Surrounded by complete idiots

"Come on Loraaaaaaa, please spare me some Gallons! I need them" My brother Alex was literally on his knees begging, scooting towards me like he was some dog, and his lips were in full pout mode, hand were clenched together tightly as if we was summoning some type of magic. He does this every year, like clock work. I couldn't imagine what ridiculous thing he did, the year hasn't even started her. "What happened to yours?" I asked suspiciously eyeing him, he awkwardly laughed, that was never a good sign. Across, Mattheo and his band of delinquent gremlins snorted into their sleeves. Great.

I yanked Alex by his arm before he could escape my grasp, "what. Did. You. Do?" He shook his head and made a big show pretending to zip his lips shut and threw away this imaginary key like what he was storing are these oh so valuable secret. "Lora-ow! That's my arm!" He whined, I tightened my grip awaiting for him to drag the truth out of his mouth, when Mattheo suddenly stepped in. He reached forward and pulled my hand away from Alex arm. "If you must know." He said dramatically. "He lost a bet, ivory." Behind him, Lorenzo and Theodore immediately broke into this weezy laughter, Alex had sent them an aggressive death glare. "Are you kidding me?!" I turned back to Alex, "You gambled off your entire supply of Galleons for a stupid bet!" He shrugged, "it was only kind of a big bet." He muttered, avoiding all eye contact. My anger took ahold of me, I reached over and pinched his ear,

"Lora-Ow! you are hurting me!" He said, So Naturally I punched harder. "I told you-multiple times! Don't be peer pressured by your friends to do something stupid?! And what do you do? You still do it!" That's when the sweet chime of the trolley lady bell rang through the corridors, cutting the chaos. "Anything for the trolley, dears?" She asked cheerfully, Theodore fished out some galleons (he so clearly hadn't lost his) and requested a drink. She passed it to him, and he causally tossed it to Alex, who was still nursing to his pinched ear. "You should put that on there." Theodore grinned, "It turning bright red." Alex muttered a thank you and pressed the cold drink to his, sulking. I turned to these gremlins, "So..what exactly was this big brilliant bet?"

They glanced at each other, barely holding it together. Lorenzo nudged Theodore, who grinned. "We dared him to sneak some enchanted spiders into Ron Weasley bags." My jaw dropped. I stared at Alex who was trying so hard to disappear through the wall. "You did what?!" Of course, peer pressured at its finest. "Well he did it."Lorenzo added, chuckling. "I mean it's Alex, you could dare him to juggle some fairies blindfolded if you wanted too."
"There was a slight minor misconception." Theodore added, cracking up, "oh great." I said flatly. "Define this slight minor misconception."

"He put them in Hermione Granger trunk by accident," Lorenzo busted out laughing, "She opened it, screamed out bloody murder, and Ron-we swear he almost cried." They all erupted in laughter like what they did was so hilarious everyone expected Alex. Who was hiding behind his soda in shame. "And you thought this dare was worth all your allowance?!" He peeked out from his soda with a guilty smile. "In my defense I thought it was Ron's trunk." Mattheo shrugged, "if only it was Potter's bag. He wouldn't appreciated the effort." I let out a scoff.

"I mean it isn't as bad as our last prank." Mattheo said. I rolled my eyes, "You mean the one where you dude Tristan's hair blue and spelled him into wearing a tutu in front of the entire Slytherin common room? That isn't bad to you?" Alex groaned and smacked Mattheo in the stomach. "What the he ll, Alex?" He nodded subtly toward me. Right, because he believed the propaganda Mattheo and the gremlin gang spread about Tristian. That he is some manipulative snake instead of actually how much of a good person he is. Alex desperately wanted in so bad that he never questioned it.

"I don't even understand why you all hate Tristian so much," I muttered, Theodore lit up a cigarette holding it loosely between his lips, "Seriously, the guy hasn't done anything toward you." Mattheo scoffed, like the idea of forgiving Tristian was an ill thought. Lorenzo meanwhile was showing jelly beans in his mouth to contribute. Mattheo had leaned closer, twirling a strand of my hair. "Seems like ivory has a little crush on Erdos." That. That right there is why I can't standing being around Mattheo's friends. They treat everything like a joke. "Whatever," I snapped, yanking my hair back. "Leave my sister alone, Mattheo." Alex whined. Mattheo put his hands up in surrender, then slumped back in his seat. Dramatic much.

The train chugged along before finally screeching to our stop at the station near school. Everyone scrambled out, eager to stretch and smell the actually outside air. "Now, boys go get my stuff." I ordered. They all blinked at me like I hadn't spoke English. "Yeah, I don't think so, Ivory." Mattheo said, folding his arms like he was some hero. I frowned, and he smirked with the annoying look on his eyes. "Fine, Fine." He sighed dramatically. "We'll go get your luggage, Princess Ivory." He had tossed that title at me like it burnt his tongue. The other boys groaned as they shoved him forward like a punishment. "You suck, man." Lorenzo muttered.

As they dragged themselves along to get the luggage where I shamelessly overpack, I felt a pair of warm hands cover my eyes. "Guess who it is, Flower." A soft voice whispered. I couldn't help the smile that tugged at my lip. "Let me guess. It's you, Golden boy." He spun me around gently, his face was glowing with the annoying perfection all over his face. "Ding." He whispered. Just wow. This little sprinkle of heaven comes with its secrets though. Alex, poor thing oblivious to the fact that Tristian and I have been dating since the start of the summer. Mostly, because if I told him he turn it into national school news that would spread before lunch. And Tristian? Confrontation is his personal he ll. "It's been a while." He said, brushing a strand of my hair behind my ear.

"You saw me last week. At Tara's never-ending sleepover." He rolled his eyes before never intercepted by two girl who are pretty much my best friends. "Alora! Oh my Merlin. I missed you so much!" Sam squealed squeezing me like I was made out of clouds. Tara, every walking chaos shoved Tristan aside like he was trash. "Tristan, let the girl breathe. You act like she is made out of glass." Tristan rolled his eyes again. (He does that a lot). Only Tara and Sam know about us. Tara, because she is Tristian sibling and could sniff out any secret in a five mile radius. Sam, she would've figured out if I just looked at him in a certain ways "Come on Alora, Ride with us." Tara pleaded. "Leave Alex. I'm sure he'll be fine on his." I was going to say yes-because obviously then I hear a laugh.

"Aww, don't tell me you're going to leave with them, Ivory." The voiced called out, slick with fake innocence. I turned around and of course, Mattheo was standing with a plastered smirk, holding a stack of my book like a trophy. His signature smirk that was plastered along his face like he was playing a game that even I didn't know I was playing. "Is that such a problem, Riddle?" Tristian stepped forward, eyes sharp almost dagging them into Mattheo. "Yeah, actually it kinda is Erdos." He said, saying Tristian last name like it had some bad aftertaste. "You see, Princesses Ivory here. Asked us to grab her luggage and we loaded it already in our carriage. Sooo." He gave a simple shrug. "I really don't know what to tell you. Maybe ask the royal baggage committee." Tristian jaw clenched, I stepped in before more words were spat, I think it way too early to start bloodshed we haven't even gotten into the castle.

Mattheo turned his smirk to me, all charm and full of victory. "Now we should get going, Ivory. Don't want your big brother to send out a watch party, do we?" Oh please Alex wouldn't even notice if I was gone or not. But unfortunately, he was right they did have my stuff. And the idea of Mattheo and Tristian getting into over suitcases? Not worth it. "I'll see you in the castle," I told Tristan soft and apologetic. His eyes met mine in the moment, just a little too long then we are supposed too. He nodded and let me be on my way. I turned and walked away with Mattheo, who couldn't help himself. "Well aren't you just a good girl." He teased, shooting me a smirk. I rolled my eyes and in response took a book flipping through pages trying to block him out.

"Mind if I read one of these?" He asked, I paused mid-page even though I wasn't reading anything and looked at him. "You...read?" He nodded. "Only when I'm bored or if I need to seduce a book nerd." He winked, I returned a deadpan stare. "If it makes you stop talking then yes. Read the whole thing twice." He reached his hand out like gentleman which was weird but I took it anyway and he helped get in the carriage.

Honestly? Let me graduate already. Preferably without any stupid love triangle or some sort homicide that happens on the common room.
