be able to track it. The phone had only a couple of contacts.

The contacts being (the names you have them on the phone): American Eagle, Uncle Bork, Birdy (Sam), Bear (Clint), Smiley (Wanda) and Orange Slices (Scott). Pulling the phone out from the hidden passage under your floorboards, you checked the phone and saw a message from your dad.

American Eagle 🦅:
Hey Sweetheart. I'm able to pass by tomorrow to see you just for a few minutes. I'm with Buck and he says hi. Now Sam's arguing over a bag of chips. I'll see you soon.

You couldn't help but laugh at the situation he had to deal with. Sam and Bucky were always bickering about something. It can be about anything. They'll always just bicker, but at the end they were friends. "Tomorrow then Dad." You muttered under your breath as you got a snack from the kitchen along with a drink. After that you would just watch some tv before falling asleep.
