a beautiful woman was standing in front of her mirror, her black silky hair in  ponytail that her stylist did before she was shushed away, a white blouse under her black jumpsuit that was paired with expensive black heels and a black purse with silver details.

her make up was as usual, a perfect eyeliner on both sides of her red, almost black eyes. over her shoulder was a black blazer placed and she applied her red lipstick on her lips before she sighs again.

looking at the mirror with a tight lipped smile she takes her purse before walking out of the room and towards the kitchen as her cook already prepared her a glass of blood, her favorite o negative.

drinking the red liquid that was inside her once dark eyes turned a beautiful shade of red, almost matching with her red lipstick.

she looks at her cook who was preparing some pancakes for the staff that worked in her house as he did everyday. not out of the goodness of his heart, but rather because she compelled him to.

having a mixture of a smile and smirk on her lips the asian woman walks towards her elevator which took her to the underground garage of her home.

walking out she was greeted by the door men that held the glass door open before she walks towards her car with firm steps. there she was greeted by a lovely woman who held the door open for the back seats, taking her place the door was shut and the woman took her place into the drivers seat before she was driven to her company.

due to her being a vampire she had to leave her home city very often only to come back three generations later, same surname but different given-name as she played the role of a descendant of her bloodline.

"miss kim, you have a appointment at 11 am in your office with a couple by the name cullen." the woman informed her, "after that you have another meeting set for 3 pm and paperwork for the day, would you like me to add or remove anything?"

the woman on the backseat pursed her lips at the mention of the couple, knowing who it would be, "no please leave it like it is." she responds with a smooth and alluring voice.

"yes, miss kim."

a few hours later the woman was sitting in her office at the top floor before a knock was heard, looking at the time on the corner of her laptop before she sighs as she remembers who it would be.

the door opens and the woman from that morning came inside, holding the door open for the couple that entered after her, she bows to her boss before leaving the room again and closing the door behind her.

she stands up, her pale marble hands gliding on her desk as she looks down with a tiny smile, "i am glad to see you two, carlisle and esme."

"oh, claire! we missed you so much." esme says, going over to hug the female ceo.

claire smiles at that, "have you come for a vacation?" she questions, "i'm sure i have a pretty penthouse free for you."

"heejin.." carlisle begins, glancing at esme who stepped back next to him, "our family is in danger.. we would like your help if thats possible."

heejin - also known as claire by her american friends - stares at the floor before she looks up, her eyes holding a different emotion in them, "from what? what is a possible danger to you except for the volturi or the wolves?"

the two remain quiet before carlisle explains, "the volturi thinks that we have an immortal child in our coven, we need witnesses and thought you could join us."

"the volturi.." she mutters, her eyes having a far away look, "are you seeking me out because i stayed with them before i ran like hell? because i would have a vendetta against them? because i dont, i love my siblings and i keep in contact with demetri ever so often."

esme's eyes widen at her first sentence, "no, no of course we didnt seek you out because of that."

her mate nods, "we came to ask for your help because i'm asking for a favor, the favor you promised me the day i helped you run."

she clenched her hands at her side, "fine. fine i'll come to forks and join your witnesses but afterwards we're even. i do not like having open favors with old friends."

carlisle nods his head with a grateful smile, "thank you, heejin."

she nods her head, waving them off, "we'll catch up in forks, i assure you that i'll be there."
