The next day

The quintet were in the loft, searching for anything.

Aaron was on the phone with Chloe, who told him something shocking.

Chloe: (on the phone) The guys you caught. They all had cyanide pills in their teeth.

Aaron: (shocked) What?

Chloe: (on the phone) Yeah. One of the guys survived long enough to say "Hail HYDRA", but that's about it. Sorry.

Aaron: (sighs) You got nothing to be sorry about. You did what you could. We all did.

Chloe: (on the phone) Okay. I'll keep digging, let you know if I find anything.

Aaron: Okay. Appreciate it, Chloe. Bye.

Chloe: (on the phone) Stay safe.

Aaron hangs up and returns to the rest of the quintet.

Jimmy: What's up?

Aaron: The guards we fought last night had cyanide pills in their teeth. None of them made it.

Yelena: Дерьмо! [Shit!]

Pietro: Guess we have our work cut out for us.

Aaron: Yep.

Suddenly, Gwen's Spider Sense blared.

Gwen: GET DOWN!

She tackled Jimmy to the ground as several gas canisters flew into the loft and sprayed gas.

The five began coughing before they began passing out due to the gas.

Eventually, the quintet passed out as several agents wearing gas masks entered, followed by an elderly woman who was wearing a gas mask of her own.

She glanced at the five, but her eyes lingered longer on Yelena and Aaron.

Elderly Woman: Load them up.

The agents carried the unconscious quintet out of the loft.

Meanwhile
Upstate New York

Natasha hadn't heard from Yelena for a few months, and she couldn't call Aaron, because he would send her and every other Avenger to voicemail.

She had just learned that a HYDRA cell was active in Los Angeles after Yelena, Aaron, Gwen, and Pietro took down several men at the docks last night.

???: Hey.

Natasha turned to see Rhodey approaching her.

Rhodey: The silent alarm in Aaron's loft went off, and...

Natasha: What?

Rhodey: You should see for yourself.

He activated a hologram that showed footage of Aaron's loft, and Natasha's eyes widened.

It showed Aaron, Pietro, Yelena, Gwen, and Jimmy getting knocked out by a gas.

Then several agents entered the loft, followed by an elderly woman.

Elderly Woman: (on footage) Load them up.

The agents took the five put of the apartment.

Natasha was shocked once she recognized that voice.

Natasha: Do you know where they were taken?

???: We're working on that right now.

Natasha and Rhodey turned to see Tony walking towards them.

Tony: We're doing everything we can.

Natasha nods.

Aaron groggily woke up and finds himself in a cell.

He approached the cell and tried to touch the bar before...

???: Don't.

He turns to see Gwen in a cell near him.

Gwen: Those bars have at least 400 volts of electricity flowing through them.

Aaron: Where are we?

Gwen: I don't know.

Jimmy: Oh, Jesus.

Pietro: Where's Yelena?

???: She is none of your concern now.

They turn to see an elderly woman walking towards them.

Madame B: Oh, where are my manners? You may call me Madame B.

Aaron's eyes widened as Madame B walked towards him.

Madame B: I hope you don't mind, I took some blood from you and your friend, Ms. Stacy. Or should I say Ghost Spider?

Gwen: What the hell?

Jimmy: Why do you need their blood?

Madame B: There is one word that will suffice as you answer: Savitar.

Aaron's eyes widened when he heard that name.

Pietro: What does that mean?

Aaron: HYDRA once wanted to take me and turn me into a brainwashed weapon like they did to Bucky Barnes. Project Savitar, they called it.

Madame B: Correct, Mr. O'Connor. Now, seeing that taking you would be unnecessarily risky, as you might have regained your memories and you consciousness, I thought it best to make a clone with your blood and Ms. Stacy's. The perfect weapon.

Aaron: And Yelena? What'll happen to her?

Madame B: She'll become what a former pupil of mine could not. I'm sure you know who I am referring to.

Aaron: Natasha.

Madame B: Correct. Cherish what few moments you have left of your lives. Once we have what we need, you won't be needed.

She leaves the dungeon.

Aaron looked around and assessed his options.

He couldn't phase, they probably have a contingency for that.

He doesn't even know where they are.

There's probably a hundred guards in whatever shithole this is.

They were doomed.

Suddenly, alarms blared around the facility.

Jimmy: What's going on?

Pietro: Whatever it is, I hope it's good for us.

The lights suddenly went out. They knew exactly what that meant.

Gwen: It's good for us.

She grabbed the bars and pulled them apart until there a big enough gap for her to slip through.

Gwen went to Aaron's cell and did the same. She did so with Jimmy and Pietro, freeing them all.

They heard footsteps approaching them as Aaron wastes no time and charges at who it was. He stopped himself when the figure revealed themselves to be...

Aaron: Natasha?

Natasha: Oh, thank God, you're okay.

Gwen: Wait, if you're here, then...

Natasha: Tony and Steve are here, too. Come on, we have to go find Yelena.

Aaron: Wait, there's something else!

Natasha: What is it?

Jimmy: This Madame Bitch took blood samples from Aaron and Gwen. She's making a clone of them.

Natasha: Then we can't let that happen. (turns to Aaron) Tony wanted me to give you this.

She handed Aaron a familiar emblem

Aaron was shocked and confused. He thought he destroyed it. But why would Tony give him the emblem?

Natasha: Put it on your chest and tap it twice.

Aaron took a deep breath before taking off his inhibitor watch and placing the emblem on his chest and tapping it twice.

Once he did that, his Flash suit formed itself around Aaron's body.

Pietro: So what now?

Aaron: You find the clone and destroy it. I will find Yelena. Gwen, get Jimmy out of here. Natasha, you find Madame B and take her out.

Natasha: Already planning on it.

Aaron: Alright, let's move!

They all went to do their jobs.
