she laughs as she is running behind paul - who has phrased into his wolf - the two running away from each other as jungwon and leah kept up.

she stumbles for a moment before she continues, her black hair waving behind her as she wore some blue washed loose jeans accompanied with one of paul's royal blue hoodies and paired with black boots and some black ear muffles since it was already winter.

"see ya later alligator!" jungwon calls out, following leah as she took a right turn to her house.

"no one says that anymore!" she calls back, laughing when she saw paul stumbling but picking himself up before he could fall completely.

he looks behind him with a glare for sure - but heejin could only guess - and looks back forward as he leads her towards his home.

she was nervous but didnt complain, she wouldnt know how it felt to spend such days with family as she didnt have that anymore. she was all alone, except for jungwon in some years.

arriving at the treeline by his house he quickly phrased back, changing into some jeans shorts and shoes that he hid before in the woods and takes her hand, "cmon, my mom wants to meet you. she couldnt wait any longer."

her eyebrows wiggle, "awe, so you talked about me a lot?"

"all the time." he confessed, kissing her tremble before he leads her up the steps of his front porch, "sorry for whatever will happen from now on."

she nods her head with a chuckle, accepting his warning but before she could react the door opened and a woman in her early forties had already her arms wrapped around her while paul laughed quietly.

"oh, my dear!" she coed, "you look beautiful, much more prettier than paul described to me!"

heejin gives her a smile, "its nice to meet you, miss lahote."

"nonsense!" she exclaims, "you are family. now come, come inside you two i have prepared your favorite paul."

his mother ushered the two inside, leading them to the dinner table as she set two plates on it. one for paul and one for herself since she knew heejin couldnt eat anything.

"heejin.." she tested the name slowly, "i heard you took good care of my paul while i was absent in tacoma?"

heejin grins, "please, call me claire or jinnie." she offers her, "and yes i did. after paul attempted to cook himself dinner the first night, which he failed at miserably, i took it upon myself to cook for him for the last three days so he wouldnt die of hunger."

his mother grins, "call me toni then, antonia is such a mouthful. i really appreciate your care for our boy, he is indeed a little food monster."

heejin barks out a laugh, quickly slapping her hand over her mouth in embarrassment, "yeah he is really a monster."

paul grins at her, he noticed the double meaning behind it quickly while his mother remained oblivious.

"will you stay here longer?" toni asks her, "he imprinted on you so you shouldnt stay away from each other too long."

heejin grins to her in comfort, "of course, i already have a house near the woods a few street near sam's. my assistant is currently moving everything i need to it so rest assured i'll stay."

"that are wonderful news!" she tells her, "tell me, what did you do before coming to forks?"

heejins chuckles, "i own a company in korea, seoul. i had to help out a friend here in forks and then paul imprinted on me."

toni cooes holding paul's hand while he ate the food, "awe this is so sweet, you two really have such a cute love story. this will be good to tell my grandkids."

it were moments like these that made heejin remember that she was a vampire, a cold, pale, enhanced human girl. she gives her a hopeful smile as she still had the conversation in her mind the day she met the pack.

those two sentences were going through her head all the time and she couldnt wait for her little family to grow, to have a child of her own.

suddenly toni leans forward with a hushed voice, "i heard leah clearwater imprinted as well. poor girl had to be the ex girlfriend in sam's pack. i'm really glad she finally got what she wanted and can live her happy love life."

paul barks a laugh out, causing heejin to join him, "oh toni, we already know. he's my brother."

"what?! such a handsome boy that you have in your family, jinnie."

"he's adopted, but he does have good genes." heejin agrees.

"hm, in your ages i would've died if i knew one of the two of you. i wouldnt hesitate to put a ring on either of you soon." toni states, looking to paul pointedly.

"yes mom, dont worry. we'll have our wedding soon, hopefully." paul responds, not looking at her.

"i do hope so. i support you two and you are a match made in heaven!"
