Kaho's Point of View~

The next day came by in a flash. Of course, I couldn't get yesterday's beef with Langa and Adam out of head. God knows what would have happened if Langa didn't manage to dodge the Love Hug. I would have blamed myself if anything happened that's for sure.

The rest of the school day went by a blur. Also after the kiss me and Langa shared last night, we didn't even bring it up like it never happened. I guess in a sense it's a good thing cause I don't need people to turn their attention towards me.

We just hung out at school with each other like normal. Though I was confused as to what it would make us both cause we both confessed our feelings. I am still confused with my feelings a little but they all go towards me liking him back.

I sighed as I hurried back home to change out of my clothes. I can never skateboard freely with my school uniform. After changing, I hurried back outside and skated down the street towards the skatepark to meet up with Reki and Langa as we all usually do.

Tho what surprised me when I reached the park was seeing Langa skating but Reki wasn't with him. Confused, I pushed the back of my board, lifting it up as I picked it up and walked inside. He didn't seem to notice my presence at all until I spoke up.

"Didn't expect to see you here. Alone at that." I said as he stopped skating and looked at me.

"Reki originally was supposed to come and watch us skate but he got grounded." He explained.

"Well that sucks." I said, readjusting my glasses and putting my board down as I rolled it back and forth for a bit.

"I was wondering..." I heard Langa talk as I looked at him, curiously.

"Hm?" I hummed in response.

"I was wondering if you could teach me one of the skateboarding tricks I saw you do once?" He asked as I blinked before smiling.

"Sure! Which one exactly?" I asked, popping my board up to get a hold of it.

"Uh... I can't remember the name exactly but you seemed to look like you were dancing on your board, I think?" He said as I tilted my head before understanding what he meant.

"Oh! You mean the the Peter Pan?" I asked as he nodded.

"Is that what it's called?" He asked as I nodded.

"Sure is! Considering you have a long board with you then you'll be able to do it! Let me show you how to do it!" I said as I went over to him and set the board down.

"Okay so the first thing you do is put one of your feet horizontally on the board while the other one vertically. You then place the other foot on the rail." I explained as I showed him how I was putting my foot on the board as he looked concentrated on what I was doing.

"Whichever side you're comfortable doing, you can still do it. Then you bring over the other foot to the other side, making it crossover and then you continue doing it with the other foot and so on. You can repeat doing it as many times as you can."

"I see." He said, his eyes sparkling in wonder, making me smile.

"This is just the basic stuff for now. You can try it on your board now." I told him as he nodded and grabbed his board.

Considering he is able to pick up quickly on many tricks but this one was a bit hard for him by the looks of it. Though his attempt were pretty good but he kept on nearly falling at some parts and was not able to get far enough other than just one step of the way.

"Here let me help you." I told him as I went over to where he was.

"Want me to hold your hand while you're trying to shift your feet?" I asked which instantly made him face a little red, making me giggle.

"Sure... Thanks." He said, taking my hand.

He slowly stood up on his board and tried to cross his feet over on the sides. He seemed to wobble a lot while doing so since his feet aren't strapped to the board this time. So far he was doing okay until there was a misstep which caused him to lose balance as he fell on his back but also pulled me onto him since he was holding my hand.

"Oof!" I huffed as I fell on top of him.

"Are you okay?" I said, lifting my head to see him slightly twitching in pain.

"Y-yeah... Are you okay?" He asked, looking up at me.

"Yeah considering you broke my fall." I told him as I slightly lifted myself from him.

"This is totally not an awkward position." I said slightly blushing as I got off from him and helped Langa up who was equally red in the face like me after that.

"Why don't we sit and take a break? We can try learning that trick later, yeah?" I asked as he nodded.

"Sure." He said, smiling a little as we went over and sat down on the bench as I handed him a drink that I brought with me and got my own one out.

We were sitting in silence as we took a sip out of our drinks. The silence wasn't an awkward one but it had a nice feeling to it to say the least. Neither of us spoke up and just continued to stare forward or at the sky. That silence was soon broken.

"Can I ask something?" I heard Langa speak as I looked at him before nodding.

"Sure. What is it?" I asked.

"Is your last name your mother's last name or father's last name?" He asked as I stared at him.

I am honestly surprised to hear him ask that out of everything he could ever ask me. To be honest, nobody ever asked me that. Probably because they don't know the fact that my father left me when I was a child. I guess this is where the question came from.

"It's actually my mother's last name." I told him as his eyes widened.

"Oh... I didn't know that. I always thought children carry their father's last names." He said as I smiled a little.

"It's true but from what Nii-san told me, my so called father insisted that me and my brother keep my mother's last name, Sakurayashiki. Honestly if my last name was my dad's I would have hated it very much." I explained to him as he nodded.

"I see." He said and once again the silence fell on us and since I didn't feel like staying in silence I decided to say something.

"Well I am bored." I blurted out, leaning on my back.

"You don't have work later?" I heard him ask as I shook my head.

"Nah. I called in sick cause I didn't feel like working today. I can live without work for a week to be honest. What about you?" I asked as he shook his head as well.

"Me neither." He said as I sighed as I remembered that we have a test tomorrow.

"Darn it! I just remembered that we have a test tomorrow..." I said, feeling pissed.

"Do you need help with it?" He said as I shook my head.

"Nah I'm good just didn't feel like studying today and just wanted to hang out with you guys." I said, getting up from the bench and grabbing my board that was left on the ground.

"Why don't we study together? That way we can finish it quickly." I heard Langa suggest as I looked back at him.

"Are you sure?" I asked him as he nodded.

"Yeah. But do you want to study at my house or yours?" He asked as I pondered for a bit before answering.

"Well my house is pretty close by from here so how about mine? If you're okay with it that is." I suggested as he nodded.

"It's alright. I'm just gonna get my things and meet you back at your home." He said as I nodded.

"Sounds like a plan. I'll see you later in a few then." I said as we split in different directions to our homes.

Langa's Point of View~

I quickly texted my mom telling her that I would be studying at a friend's house and won't be back for a couple of hours. I quickly unlocked the door to my house and went to my room and grabbed my textbooks which is needed for tomorrow.

Then I made my way towards Kaho's home which was basically Cherry's but they do both live together so I don't really have to be specific much. When I reached her house, I knocked on her door as I waited for her to open it. A few seconds later, I see the door open to reveal Kaho.

"You're fast. Come on in!" She said as I walked into the house and followed her upstairs to her room.

Upon reaching her room I saw small boxes lying on the other side of the room but overall her room looked it was neatly kept with the picture frames on the shelves and small posters and decorations on the walls.

"Sorry for the mess! I still haven't unpacked a few things. I got pretty lazy while doing so." I heard her say as she moved a few things aside.

"It's alright really. The move must have been tiring from New York." I said as she looked over at me and nodded.

"Yeah it really was. I had to pack everything I had two days before I come back here." She said, getting up from the floor and going over to the other box as I looked around until something caught my eye.

I saw a picture frame which had Kaho's picture but the only big difference was the length of her hair. Her hair seemed longer than how her hair is now. The length seemed to reach till her chest and she looked very happy too. She looked pretty with long hair as well.

"I didn't know you had long hair before." I said as Kaho came up to me.

"Oh yeah. I used to like keeping long hair." She said as I handed her the picture as she kept it back on the shelf.

"So you want to start studying?" She asked as I nodded.

"Yeah sure." I said with a small smile forming on my face. 

We both sat down at her desk as we started studying. It was mostly her helping me understand a few things and trying to get me to understand Japanese as well since I am pretty rusty on that. She was very patient and helped me learn things slowly. We continued studying for a bit before deciding we studied enough and decided to take a break.

"Well... That's the most reproductive thing I have done all day." She said letting out a sigh.

"You make it sound like you barely do anything reproductive." I said as she raised a brow.

"That obvious?" She asked as I nodded.

We sat in silence until I decided to break the ice.

"So... about yesterday..." I started as she skeptically looked at me.

"You're talking about the kiss?" She asked as I nodded.

"Yeah. What does this make us?" I asked as she pondered for a bit.

"Whatever you think. I mean it's pretty obvious how we feel about each other. I'm more than happy to actually date you if you're ready." She said as I stared at her.

I was shocked by her words. I didn't expect it but what else would I expect from her. She knows how to speak her mind. I smiled and nodded.

"Well I'm ready." I responded to her as a smile formed on her face.

"Then I guess it's official that we're dating." She said with a small laugh as she leaned on my arm.

"I guess we are." I smiled and put a hand on her head.

"Now I'm curious when you started to fall for little old me?" She asked having a really cheeky expression on her face as I playfully rolled my eyes.

"I guess after I got to know you really well a few months back. What about you? That kiss on the cheek didn't go unnoticed by me." I asked, smirking slightly as she punched my arm.

"What do you think?" She asked, stating the obvious as I smiled.

"So... how do we go about telling the others?" I asked as she snorted.

"Let them figure it out themselves. I'm too lazy to explain." She said as I shook my head.

"You really are something." I stated as she shrugged.

"I know and I'm proud of it." She said, smiling proudly.

"Good to know." I smiled, as a small blush formed on my face.

Yes I'm back but updates will be pretty slow depending on my motivation and exams!

Honestly it feels great to write again and I wanna thanks some of my online friends for it!

Though I can assure you I will finish this book no matter what!
