House Blackwood is one of the most ancient houses of the Riverlands, with a long and storied history. It is said they are decendants of the first men, and carry a strong connection to the old gods. Their lady, Basalia, rose to heir at only three and ten, taking after her father when he died. At first, many of house Blackwood didnt agree with this standing, since Basalia was known for her outlandish behaviour. But with the guidance of her uncle, cousin Jahaena and handmaiden Lyria, she has been able to fulfil her noble duties.

When House Blackwood is summoned to King's Landing, Basalia and Lyria find themselves in the middle of a brewing war. Both proclaimed heirs Rhaenyra and Aegon Targaryen fighting for the throne.

What will happen when true love intervines? What sides will they choose? Will they make it out alive?

With the houses mixing, the Targaryen's find that they're not the only radicals in Westeros. They will soon be aware that this is where dragons go to die.
