edward stares at the leader before informing the other vampires, "he's looking for alice."

the wolves howled in the back, stepping out slowly from behind them as they took their places either next to a coven or mixing between the others.

paul and leah come to both their sides, looking at them to check up, receiving nods before the four look to the front again.

as they all lowered their hood's heejin pursed her lips, his blonde hair was cut and it looked so much better, she really had to thank heidi for that some time.

heejin had her hand in his fur, keeping him calm for the time being as he growls from time to time, her lip quirked up in a teasing smile as she stares at him.

he inaudible huffs before carlisle steps forward, taking the role as speaker, "aro, let us discuss things as we used to," he begins, "in a civilised manner."

aro's eyes flit over the cullen's witnesses briefly before he responds, "fair words, carlisle. but a little out of place given the battalion you have assembled against us."

heejin's eyes look around the guard, looks exchanged with her three siblings before she stares at her father figure the longest.

"i can promise you, that was never my intent. no law have been broken." carlisle states.

caius grew angry at that, snapping at them quickly which made heejin huff, now she knows where she gets her temper from, "we see the child! do not treat us as fools!"

"she is not immortal!" carlisle states louder, making sure the others heard as well, "these witnesses can attest to that." looking around the guard and witnesses of the volturi instead.

caius' eyes connected with heejin's and she nods her head faintly, telling him that it was true.

"you can look," carlisle offers, „see the flush of human blood in her cheeks."

"artifice!" caius growls out in fury as aro holds out a hand to keep him quiet.

"i will collect every facet of the trust from someone more central to the story." aro states looking towards edward, "edward, as the child clings to your newborn mate, i assume you are involved."

edward smiles at his daughter, placing a loving hand on her head before sharing a look with bella before he walks forward.

as edward was already halfway to aro, heejin suddenly wooshed next to him, grinning at him as he gives her a confused look.

aro and caius were intrigued as the two approach, keeping their eyes on them as the two mind readers hold hands, letting the older male read his thought.

heejin gives a look towards jane before her eyes fall on demetri, a smile gracing her before it quickly left when edward took his hand back.

"i'd like to meet her." aro speaks up, fascinated by the child.

edward seems to have a debate with himself before turning to bella who walks forwards with jacob by her side before emmet joins as well.

the brown wolf growls in warning before aro stares at bella, "ah, young bella. immorality suits you."

his eyes went to renesme as he heard her heartbeat, laughing with a high pitched, shrill and slightly crazed voice, "i can hear her strange heart.."

bella hesitantly lets go of her child, letting it walk to aro as she greets him, "hello aro."

she placed her hand on his cheek, showing him her birth and how she was born and not bitten. his eyes widen even more as he believes her, whispering dazed, "magnifico.."

his voice held more authority now, "half mortal, half immortal." bella pulls the child back to her as he continues, "conceived and carried by this newborn whilst she was still human."

"impossible.." caius mutters in distrust.

"do you think they have fooled me, brother?" aro asked, daring him to answer wrong.

the four went back - meaning bella, edward, emmet and renesmee - while jacob growled again in warning which caused aro and heejin to to lift the corners of their mouth slightly. the vampire and wolf went back to their groups, observing their next move.

caius huffs out, snipping his finger as he beckons the guard forward, "bring the informer forward." he orders.

the guard brings irina to him as he points to the child, "is that the child you saw?"

she hesitated with her answer, "i'm not sure.." she mutters.

the blonde king raised an eyebrow, "jane?"

"she's changed!" irina states, desperately this time, "this child is bigger."

"so your allegations were false?" caius ask although he knew the answer himself.

irina nods her head, "the cullens are innocent. i take full responsibility for my mistake." she states before turning to look at her sisters and whispering a painful, "i'm sorry."

edward suddenly calls out loud, "caius no!"

santiago and felix tore off her arms in one swift move before felix beheaded her, letting her body fall to the floor.

tanya and kate cried out in despair while demetri handed caius a lit torch as the older blonde man set irina's body on fire.
