4 Days Later

It was an hour after Brian's funeral ended. Aaron stood in front of his father's grave, with Bobbi standing next to him.

Bobbi: You don't deserve this. No one does.

Aaron: (nods) Thanks.

???: Mr. O'Connor?

They turn to see George and Ethan walking towards them.

George: I'm detective George Stacy, this is my partner, Ethan Phillips. I'm truly sorry for your loss.

Aaron: Thank you.

George: (to Bobbi) Can you give us a minute?

Bobbi: (nods then turns to Aaron) I'll be in the car.

She leaves.

Aaron: Look, I'm not in the mood for an interrogation right-

Ethan: We know you're the Flash, kid.

Aaron: (shocked) W-What? (turns to George) Did Gwen tell you?

George: She didn't tell me. Ethan and I figured it out.

Aaron: (sighs)

Ethan: We won't tell anyone....You did all you could.

Aaron: It wasn't enough.

George: Look, Aaron...This job...We save as many lives as we can. Doesn't always mean everyone. The only thing you can do about it is to move on, otherwise maybe no one gets saved next time.

Aaron nods while still staring at his father's tombstone.

Ethan: We'll leave you alone now.

George and Ethan leave Aaron alone.

Aaron: I'm sorry, Dad, for not being able to save you....And I'm sorry...for what I'm going to do.

He leaves the cemetery.

The next day

Aaron, Jimmy, Gwen, Tony, and Mia were at the living room. Tony was holding a device in his hand.

Tony: These are nanites. They should slow him down long enough for us to capture Phillips. I made a power dampening cell. It's at a Stark Industries warehouse in downtown LA. All we have to do is find him.

Aaron: And make sure he doesn't hurt anyone else. (turns to Jimmy and Tony) Let me know if you find anything.

He leaves the living room and goes upstairs to his bedroom. The others looked at where he went concerned.

Mia: I'll talk to him.

She goes upstairs and goes into Aaron's bedroom. He was leaning against the wall.

Mia: You weren't talking about capturing Phillips, are you?

Aaron doesn't answer.

Mia: You want to kill him, don't you?

Aaron: (scoffs) Of course I want to kill him, Mom! He killed Dad! He wants to kill Gwen! This is the only way that we can make sure that no one goes through what I had to go through!

Mia: You don't mean that.

Aaron: Yes, I do!

Mia: (sighs) You're a lot of things, Aaron, but a killer isn't one of them.

Aaron: Guess I'll have to be one, then.

Mia: If you kill him, you'll be no better than he is.

Aaron goes to respond, but he couldn't find a response.

Suddenly, Aaron's phone rang. He looks at the screen and saw that it was Bobbi calling him

Aaron: Hey, Bobbi. What's up?

???: (on the phone) Nothing much, Flash.

Aaron paled once he recognized the voice.

Aaron: Viktor?

Viktor: (on the phone) The one and only. Y'know, it was really amusing to see you beg for your father's life. (laughs) The look on your face was priceless.

Aaron: (angrily) Where is she?

Viktor: (on the phone) Now, now, O'Connor. That's not nice. Don't worry about your girlfriend, she's safe, and she'll stay that way as long as you hold up your end.

Aaron: Do you really expect me to-

Viktor: (on the phone) Yes, I do. Because by the looks of it, you don't have a choice. 2 days, Flash. Tick Tock.

The line cuts off.

Jimmy: I got something!

Aaron and Mia go downstairs.

Aaron: What is it?

Tony: It's a S.H.I.E.L.D.-issue tracker. Two of them.

Gwen: Why would there be two S.H.I.E.L.D. trackers?

Aaron: Because Phillips has Bobbi.

Tony: (widens his eyes) What?!

Aaron: Yeah. (realizes) Where are those trackers?

Jimmy: They're both at a construction site in Inglewood.

Aaron: (smirks) Bobbi, you little sneak. She puts the trackers on herself and Phillips. (turns to Tony and puts his hand out) Give me the nanites.

Tony reluctantly gave him the nanites, and Aaron speeds off to Inglewood.

He arrives to see Bobbi chained up and Viktor standing in front of her.

Viktor: Well, well, well. (turns around) You here for Round 3, kiddo?

Aaron doesn't respond as he continues to glare at Viktor.

Viktor: (smirks) Okay, you're on.

Aaron rushed Viktor and punched him in the gut, but Viktor delivered an uppercut to Aaron's chin.

Aaron gets up immediately and ran towards Viktor, who swings at him. Aaron slides under Viktor's swing and slide tackles him onto the ground.

Using that opportunity, Aaron puts the nanites into Viktor's neck, and began punching him repeatedly. Not giving Viktor a chance to breath.

Aaron delivered punch after punch until Viktor's face was swollen up. He vibrates his hand, ready to deliver the final blow.

Viktor: (laughs) Go ahead, kill me. Avenge your daddy.

Aaron was breathing heavily in rage as he psyched himself up to kill the laughing lunatic.

Bobbi: Aaron?

Aaron turned around and saw Bobbi looking at him. She had a look of fear on her face as some tears fell out of her eyes.

Viktor: (laughs) Go on, kiddo... DO IT!!!

Aaron's hand stopped vibrating as he punched Viktor in the jaw, knocking him out.

He walked towards Bobbi and unchained her before he began sobbing.

Aaron: (crying) I'm sorry... I'm so, so sorry...

Bobbi hugged him as he cried on her shoulder. She rubbed his back as she tried to reassure him.

Bobbi: It's okay....It's okay...

Timeskip

Aaron, Bobbi, Tony, Jimmy, Gwen were at the warehouse, waiting for Viktor to wake up.

Gwen: You hit him hard, didn't you?

Aaron simply nods.

Suddenly, they heard the doors open behind them. They turn to see George, Ethan, and Mia walking towards them.

Gwen: Dad!

She ran towards George and hugged him tightly, and he does the same.

George: I'm so glad you're okay, baby girl.

They separated as Ethan ruffles Gwen's hair.

Ethan: Glad to see you're okay, shrimp.

Gwen: (groans) Come on, you know I hate it when you call me that.

Ethan: That's why I call you that.

The three laugh before they turned to Aaron.

George: Thank you for helping my daughter.

Aaron: You're very welcome.

George: (points to Viktor) Is that him?

Aaron: Yep. He's unconscious right now, so we'll have to wait until he wakes up.

George: (nods) It's alright. I have all the time in the world now.

He walks towards Tony and Jimmy to thank them.

Aaron: (to Ethan) We good now?

Ethan: (smiles) We're good.

He pats Aaron's shoulder before joining George.

Mia: You did the right thing.

Aaron: Yeah. Turns out you were right. I'm not him, so why should I stoop down to his level?

Mia: (smiles) I'm glad.

Bobbi walks towards them.

Bobbi: How are you feeling, Aaron?

Aaron: (sighs) I don't know.

He looks at the cell in suspicion.

Aaron: (shakes his head) I don't like this. I mean, the guy beat my ass twice. He's clearly better than me when it comes to combat. So why did it feel too easy to beat him?

Bobbi: Maybe he's losing his touch?

Aaron: I doubt it. He's planning something. I don't know what it is, but we need to keep our eyes open.

Bobbi: Alright. (turns to Mia) Come on.

The two left as Aaron stared at Viktor's unconscious form.

Aaron: What are you planning, Phillips?
