I kid you not my TOE got stuck in a tap last night A TAP. At some point I considered chopping off the damn thing.

{Rui POV}
"Amazing! I found a decent sized demon I can easily kill!" I turned away from the boy to see an immature demon slayer emerging from the wood.
How annoying.
"I'll just chop off your head then go back down the mountain!" He exclaimed stupidly, I narrowed my eyes and sent my webs to slash him into pieces.
A gasp was heard from my side as I turned back to him.
His two toned eyes were wide and fear ridden, hands trembling as he tried to steady his grip upon his sword.
"What's your name?" I asked him, playing with the webs in between my fingers.
"Tanjiro Kamado!" He yelled, pointing his sword towards me. How cute.
"I've got an offer for you Tanjiro" I spoke, walking closer to him, making him step back in fear as I smiled softly.
"I have no intention in making offers with demons" he hissed, slitted eyes glowing brightly. They stood out beautifully amongst the snow covered surroundings, so vivid and pure that they were enchanting
"Aren't you a demon?" I pointed towards his eyes then mouth, he instantly froze and I could see the look or regret sweep across his face.
"I'm no demon like you!" was all he said before lunging towards me, unleashing an attack I easily deflected with a string of webs; slicing his sword in half.
So pathetic it's almost adorable.
{third person POV}
"Will you listen to my deal now?" Rui asked, staring at the horrified demon slayer with his broken sword.
Tanjiro said nothing and simply looked fearfully towards Rui, his mind desperately running wild with how he could defeat him. His hands began to shiver in the cold, snow falling from the dull sky once more.
Rui watched peacefully as Tanjiro kneeled in the ever growing snow, graceful flakes of frost carefully seating themselves on the strands of his dark hair, coating his skin in a thin layer of dampness as his chubby cheeks became red from the cold.
He looked so very euphoric.
Even the simplicity of Tanjiro's beauty made Rui's need for love ache.
He simply had to have him.
Some would see Rui to be bewitched; but he called it love. His own twisted love that is. For there is an emptiness in the freedoms of being alone and the liberty of being caught in the divine spell.
He was stuck in his own cursed loop. The obsessive need for a family and his own special person was so intense he could feel himself growing more agitated the longer Tanjiro sat there unwilling.
The way the snow caressed his pale skin, how his warm clothes hugged his exhausted body, the way in which the dull trees casted its dim shadows upon his perfect face.
Rui wanted to be the one to do these things.
Many would feel sorrow for the spider boy, but then again. Others felt no remorse for him. His tragic past proving the cause of his actions when being a demon.
He was almost in a grey area. So stuck in this loop it physically pained him, to have to carry on.
The classic description for love would be something along the lines of; Love is sweet, yet more as fresh fruit than candy or confectionary. Love is colourful, yet more as summer blooms than the neon lights of frenetic city streets. Love is steady and forgiving, yet more as the wise mother than the servant in chains.
This wasn't the case for Rui though, his love was distorted and driven by a controlling persona.
"Get up Tanjiro. Get up" Rui repeated, knowing the boy was planning another attack.
Tanjiro faked being obedient and got up slowly, secretly holding his broken sword behind his back and he steadied his breathing.
"Closer" he demanded, outstretched his hand.
Tanjiro shuffled a little forward till he was close enough to execute his attack. 'That's it the opening thread!' He yelled internally, whipping out his sword and propelling himself forward.
Rui rolled his eyes and sent out his webs, breaking the 'opening thread' as he caught Tanjiro's wrists in the webs; making his body jerk upwards as he was held in the air with only his toes reaching the floor.
Tanjiro hissed in pain as they dug into his arms the more he moved; making him grit his sharp teeth in annoyance and agony.
"Look at you, so careless" Rui smiled, taking his nail and making a long scratch down Tanjiro's cheek.
The boy yanked his head away and used his legs to deliver a harsh kick to Rui's chest; sending him hurdling back into the snow.
However, Tanjiro was still suspended by his wrists.
"Now now, being disobedient I see?" Rui spike lowly, brushing off the snow from his clothing as he approached the boy again.
Tanjiro narrowed his eyes as considered kicking Rui again before he spoke up "become a part of my family Tanjiro. Be mine."
Tanjiro stood dumbfounded for a second before talking "this isn't a family, it's forged. I smell no love at all between you"
Rui scoffed and tightened the webs; making blood slowly deep down his arms.
"I will not" Tanjiro hissed, holding back his grunts of pain as the webs slowly got deeper.
A sigh escaped Rui's mouth as he grabbed Tanjiro's face roughly, watching his cheeks squish together cutely.
"Your unique Tanjiro, if you won't be mine by choice. I'll have to take you by force. It's you're choice really" he established, turning Tanjiro's head to the side while still holding his face.
Getting uncomfortable with the contact, Tanjiro yanked his head back and bit Rui's finger deeply; drawing a substantial amount of blood to make the spider boy recoil in agony.
"Fine, have it your way" Rui grunted dominantly, putting resistance on the webs to force Tanjiro to follow behind him as he started walking.
"I'll make you look like a part of our family first" the demon spoke, making sure to keep his eyes on Tanjiro as they walked back to his house.
Out of nowhere, Tanjiro sat down.
He simply refused to move.
"Hurry up"
"Nope"
"I'll slice you're head off Tanjiro"
"I dare you"
Rui raised an eyebrow "seriously?"
Tanjiro mumbled and shifted the box off his back whilst still sitting down.
"Nezuko do you think you could burn these webs real quick?" He whispered, gently knocking on the door.
Just as Nezuko peeked her head out the box, the sound of quiet footsteps caught Tanjiro's attention. They were coming at an alarming pace, putting him on alert.
'Wait that smell... I recognise it. Giyuu-san!' Tanjiro thought gleefully, watching as the water pillar seemingly emerged from the woods and cut off the webs with ease.
"Welll done your still alive Tanjiro" Giyuu complimented before easily slicing off poor Rui's neck with a single movement.
Tanjiro watched sadly as the boy slowly disappeared; giving him a sympathetic smile Tanjiro placed his hand atop Rui's, making a quick prayer for the boy before joining Giyuu.
Hot tears slowly glided down his white face as his body faded away from existence. Never to be remembered again. But at least now he was happy. Happy with his family somewhere better than this life.
"Thanks for saving me Giyuu-san!" Tanjiro beamed, the cuts in his neck and wrists already healed.
Giyuu looked away with a slightly reddened face and walked towards where he left Inosuke.
"Tanjiro Uzui wants to speak to you. I don't know why"
