SAKURA SNOW

Kaho's Point of View~
"It's Adam!"
"Seriously?!"
"Never seen him before..."
"Woah..."
"The legend has descended."
I seriously just wanted to run but then again, I couldn't leave the three and it would only just make them grow their suspicions over me and I don't want that happening cause they are better off not knowing. Though Miya might know but not everything.
"Adam's here?" Miya questioned.
""No way... THE LEGENDARY ADAM?!" Reki shouted in awe as I sighed and looked away.
"You seemed to be running on empty again Miya." I heard Adam say as I snapped my attention and looked at him and then at Miya who seemed dejected by his words.
"Friends skating is wonderful." Adam came to stop near the four of us. "At this point in your life, you have nothing left."
That was enough to make Miya feel emptier even more. I decided not to say anything to Adam and only put a hand on Miya's shoulder but he just seemed like he wanted to breakdown but I didn't know what to do other than wanting to punch Adam.
"Well anyway..." Adam turned his attention to Langa.
"I've observed your technique. You have quite a talent."
This instantly alarmed me. I swear if this is where I think it is going, this isn't gonna end well for Langa like how it did to me. That was one of my biggest mistakes ever and I don't intend on anyone else making the same mistakes.
"Brilliant actually. But you'll be even better if you fix out the shape of your body weight." Adam said walking near him and I swear this was making me uncomfortable already.
"For instance, when you're doing an ollie, take your foot and... oh! May I touch you?" Adam said as I covered my mouth from making gagging noises.
I swear this was making me want to puke right on the spot cause he is the most disgusting person I have ever met in my entire life. I was literally about to say something but Reki had already interrupted before I could say anything.
"Hold on a second." Reki said, looking annoyed. "Take back what you said about Miya."
With that, Miya had a look of shock as if nobody stood up for him but that also resulted in Adam looking over at Reki with a sinister smirk on his face while letting out a low laugh. Not something I liked in any form of way.
"And what if I will not take it back?" Adam said casually as I balled up my hand to a fist.
"Then you leave me no choice." I saw Reki use his foot to lift up his board and picked it up with his hand.
"I'll make you!"
Everyone started to cheer while I just looked at Reki in bewilderment. I swear this boy is literally asking for a bigger death wish. I swear I can't let him or Langa skate against Adam or god knows how bad he'll f*** them up.
"Reki! Don't! You're better of not skating against Adam if you know what's good for you." I told him sternly but he wasn't even listening to me.
"If I win this match, you apologize to Miya." He said, making Miya instantly respond back.
"I don't need your pity slime!" Miya frowned and looked down a little. "I am not afraid of starting over. It's fine. Rules are rule, I can handle it." He said, looking away.
"It's not about pity. It's about being done with jerks like him treating others like total crap!" He said as me and Miya both looked at him but I know what will happen and it's not good.
"Hey! I know you can here me! I can see your ears sticking out from that mask!" Reki said, clearly upset over everything that happened just now.
"I wonder... If we could see our emotions. What shape would they take for the moods we're in?" He said, making Reki confused but I was figuring out where he was taking this conversation.
"I'd imagine mine would be a spring. Picture it, the amount of flowing water would reflect what I am feeling." Adam said spinning before getting onto his skateboard.
"I am not here for a poetry reading." Reki said, not even caring what he was saying. "I've want- uh!"
"If we were to look right now my spring would be a desert because that's the level of humor I have in mediocre. However..." He stopped himself before skating back towards Langa.
"You... Your talent, it drips from you. I've become a river. You've created a deluge of intrigue! Oh, a flow of information has burst open my den. So I've chosen my prize. I wanna skate with you next. How's that sound?" Adam said as I couldn't contain it and spoke up.
"Langa, don't you dare accept it." I warmed him, narrowing my eyes as Adam looked over at me.
"And who are you to tell him what to do?" He asked me as I swear I was close to digging my nails on the palm of my hand.
"Someone that knows what's good for them, Jacka**." I told him.
"I can't wait." I heard Langa say as my eyes widened, not only in shock but in fear.
"WHAT?! Langa!" Reki shouted, speaking my mind in a sense.
"Excellent. We got a deal." Adam said, turning to look at us.
"No deal! I am not letting any of you two skate against him." I said, jumping in.
"Really? Well too bad. The deal has already been made as it seems. Not gonna lie, you were a good opponent but you weren't exactly the Eve I was hoping for." Adam said, looking at me directly as I didn't know what to say.
"Anyways, we got a deal. I'll see you all later." Adam said making his way out.
I swear... Sometimes I can't believe these two...

Langa's Point of View~
"I don't get it. Why are you like that?" I heard Reki whisper to me in class as I stared at my textbook.
"Like what?" I asked.
"You say yes to everyone who challenges you."
"Really? Why do you challenge everyone who upsets you?" I asked back.
"Because they piss me off!" He said leaning near me as I leaned in a bit closer.
"Right while I enjoy skating." I told him, which widened his eyes.
"Huh? You say when you looked at Adam he sparked freaking joy?! Cool cool cool cool... The mask is still ugly I guess." I noticed the teacher coming and I went back to my original position but Reki kept talking.
"Man the stuff he says to people. It sucks!" And with that I saw the teacher hit Reki over the head with his book to shut him up.
My eyes glazed over to Kaho who seemed quiet than usual but she didn't look so happy either and seemed bothered. I wanted to ask if she was okay but my conscience was telling me to leave her alone for now so I did but I was gonna try and talk to her later.
❅ ╤╤╤╤ ❀ ╤╤╤╤ ❅
The three of us decided to got to a Ramen shop and talk over there. Technically Reki was feeling like eating Ramen today so we decided to go and have some over there. I was glad Kaho agreed to come but she didn't speak much and just looked distracted. Was it about yesterday? Is she mad at me? I decided to let go of those thoughts.
"So Adam. What kind of skater is he?" I asked poking at my food a little.
"He started S. Rumor is he's still undefeated." Reki explained as my eyes sparkled in wonder at the new information.
"Fascinating."
"That wasn't supposed to be a good thing."
"It clearly isn't fascinating either." I heard Kaho mumble, stuffing the chopsticks in her mouth.
"What else he got?"
"That's actually all I have on him. But you could probably ask the founders for more."
"Who are they?" I asked, very curious on who they are.
"Cherry, Joe and possibly Kaho. They would love to go off about that guy." Reki said as I glanced over at Kaho who seemed to look busy with her bowl of ramen even more.
"Is she trying to hide something." I thought to myself but it was soon broken by another voice.
"Don't listen to him." I looked to the side to see a man with red eyes and green hair sitting beside Reki.
"Joe?!" I heard both Reki and Kaho say.
"I was skating with Adam before S. There's more to him than his performance." He said as I continued to look at him.
"Who's that?"
"Joe! One of the founding members. He's known as the six-pack skater. Also the fastest and strongest if you're looking at raw power." Reki explained as Joe finished up his bowl before holding Reki in a choke hold hug.
"Come on! You know that I'm more than just power." Joe said as Reki tried to get out of the hug.
"Joe you're gonna kill the poor boy. Best to let go while he's still young." I heard Kaho say, not looking all pleased.
"Oh come on! You know how I am. Plus it's nice to meet your friends for the first time, Cherry Junior." Joe said, letting Reki go.
"So back to Adam. What kind of skater is he?" I asked, looking at Joe, who seemed to bring his attention to me.
"Well his nickname says a lot." Joe started. "He is the Matador of Love."
"Love?" I questioned.
"As to do with his view on skating. He calls it a ritual of love." Joe explained.
"Yeah what's up with that? Feels like a stretch." Reki asked, rubbing his sore neck.
"His entire game's a stretch. I don't get him though it's lame."
"That said, he's a dangerous skater. Make no mistake. Everyone who beefs against Adam, winds up severely injured. A lot of them never recover and have to quit skating." Joe said as I looked at him until I saw him looking in my direction but not at me.
Then I looked at Kaho who wasn't even looking at anyone of us and I could sense Reki too was looking at her. She didn't seem to pay any notice to our staring until she decided to talk, basically knowing we were looking at her.
"What?" She asked, finally looking on our direction.
"You've been awfully quiet you know. The only thing we've been getting from you is silence. It's either you clearly know something that you aren't telling us or you're just being you're just straight up upset over us skating against Adam." Reki said.
"Yeah and you didn't talk to us in class either." I chimed in as she pushed her bowl away with a sigh.
"I have my many reasons to stay quiet and listen. Also if Joe were to encourage you two skate with Adam, I would have punched him where it hurt a few moments ago." Kaho said, giving Joe a death glare as Joe only laughed.
"Oh come on! Cut me some slack kid. You're usually always sweet whenever you aren't annoyed or pissed. Also you don't wanna act mean in front of your little blue boyfriend now do you?" He teased, blush dusting on my cheeks as I saw Kaho's face becoming red at the last bit.
"Eh?! He's not my boyfriend Mr. Raging Homosexual who is very much in love with my brother!" Kaho said, getting pretty flustered over it. It was pretty cute seeing her like that.
"Oi! I am not a Raging Homosexual!" Joe said defending himself.
"Whatever helps you sleep at night. I need to go to the restroom. Be back in a bit." She said getting up and making her way over to the restrooms leaving the me blushing while I could feel two others staring at me.
"You good there Snow?" I heard Joe ask as I nodded.
"Your face is kinda red there buddy. You have a fever or something? Your face seems pretty hot too." Reki said poking my cheeks.
"No. I am fine." I said trying to calm myself before they think otherwise but Joe had already caught on.
"You like Kaho don't you? I wouldn't blame you if you did." Joe said, laughing a little.
"What? I never said that! I just admire her as a friend and her skateboarding skills."
"Sure sure. I know a guy when I see them look at a person they like. So what do you like about her exactly? I mean I have seen a lot of guys actually having a crush on her but she never really liked any of them. She's a sweet girl really so I don't see why you wouldn't like her more than a friend." Joe said as I stared down at the table, taking in everything as I let out a sigh.
"Besides Langa having a possible crush on Cherry's sister, any idea on why she was quiet most of the time? She's kinda been like that since morning plus you know her better than we do." Reki asked, nudging me a little as he smirked, making me give him the stink eye.
"She has her own reasons." Joe said with a frown before looking away.
"I wouldn't suggest prying it out of her. She will tell you when she is ready and when she has full trust on you and herself. Just so you know, she's not mad at you two or anything. I guess you could say she's pretty worried about you two."
This made me have a few questions popping up. Did Adam and Kaho have some sort of history that is making her act cold towards all this? Did she have a beef with him? Did something bad happen to her? He knew he wasn't getting the answer any time soon.
"You two probably know that Kaho had no proper friends before you two right? In all honesty, I don't blame her. She mostly got picked on when she was little just because she liked things that most girls didn't and sometimes because of her love for skateboarding." Joe said, making me feel bad for Kaho.
"But... If you and Kaho do get together at some point in time, please keep an eye out for her. She's like a sister to me and his brother would appreciate it as well." He said looking at me as I nodded.
"We'll do our best and be the greatest of friends to her!" Reki said, seemingly enthusiastic.
"Yeah. Also this part of the conversation shouldn't be known to her. Just for the sake of her not beating me up." Joe said, joking a little as silence came over us again.
"I don't wanna be the boogie man but just keep it in mind." Joe said putting down his money on the table to pay.
"Later." He said with a wink before continuing.
"Thanks it was great! Oh and I am paying for those three!" Joe said, leaving the restaurant.
"Come again soon!"
I looked over Reki's shoulder to see how much he had paid but it clearly wasn't enough to cover for us all since it was just 1000 Yen and I know well that it take more than than much to pay for all of us.
"Seriously? That's not gonna cover Jack." Reki said and right at that moment Kaho came back.
"Sorry if I made you guys wait." She apologized.
"It's no problem. Joe just left." I told her.
"Yeah but he didn't pay enough for all of us." Reki said, letting out a sigh.
"As expected." Kaho said, sighing as she fished something out of her pocket and put it down on the table to see it was money.
"Woah! That's a lot! You don't have to pay for all of us you know?" Reki said, sweat dropping.
"Nah, I'm okay with paying really. Plus, take it as an apology for me for giving you two the cold shoulder for nearly the entire day." She said, frowning a little.
"It's alright really. You must have had a valid reason for it." I told her as Reki nodded in agreement.
Right then, Reki's phone went off. He quickly fished it out of his pocket to check. Instantly he let out a tired sigh and got up from his seat.
"Did something happen?" Kaho asked as Reki shook his head.
"It's nothing serious. I just have to do some deliveries which I can handle by myself. I'll see you two later in an hour at the skatepark." Reki said, walking out of the restaurant, leaving me and Kaho.
"Well." I heard Kaho say as I turned my head to look at her. "We should get going as well."
I blinked a bit before getting a small flashback at what happened last night when Reki challenged Adam. I remember him saying something to Kaho which confused me very much. Did these two really have a beef against each other and did something happen to her? These are the only things still circulating my mind right now.
"Langa! You there?" I heard Kaho shout a little as I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at her, nodding.
"Yeah... Just got lost in my thoughts." I told her as I looked away, slightly embarrassed since I was staring at her.
"That's alright. Let's get going." She said as I slowly got up from my seat and grabbed my skateboard as we walked out of the restaurant and walked down the street.
"You're okay now right?" I asked as Kaho looked at me quizzically.
"What I meant was that you aren't mad or anything since you have been quiet and didn't speak to us much."
"Oh! It's nothing really. Sorry if I have been off with you guys. It wasn't nice of me." She said, apologizing as I shook my head.
"It's alright. I understand where you're coming from. I guess me and Reki are pretty reckless." I said, chuckling a little.
"It's alright really. I am not upset over that even though I know very well that you two are. Mostly you." She said, giggling to herself as I flicked the side of her forehead.
"Hey!" She said, playfully shoving me.
She rubbed the side of the forehead where it hurt as I laughed a little at her reaction. She puffed up her cheeks in annoyance as she looked away, making me smirk but I did however found it adorable.
"Cute." I thought to myself.
❅ ╤╤╤╤ ❀ ╤╤╤╤ ❅
We practiced skating on our boards for a few before Reki had arrived and joined us since he very much needed it considering the race with Adam is exactly tomorrow. We decided to take a break and sit on he empty ledge with our drinks and relax for a bit.
"What are you gonna do about the beef with Adam?" I asked as I put my drink down.
"I am gonna race him obviously." Reki answered, looking confident.
"What about Joe's warning?" I asked, telling him the obvious as his eye twitched.
"Oh yeah. What about his warning Reki?" Kaho joined in, looking at him from behind me.
"You're breaking up!" He said, avoiding the question as he drank his drink only to spit it out instantly in disgust.
"What is this crap?!" Reki said, looking at the bottle to see that it was a protein drink.
"Better than chugging can a corn syrup and caffeine." I heard a voice say from behind us as I looked to see it was Miya holding Reki's cola can.
"Miya?" Reki questioned.
"You need to take care of yourself. Start with proper training. I made you an exercise schedule." Miya said, handing us his phone as I took it from his hands to see.
"Five sets of each?" I spoke as Kaho looked over my shoulder.
"That's a lot to be honest." She commented.
"I am not training for a world title!" Reki exclaimed.
"Not an excuse." Miya said, facing the other way.
"Come on, maybe you're taking this a little too far."
"It's a start but not enough. You need a lot more than that to beat Adam." he finished saying as me and Reki looked at each other and chuckled.
"You know, it's just Langa and Reki who has to train so..." Kaho started as he took the can from Miya and opened.
"Hey no! That's mine!" Reki said snatching it from her before she could take a sip from it.
"Jacka**." Kaho said, giving him the stink eye.
"I am honestly surprised Cherry never said anything about you swearing and your use of foul language." Reki said, annoying her a little.
"I hope both sides of your pillow are cold tonight." She said in annoyance as I patted her head to calm her down.
"Oi stop that!" Kaho said, trying to swat my hand away as I smirked a little at her flustered state while Miya and Reki laughed a little.
Teasing her was kind of fun in a way but of course I am gonna keep that to a minimum as to not get on her bad side or anything. But I once more felt my heart beating as I looked at her yet I am still unsure if I like her not as more than a friend but maybe I do see her like that.
CHAPTER VII
·˚ ༘₊· ͟͟͞͞꒰➳ 𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄 ✎
I probably would have made this chapter bigger but I decided against ti since the next chapter is gonna be more bigger than that!
Langa's feelings for Kaho are growing day by but for Kaho it's still faint since she never really felt much like this before and it's kind of a new feeling!
I honestly love the dynamic between Langa and Kaho and sometimes Kaho's dynamic with Reki cause Reki and Kaho give off sibling vibes!
Miya is just sitting there shipping Kanga/Langaho peacefully! XD
Anyways I hope you guys liked this chapter!
Please Vote, Comment, Read and Enjoy!
