Death's Pyramid

Out of the blue, the Jedi receive a transmission containing an outdated Jedi distress code that's been dormant for 2,000 years. You, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Ahsoka Tano are dispatched to the Chrelythiumn system, where the transmission was detected, to investigate.

In the cockpit of the Republic cruiser, you sit beside Anakin, your gaze lost in the starless void of space, an endless tapestry of black punctuated only by the distant glow of planetary bodies. The weight of the unknown settles heavily on your shoulders. Obi-Wan, seated just behind you, rests a hand on his beard, contemplating the strange circumstances that have led you all here. "Hmm, strange," he murmurs, his voice barely breaking the stillness. "We should have seen Rex here."

Ahsoka shifts in her seat, her eyes flickering with worry. "Do you think he didn't receive the orders?" she asks, glancing from Anakin to you, her brow furrowing.

Anakin shakes his head with a decisiveness that echoes in his words. "Impossible. Rex was with us. He wouldn't have left his post." His confidence hangs in the air, but a hint of doubt tugs at the corners of your mind.

He presses his commlink, the familiar hiss of static crackling to life. "Captain, are you at the rendezvous point?" The urgency in his voice is palpable.

Moments later, Rex's voice cuts through the comms, strained and urgent. "Yes, General, we are. Are you not here?"

A flicker of alarm passes between you and Anakin, your hearts racing at the revelation. "We are," Anakin replies, his tone betraying a hint of concern.

But before he can continue, Rex's voice quakes with tension. "We do not see you, General." The words hang ominously in the air, heavy with unspoken gravity.

Without warning, the ship begins to beep and tremble violently, an alarming shake that jolts you from your thoughts. You grab your head in alarm as the turbulence escalates, a chaotic storm in the confines of the cockpit.

"Hold on!" Anakin shouts, his grip tightening around the yoke, determination etched into every line of his face. "Obi-Wan, tend to her!"

Obi-Wan moves swiftly, his presence exuding calm even amidst the chaos. He guides you gently out of the copilot chair and onto a bunk bed, the world around you twisting and turning as your vision blurs. Darkness swirls, and disorienting images flash before your eyesโ€” a man cloaked in dark robes, another with white hair that gleams eerily in the shadows, and a girl, her hair a vivid shade of green that burns into your memory. Death and despair creep in like tendrils of smoke, and suddenly, you find yourself standing over a body, your own fingers stained with crimson. Blood drips from your lips, a grotesque reflection of torment and loss.

A scream escapes your throat, piercing the air, and Obi-Wan's face shifts from focus to alarm, etched with concern. Seeing you in distress stirs something deep within him, an instinct to protect. "Easy now," he murmurs, his voice wrapping around you like a comforting blanket.

His hand finds your temples, and you feel the soothing warmth of his Force energy flow into you, seeking to calm the chaos within. Your mind, once a storm, begins to settle as Obi-Wan's presence soothes your troubled thoughts, dispelling the nightmarish visions that had overtaken you.

Gradually, you relax, sinking into him, your erratic heartbeat steadying with every moment you're anchored to his familiar presence. "What happened?" you whisper, your voice shaky but laced with a growing warmth from the comfort of his reassurance.

"Visions..." you murmur, searching for clarity amidst the lingering disquiet. "There's something... something is not right here." You clutch the edge of the bunk, willing yourself to grasp the fragments of what you have seen.

Obi-Wan's expression shifts, a cocktail of concern and determination igniting in his eyes. "We will figure this out," he assures you, an unwavering promise wrapped in the strength of the Force, a light in the encroaching darkness.

With Anakin managing the ship amidst the turbulence, and Ahsoka looking on with concern, the weight of this missionโ€”an ancient distress call echoing through time and beckoning you into the heart of the unknownโ€”has only just begun to reveal its ominous secrets.

"Uh, guys, you'd better get here!" Ahsoka's voice crackled through the comm, urgent and tinged with fear, sending a chill down your spine.

You waved Obi-Wan's hands away, brushing off his concern. "I'm fine," you insisted, your voice taut as you gathered your robes and hurried back to the cockpit. The moment you stepped inside, it was as if reality itself had shifted beneath you.

Before you loomed a colossal structure, shaped like a giant, faceted crystal. It glinted ominously in the dim light of the cockpit, refracting shadows that danced eerily along the walls. Beyond it, a wall of impenetrable darkness stretched out like an encroaching night, a vast void that felt all-knowing and suffocating.

You shuddered, a visceral dread pooling in your belly as recognition washed over you. "That's... that's the place I saw in my vision," you breathed, the memory of those haunting images tumbling back into your mind with startling clarity.

Anakin exchanged a startled glance with Ahsoka, his brow furrowing. "You're having visions now?" he asked, incredulous, but you could detect an underlying concern beneath his disbelief.

Obi-Wan interjected before you could respond, his tone carrying the weight of authority that demanded immediate attention. "Whatever it is, it's blocking us from reaching Rex and the others. We need to navigate around it." His voice was steady, but you could sense the urgency beneath his calm exterior.

Anakin turned his focus back to the controls, his face taut with concentration as he pushed buttons and twisted knobs. "Strange... this is where the signal is coming from. I think it's coming from inside that structure."

A knot of fear tightened in your stomach. "Inside?" you echoed, the implications of his words sending a shiver down your spine. If the distress signal had emanated from such a place, what horrors might lie within its crystalline halls?

But before anyone could respond, the ship began to shake violently, a powerful force pulling you inexorably toward the crystal structure. You braced yourself against the cockpit's panel as the darkness swallowed the view outside, engulfing you in blinding blackness.

"Anakin, pull up! We need to maneuver away!" you shouted, the distress woven into your voice. The whining of the ship's engines intensified, battling against the force that sought to claim you.

"I'm trying!" Anakin gritted through clenched teeth, fighting with the controls as the ship lurched forward, drawn like a moth to a flame.

The cockpit flickered with alarms, each warning a stark reminder of your precarious situation. "Obi-Wan, what do we do?" Ahsoka's voice trembled, the tension palpable in the cramped space.

Obi-Wan's eyes narrowed, a flicker of determination igniting within them. "We must trust in the Force. Together, we can break free from its grasp."

As the darkness continued to pull, you felt a surge of energy coalesce among youโ€”a familiar hum that felt like a heart beating in unison. "Focus, everyone! We can't let it swallow us whole!" you urged, drawing on your training, the teachings of the Jedi resonating deep within you.

Lending your will to Anakin's as he wrestled with the ship's movements, you reached out, tapping into the currents of the Force, searching for the way forward.

The crystal structure loomed closer, its jagged edges glistening with a dark allure. You could feel something within it, a presence both unsettling and captivating. An image of the faceless figures from your visions flickered just behind your eyes, drawing you deeper into the mystery with a magnetic pull that perplexed and terrified you.

"On my mark!" Anakin's voice sliced through the growing haze of panic, and you steadied your breath, determination fueling your resolve.

"Now!" he shouted, and with a final, desperate push, you all focused your energies together, channeling the collective strength of your wills.

With a violent jolt, the ship broke free from the shadowy tendrils that sought to ensnare you. Anakin guided it carefully, his fingers dancing over controls like a maestro leading an orchestra. The cockpit flooded with light once more, and the dark structure loomed before you, closer and yet somehow more distant than before, as if taunting you to unravel its secrets.

"Hold steady!" Obi-Wan commanded, his voice steadying you all.

Gathering your resolve, you peered into the heart of the crystal, aware that the source of the distress call, and the darkness beyond it, awaited your arrival. The mystery that had drawn you here was only just beginning to unfold, and you knew in your bones that whatever awaited you within would test the very limits of your strength and unity as Jedi.
