chapter fifteen; bring it on bitch

Torryn puckered her lips as she finished applying her apple-colored lipstick. Winking at herself in the mirror of her locker, Torryn easily drowned out the noise coming from the other twenty-three girls around her.

It was currently game night for Memorial High meaning the school's football team was going to war with the local high school in the city next to Jasper. This also meant that it was performance night for the cheerleading team. For the two hours that the game was scheduled to go on, it was the cheerleader's job to rally on the crowd and football team as they played.

Alike to always, the girls had been in the locker rooms for the past two hours, all of them doing their makeup and hair until it was perfect, chatting and gossiping as they hyped each other up. Multiple discarded energy drink cans sat around the room along with palettes of makeup and random items of clothing.

Everyone on the cheer team was required to wear identical uniforms; a red Memorial High half-top shirt with an alarmingly short skirt and pristine white tennis shoes, as well as their hair and makeup completely cognate.

Torryn tightened her glaring blue bow in a high-ponytail, smiling at herself in the mirror once she was finished. The girl always did like how she looked after she was all prepped and ready in her cheerleading uniform; in other words, Torryn Wilde looked incredibly sexy wearing the outfit.

Considering Torryn and Sierra were the only two redheads on the team, the two tended to stick out more than the others.

"Girl, I wish I had your abs." Emma playfully teased as she smacked Torryn's butt while walking past the teen.

Rolling her eyes in an equally as playful manner, Torryn turned to Emma who was now hopping around as she put on her left shoe. "Dude, you literally have better abs than I do." Torryn laughed while smacking the girl's butt in retaliation as she walked past, making her way toward Sierra who was helping another girl with her eyeliner.

Her ponytail swung as she walked, Torryn smashing her body against the lockers next to Sierra as she smiled at her along with the girl getting her eyeliner done; Annie. Sierra hummed in greeting while Annie chirped a preppy "hello" causing Torryn to wave at her teammate.

Torryn had been spending so much time at the base that she almost forgot how close she truly was with the team. While she used to hang with them every weekend she now found that she only ever saw them at practice and in the hallways passing. Most of the girls were considered "jocks" and "popular girls" not that Torryn much cared as after sweating for so many practices together she simply saw them as distant friends. Though, when Torryn happened to go partying on a weekend, she could always count that at least half the cheer team would be there.

Many of the girls were dating some of the football players while others chose to simply be "buddies" with multiple guys on the team.

"Can I have a sip of that?" Torryn questioned Annie who was holding a Monster energy drink in one hand.

Wordlessly, Annie handed her the drink, Torryn taking three huge gulps before handing it back to her. The coach expected every cheerleader to essentially act as if they were on speed for game nights, all the girls were required to have as much energy as they possibly could.

Shaking her head, Torryn let out a "whoop", smiling enthusiastically. Not including those three sips, she had already downed two Monster drinks in an hour alone. "My lipstick isn't messed up, is it?" Torryn carefully questioned, hoping she would not need to redo her red lipstick.

It took almost ten whole minutes to get it so perfectly shaped with her lips.

"No, you're good." Annie and Sierra both said as Sierra finished with Annie's eyeliner.

   "There you go!"

"Thank you, Sierra. You're the best!" Annie cheered just before another girl on the team named Tatum called out a familiar catchphrase.

"I'm sexy! I'm cute! I'm popular to boot!" Multiple echoing laughs vibrated around, Torryn smiling goofily at the start of a certain song.

It was expected considering they were all cheerleaders, that they all watched the popular movie "Bring It On" multiple times. By now, they all had the song memorized and it was only the tradition that they would sing it as they got ready for the football game.

Torryn made a mental note to herself to show Smokescreen Bring It On later.

"I'm bitchin', great hair, the boys all love to stare!" Immediately, every girl in the locker room; including Torryn began singing.

As if clockwork, all the singing stopped, every girl turning to Torryn playfully as the redhead rolled her eyes singing the next verse by herself. "I'm wanted, I'm hot, I'm everything you're not!" It was a little inside joke that only Torryn would sing that line as evidently, it was exactly what Torryn told a girl who annoyed her while she was drunk at a party.

"I'm pretty, I'm cool, I dominate this school! Who am I? Just guess! Boys want to touch my chest!" Torryn, Annie, Sierra were now looking at each other as they sang along, the entire team's voice bellowing from the locker room through the halls of the empty school Athletic building.

"I'm rockin', I smile, and many think I'm vile! I'm flyin', I jump, you can look but don't you hump, whoo! I'm major, I roar, I swear I'm not a whore!"

By now, most of the girl's had decided to do their own dance moves to their little movie jingle, Torryn, in particular, standing on one of the benches shaking her ass and swiveling her hips.

"We cheer and we lead! We act like we're on speed! Hate us 'cause we're beautiful, well we don't like you either! We're cheerleaders, we are cheerleaders, roll call!"

Torryn and the rest of the girl's pointed toward Sierra first, everyone deciding that since she was the team captain she should be first in their own "roll call".

"Call me Si-erra!" She perkily shouted smacking her ponytail behind her in a sassy manner.

   "I'm Emma!"

   "A-Annie!"

Torryn knowing she was next in the roll call, did a small move alike to all the others. "Do the Torryn!" She spun around and stuck her tongue out provocatively.

When she was around the cheerleaders and other jocks or popular kids of the school, Torryn's personality became ten times more than what it usually was. Even with Miko, her personality tended to be wilder and almost childish versus provocative and sexy. She could only imagine what the others at the base would say if they saw her personality this way.

   "Let's go, Marnie!"

   "Hit it, Darcy!"

   "C' mon Rylee!"

   "W-Whitney!"

In the middle of the playful singing, Torryn was approached by Caitlyn who was the only girl who heard the knocking over all the singing.

"Some guy is outside the locker room for you." She told Torryn who furrowed her brows in confusion before hopping off the bench and making her way to the door of the locker rooms.

Opening the heavy door, Torryn (completely ready for the game) stepped out into the hallway which was empty except for one familiar male leaning on the wall opposite to the door.

"Jack?" Torryn questioned in surprise, stepping out of the locker room fully allowing the door to close behind her so she and Jack had some privacy from the rest of the team.

Almost immediately, Torryn's personality dimmed dialing back into a more relaxed state as she regarded one of her closest friends. "What's going on? Is something wrong?" She panicked, thinking something had happened.

Jack, Miko, and Raf never came out to the school games. It simply was not their type of crowd nor did they usually have times being at the Autobot base. Torryn was required to go to all the games, so she did not have a choice in the matter.

"No, no!" Jack quickly held his arms up while shaking his head. "I just thought I should warn you that Ratchet just finished with Smokescreen's holoform..."

Torryn rose a brow at the news, her excitement bubbling. "Really?"

Scratching the back of his neck sheepishly, Jack nodded. "Yeah, and he couldn't wait to show you so he managed to convince everyone to come to the game both so he could watch and so he could use his new holoform. Miko was on board since she's never been to a football game and she and Smokescreen reeled in Raf, me, Bulkhead, Arcee, Bee, and don't ask me how somehow they got Optimus to come. Ratchet's a no-show though, sorry." Torryn's mouth was hanging open, the girl had not expected any of them to come in a million years.

"What?" She sucked in a breath, nerves now coming to life within.

Not even her father had ever attended any games just to watch her, and now she had a whole group of supporters? It almost made Torryn want to cry she was so touched.

"You're all here?" She smiled brightly, the nerves only pushing her to make this the best and preppiest performance she has ever put on.

"Yeah, the others are all in the stands now. We managed to snag front rows seats, I just thought I would come to find you so you weren't confused as to why there are eight of us cheering you on." He chuckled with a smile, Torryn about to jump and hug him before the locker room doors opened.

Turning toward whoever it was, Jack's cheeks tinted pink and Torryn smirked at the sight of Sierra, the sound of laughter coming from the locker rooms.

"Oh, Jack!" Sierra said in surprise, not expecting to find him out here.

If anything, she was expecting to find Torryn making out with some random guy. She had noticed Torryn tended not to do relationships, simply only finding guys as toys and nothing more.

Jack's mouth watered at the sight of the green-eyed girl wearing the tight showy uniform. Despite being a junior, Jack never had much interest in going to the football games; therefore, he had never seen Sierra wearing this. However, if this was how she dressed for all games you could count him at all the rest.

"Sierra!" Jack smiled nervously, waving in a sheepish manner while using all his will power to keep his eyes from straying down her beautiful body.

'God, what a prize.' He thought to himself.

"I didn't know you were coming, Torryn didn't tell me," Sierra ground out, throwing a small glare Torryn's way for not warning her prior.

Torryn only held her hands up innocently. "Hey, I didn't know until just now. Apparently, it's him, Raf, Miko, and a few other friends of ours."

"Yeah, go Scorpions!" Jack said as enthusiastically as he could. "Can't wait to see you out there, I'm sure you and Torryn will do great!" He smiled, Sierra nervously nodding back as butterflies erupted in her stomach.

It was interesting to Torryn how Sierra could literally have any guy in the school and yet she was pining so hard over Jack. She figured the two must have had some sort of history, she just wondered what exactly it could be.

There was an awkward moment of silence with Jack and Sierra only staring into each other's gaze. Shaking her head, Torryn scoffed silently. This was ridiculous, the two had obvious chemistry she just wondered why it was taking so long for them to finally ask each other out. She had to help with this, this was just sorry.

Slowly a plan formed in Torryn's mind, the girl smirking as she decided on how to go about her plan which was going to take place later tonight.

Clearing her throat, Torryn shook the two teens out of it, both Jack and Sierra blushing heavily. "What did you need, Sierra?" Torryn asked her friend whose eyes widened as if she forgot something dire.

"Oh yeah! Shoot, we need to get out on the field like right now!" She panicked, as team captain it was Sierra's job to get the team out to the field on time for their entrance. "Crap, see you out there Jack!" Sierra exclaimed before spinning around and shouting into the locker room for everyone to line up as they needed to move quickly for the entrance performance.

"Well, I'll go now since you guys are getting ready to go. See you out there!" Jack smiled at Torryn who waved him off as the boy walked back down the empty hall with his hands shoved in his pockets.

✸✸✸

"Here come the Scorpions!" The head student-announcer for the football game cheered as the football team consisting of fifty guys ran out from the gymnasium and onto the football field.

Memorial High was a small school, and yet they were rather effective in their sports division. The football team, cheer team, tennis team, and soccer team were some of the best teams in the entire state; the football team and cheer team had even taken number one in the whole country one year. However, more often than not, the football team ended up with either runner up or third-best in the country. Something which in itself was difficult to achieve.

Torryn stood at the front of the team next to Sierra, all the girls shifting and mumbling nervously. Energy had to be at an all-time high as for the next two hours the cheer team was to be part of the entertainment for the football game. At half-time that was when they were to perform their routine which, each and every one of them hoped the sweat and tears at their long practices would pay off.

Even Torryn who generally did not get nervous was beginning to break into the jitters knowing that her friends and the Autobots were out there in the stands. Not to mention her lovely guardian; Smokescreen, she really wanted to impress him.

Peaking out the doors, the girls watched as the football players who had previously been standing in front of them raced to field with loud hollers. The stands were particular full tonight, many members of Memorial High and Jasper having attended the game. Many were standing in applause, some had their faces painted, a small portion even had colored wigs representing the Memorial High colors.

"Okay, girls!" Sierra turned to the team, taking a deep breath while trying not to think of the fact that her crush was currently sitting in the stands. "I want tonight to be perfect. No mess-ups at all! We bring high energy and we stick to our routine, we should leave people in awe of our performance once we finish with that routine. Coach is out there and she put in a lot of her time to get us to this point, it's only fair that we pay her back by giving 100% tonight. Got it?"

As captain, it was Sierra's responsibly to deliver the inspirational speeches and get the team pumped. Luckily, she was rather well at doing that as every girl on the team; including Torryn, whooped in agreeance.

"Good! Let's get in our formation, they're about to introduce us out. Torryn, you know when to come, you got that tumbling pass; remember to stick it!" Sierra nodded to Torryn who smiled back, going through the plan in her head.

This season, because Torryn was such a phenomenal tumbler, the coaches wanted to show her skills off. Therefore, while the rest of the team walked out doing their cheers when they were introduced, Torryn was supposed to make a big appearance doing one of the longest tumbling passes she had ever done out of the gymnasium a few seconds after the others.

As the football team got onto the field, multiple guys rose their hands getting the crowd to cheer louder for them. The opposing team from the next city over; Acre Springs, had brought their football team; the Gnomes, over from Gerome Highschool. Gerome Highschool did not have a bad football team by any means; however, they usually did not stand a chance against Memorial High's ruthless wreckers of a team. In fact, Memorial was so good that Gerome had never managed to beat them in the twenty years they had been a school.

Multiple guys from Gerome groaned at the Memorial football players cocky and confident attitude. They already knew they were going to lose tonight, they did not need a reminder.

Sitting at the front of the crowd in the stands, Miko was eagerly awaiting for the cheerleaders to make an appearance so she could scream for Torryn. The fifteen-year-old girl sat next to the holoform of her guardian, not even batting an eyelash at the size difference. While Miko was a rather petite girl (despite how much she tried to deny it); Bulkhead in his holoform was equally as daunting as if he were in his bi-pedal mode.

Bulkhead's holoform came in the appearance of a large African-American male, though he was not quite Optimus's height, he was almost there. While Optimus excelled in height and a muscular physique, Bulkhead was a rotund muscular with hands that looked about ready to snap anything in half.

It was quite entertaining to see both Miko and Arcee sandwiching his huge form, as both females were rather small. Arcee; in fact, while she had a somewhat tom-boyish haircut had an almost dainty aura. She was no taller than Miko; standing at a sturdy 5'2 with a body that was extremely feminine. The woman appeared no older than twenty-one with curves in all the right places and muscle exactly where it needed to be. While her hair was an eccentric purple, Arcee in a way was many men's dream woman. Feminine but able to destroy with a single punch.

Jack who sat next to Arcee at the very edge of the bench keeping his eyes peeled for not only Torryn but the other red-haired female who seemed to make his heartbeat frantically with just a single glance.

"Are they coming out soon?" Jack turned to Raf who had asked the question, the young bespectacled bot sitting next to his own humanized guardian.

Bumblebee from where he sat shrugged soundlessly. The young man was not particularly tall, looking no older than nineteen, and yet there was an easy vibe that simply told people not to mess with him. While Bumblebee sported the natural curly blond locks; an attractive feature, his eyes also told of a sweet soul.

"Soon," Jack answered the young boy earning an impatient groan from Smokescreen sitting sandwiched between Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.

Optimus did not think it to be a good idea for Smokescreen to sit anywhere other than next to himself as he wanted to keep an optic on the rookie.

Smokescreen himself was a rather handsome young man in his holoform. While he didn't look a day over nineteen, the male was built with a strong physique and a tall height. Easily enough, slightly untamed brown hair fell into stunning blue eyes, a wide overly-excited smile on the young man's mouth. For anyone who had seen him in his be-pedal mode, they would immediately know it was Smokescreen as only he could have that kind of a smile.

Before Smokescreen could utter another complaint about wanting to see Torryn, the student-announcer began speaking in an animated tone.

"Ladies and gentlemen! Here they are, Memorial High's girls. The glamouring Scorpion cheerleaders!"

From where they stood in the gymnasium, Sierra listened to the speaker waiting for their cue. Quickly after he ended, the crowd roared with glee and the song "Viva Las Vegas" began playing over the speakers as Sierra nodded.

"Let's go, girls, infinite smiles!" She called, placing her own bubbly smile on as she strutted out of the gym with twenty-one girls on her heels.

Raising their pom-poms, the cheerleading team shouted in excitement as they hotly walked to the edge of the field, doing dance motions perfectly in sync for the crowd. The stands continued to yell for them as multiple guys on the football cat-called the girls.

For anyone who did know football, they would immediately compare the Memorial High cheerleaders to the likes of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleading team.

Torryn herself had not yet left the gym, watching her fellow teammates while breathing deeply. Slowly, trying not to be seen she left the gym, standing at the very edge of the field intending to tumble to the middle where the rest of her team was currently dancing. However, she had to wait for her proper opening.

The red-head girl watched as her team popped it, no one out of count as they all danced to Elvis Presley. With the hot dance moves, the skirt seemed even shorter and the half-tops rode up higher. Overall, the cheerleaders looked fucking hot and every hormone-driven boy knew that.

Jack Darby had eyes for the one and only Sierra Landrace, his ocean orbs absorbing the way she smiled as she moved to the beat, his eyes watching her luscious legs kick high into the sky. Sierra had noticed Jack along with his other friends right away, the captain giving an unnoticed blush as she continued with her dancing, determined not to have a single mess up.

Rolling her eyes at her love-struck friend, Miko searched the mob of cheerleaders for Torryn.

"Where's Torryn?" Smokescreen questioned, not seeing his fiery charge anywhere within the group of girls.

"I don't know!" Miko shouted back equally as confused.

The group of girls came together, linking arms and kicking their legs up.

Cracking her neck, Torryn listened as Viva Las Vegas came to an end, all the girls on the team falling from a high-kick into the splits. Her cue was next.

Almost invisibly, Torryn could see the head cheer coach give a thumbs up as a song of Torryn's choice began playing. Considering this was her tumbling pass, they allowed her to choose the music.

"To the window! To the wall! To the sweat drop down my balls..." There it was, the moment Torryn had been waiting for.

With a big breath, Torryn shot forward reaching out until her hands hit the ground. Doing a round-off, Torryn spun into an arabian going into another round-off which lead into a back-hand spring. Snapping her legs down in the back handspring, Torryn could feel her heart pounding as she went into a whip, the girl doing a total of three whips.

"And there she is, star-tumbler Torryn Wilde comes out into a powerful tumbling pass! Does she ever stop flipping?"

Torryn could hear the cheers as did her final whip, immediately pushing into a back handspring before finishing out the pass in a double full-twisting layout.

Here was the thing about Torryn, she was an amazing tumbler. Had she continued with gymnastics, she probably would have made it to the Olympics.

Landing her long tumbling pass perfectly, Torryn made to sure to land with her arms in the air and a wide grin on her lips. Her song choice of "Get Low" was still playing.

Immediately, the girls whipped their hair around in a sassy motion, beginning to do a series of choreographed dance moves which consisted of many "pops", "drops", and interestingly enough "booty shakes".

"Whoo-hoo! Go Torryn!" The red-head looked up at her name beginning called, her eyes meeting Miko as the Japanese student stood, jumping around excitedly.

Slowly, her eyes took in the rest of her friends who were also cheering, the girl taking in how the other holoforms looked. She was easily able to tell who was who, her heart nearly stopping at the sight of who she knew to be Smokescreen.

Was that actually how her guardian looked as a human?

Seeing him cheering so avidly with his blue irises locked onto no one but her had Torryn blushing.

"Let me see you get low, you scared you scared!" Torryn was quickly joined by the rest of the team, her and Sierra taking front and center as all twenty-three girls began doing a hip-hop dance. "Drop that ass!"

Bending forward, Torryn easily whipped her hair as the entire team came together acting as a huge machine of dancers. Everyone could feel it, the energy was at an all-time high and Memorial High would win tonight.

✸✸✸

It was now halftime and the cheer team had just finished their routine. Torryn smiled at the crowd's cheers, deciding that now during the last part of halftime was when her plan for Jack and Sierra was to be put into motion.

Doing a high kick, Torryn along with the other girls made their way off the field, Torryn splitting away from the team and walking up to the announcer's podium located at the edge of the field just next to the stands.

Popping out a hip, Torryn leaned down placing a hand on the table as she smirked toward the student announcer.

Harold Williams was not exactly a popular student; however, he was one of the theatre geeks who often got a part in every play. He also had an undeniable soft spot for the star-tumbler of Memorial High alike to many of the guys at the school. Though, everyone knew Torryn did not do more than a quick hook up labeling her off-limits for many of the guys who were looking for more.

Blushing fiercely, Harold gulped when Torryn's long red mane fell down between the valley of her breasts, the teenage boy doing everything in his power to keep his eyes on her face and not anywhere else on her delicious body.

"Harold," Torryn sang in a happy tone, deciding to use his attraction for her to her advantage. "I need you to do me a favor."

"Yeah," Harold swallowed while trying to appear cool. "Anything."

A few minutes later, after Torryn had roped Harold into her plan, she had effectively taken the microphone and was now walking to the front of the crowd stands.

"Hey, hey, hey!" Torryn cheered speaking into the microphone gaining everyone's attention.

The cheer team looked to their teammate questionably, this having not been planned in any form of the way.

"What the hell?" Sierra muttered, Torryn knew that she had to run any football entertainment plans by Sierra first. It was not like Torryn to pull something like this, what was the girl up to?

"Hi, Torryn!" Smokescreen shouted from his spot, jumping up and hitting Optimus in the face with his flailing arms.

The Prime grumbled while pulling Smokescreen back down, Miko and Bulkhead both snickering at the interaction.

Waving to her guardian, Torryn smiled before doing a large motion to the huge screen which was currently playing live feeds from the game. "It looks we got ourselves a kiss cam!" The redhead yelled, smirking as the game footage turned into a live video feed of people in the audience.

Multiple people sitting next to each other flashed by the screen as they were put under the pressure to kiss. Torryn herself laughed loudly when a woman and man who were obviously not affiliated in any manner were put on the screen, the lady jumping on the man and nearly flattening him as she made out with the apparent stranger.

"There's a couple in the making!" Torryn cackled in the microphone before the clip ended and Sierra from where she stood at the edge of the field flashed onto the screen.

Her plan was working.

Sierra's eyes widened in surprise at seeing herself on the screen, the entire cheer team giggling at their captain's flustered face.

"Ooh," Torryn raced over to Sierra, grabbing the girl's hand as she pulled her toward the front of the stands, just a few feet away from where Jack, Miko, Raf, and the Autobots sat. "Looks like the cheer captain has been put under the fire, who will it be folks? Which lucky person will get a smooch from the cheerleader?" She said alike to a true announcer while the kiss cam went dark, the anticipation high for who would be placed to kiss Sierra.

"What are you doing?" Sierra hissed under her breath but kept a believable smile on her face for the point of the facade.

"You'll see," Torryn muttered back, making sure to keep the microphone away of her mouth while she spoke directly to Sierra.

In a matter of seconds, just as Torryn had told Harold to do, Jack Darby appeared on the screen from where he sat at the edge of the seats. Miko immediately wolf-whistled while Arcee patted the blushing boy on the back.

"Go get em' tiger." His guardian smirked as Jack slowly stood up with a blush.

Sierra herself stood petrified, knowing that Torryn had purposely done this. This was why Torryn had not told Sierra beforehand.

Despite how much Sierra tried to fight her, Torryn was easily able to drag Sierra toward Jack who was also standing frozen next to the seats where the Autobots, Miko, and Raf sat.

Placing the other redhead in front of Jack, Torryn began doing small dance moves around them as the song "Cowboy Casanova" played in the background of the kiss cam. Multiple girls on the cheer team had taken to videoing the large screen, everyone wanting Sierra to have the memories of her first kiss with her crush forever.

"Aw, c 'mon. We don't have all day, the game needs to start back up. Get in there you two!" Torryn hollered over the microphone, Sierra shaking her head at her friend before deciding to take a chance.

Smiling, Sierra leaned forward and suddenly her lips were on Jack's. The bubblegum tasting lips stirred Jack out of his oblivion, the boy immediately kissing back while wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Oh!" Torryn giggled in surprise as Sierra wrapped her own arms around Jack's neck, and suddenly her two friends were in a full-blown makeout session.

A few moments later, the two pulled away with disdain, not wanting to moment to end. However, considering they were currently being watched by everyone at the game, it seemed it was better to keep it short.

Breathing, Sierra finally gathered all her courage. "Jack, do you maybe want to go to the movies with me on Saturday night? We could see that new superhero movie?" Sierra, despite it being a long time, remembered how much she and Jack used to love comic books and action-packed thrillers when they were younger.

Smiling, Jack nodded his head. "Definitely."
