Jimmy: (on comms) Speeding car on Nordhoff Street. Three goons shooting back at the cops.

Aaron: On my way.

Aaron sped off to find the speeding car chases by a dozen police cruisers. He quickly took the goons out of the car, then pushed him hand on the brake pedal to stop it. He went back to the goons and zip-tied the three of them to a lamp post.

The cops stop and take care of the goons:

Cop: Thanks for the help, Flash.

Aaron: No worries. Just doing what I can.

Jimmy: (on comms) Think I got something. Looks like a bunch of goons jumping a kid.

Aaron: On it. (turns to the cop) Duty calls.

He speeds off to an alleyway to find a five goons, armed with crowbars, pipes, and bats, cornering a kid. Aaron was about to handle them until a woman jumped in and took down two of them with two batons.

She put her two batons together to form a staff and quickly took down the other three.

She turned to the kid to check on him, but Aaron saw one of the goons get up and grab a bat, so he took out the goon before he could swing at the woman.

Aaron: It takes five people to jump a kid?

???: Yeah, some people are assholes.

The woman turned to face Aaron, whose eyes widened when he recognized her.

???: (turns to the kid) Alright, kid, call the cops, tell them what happened.

The kid nodded and ran out of the alley.

Aaron: Bobbi?

Bobbi: Hey, Aaron. Been a while.

(A/N: The suit Bobbi is wearing)

Aaron: Wh-what are you doing here?

Bobbi: I came to see you.

Aaron: (eyes her suspiciously) Something tells me you're not here just to hang out with me.

Bobbi: Yeah. Let's talk somewhere else.

Aaron: Okay.

He walks to Bobbi and holds the back of her neck.

Bobbi: (confused) What are you doing?

Aaron: I'm holding your neck so you don't get whiplash.

Bobbi: (confused) What?

Aaron: (leans closer to Bobbi's ear) Whiiiiplaaaaash.

He runs off, while holding Bobbi's neck, to a rooftop. When they got there, Bobbi take off her mask while Aaron takes off his cowl.

Bobbi: Whoo! Okay! That was crazy!

Aaron: You'll get used to it. So, what did you want to talk about?

Bobbi: S.H.I.E.L.D. wants you to come in.

Aaron: Why?

Bobbi take out a file and gives it to Aaron. The front of the file has a picture of a blue cube.

TESSERACT

Bobbi: That is the Tesseract. It's a...I don't really know what it is exactly, but I know that it can used as an energy source. That's was HYDRA used to make their weapons in World War 2. it was fished out of the Arctic Ocean by Howard Stark when he was out looking for Steve Rogers.

Aaron looked at the profiles of other people and his eyes widened when he saw someone's character profile.

Steve Rogers.

Aaron: (shocked) Captain America's alive?

Bobbi: Yeah. He was on cryogenic stasis for 70 years after he crashed into the Atlantic in 1945.

Aaron: Wow.

Bobbi: (sighs) Less than 24 hours ago, a man named Loki turned up and took the Tesseract. Even managed to brainwash several scientists and other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents into helping him...

Aaron: Loki? As in the Norse god of mischief?

Bobbi: That's what he called himself, yeah.

Aaron looked at Bobbi and noticed her demeanor was one of sadness.

Aaron: One of the people that Loki's brainwashed...are they someone close to you?

Bobbi: (nods) Yeah, he's one of the people who taught me everything I know.

Aaron: ...I'm sorry.

Bobbi: Thanks.

Aaron: (hands Bobbi back the file) I'm in.

Bobbi: (surprised) Really? Just like that?

Aaron: (smirks) Just like that.

Bobbi: (smiles) Great. There's a quinjet waiting for us 5 miles west of here.

Aaron: Alright. (hold Bobbi's neck) Hold on.

They speed off to the quinjet.

With Steve

A quinjet was flying above the ocean, with Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, and agent Phil Coulson inside.

Pilot: We're about 40 minutes from home base, sir.

Coulson gets up from his seat and approaches Steve, who was watching videos of Bruce Banner as the Hulk.

Steve: So this Dr. Banner was trying to replicate the serum they used on me?

Coulson: A lot of people were. You were the world's first superhero. Banner thought gamma radiation might hold the key to unlocking Erskine's original formula.

Steve: Didn't really go his way, did it?

Coulson: Not so much. When he's not that thing, though, the guy's like a Stephen Hawking.

Steve looked at Coulson in confusion, not knowing who Stephen Hawking is.

Coulson: He's like a...smart person.

Steve looks back at the tablet and slowly swipes to a different video.

A video of the Flash at the Stark Expo two years ago.

Steve: What about that kid? O'Connor?

Coulson: He's a very interesting case. He got struck by lighting made by the arc reactor explosion in 2008. Put him in a coma for nine months. The Flash popped up in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s radar in '09, took about a year for us to figure out who the man behind the mask is. Kid's 16, now, and he's been making a name for himself for the past three years.

Steve looked at the video in amusement. The kid's had his power since he was 12, and he's doing well so far.

Coulson: I gotta say, it's an honor to meet you officially.

Steve softly smiles.

Coulson: I've sort of met you. I mean, I watched you while you were sleeping

(A/N: That sounds creepy and weird out of context)

Steve looks down in embarrassment as he gets up and looks out the cockpit window, with Coulson following him.

Coulson: I mean, I was present while you were unconscious from the ice. You know, it's just really a huge honor to have you on board on this...

Steve: I hope I'm the man for the job.

Coulson: Oh, you are. Absolutely. We made some modifications to the uniform. I had a little design input.

Steve: The uniform? Aren't the stars and stripes a little...old-fashioned?

Coulson: With everything that's happening...and the things that are about to come to light, people might just need a little old fashioned.

With Aaron

Aaron was sleeping on the quinjet.

???: Hey, wake up.

Aaron was shook awake by Bobbi.

Bobbi: We're here.

Aaron got up and looked out of the window to see an aircraft carrier.

The quinjet lands as the rear ramp was opened as a red-headed woman stood outside of it.

Bobbi: Hey, Natasha.

Natasha: Hey, Bobbi.

Bobbi and Natasha hug as Aaron walked out of the quinjet, looking around in awe. Natasha noticed him and walked towards him.

Natasha: You must be Aaron. (puts her hand out) I'm Natasha.

Aaron: (shakes Natasha's hand nervously) Hey Aaron, I'm Natasha...That didn't sound right.

Bobbi and Natasha chuckle.

Aaron: Sorry, I just get nervous sometimes.

Natasha: It's alright. Come on, we got a fossil to pick up.

Bobbi and Aaron follow Natasha to another quinjet that Coulson and Steve were exiting.

Coulson: Stow the Captain's gear.

S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent: Yes, sir.

Coulson and Steve turn to Natasha, Bobbi, and Aaron.

Coulson: Agent Romanoff, Agent Morse, Mr. O'Connor, (gestures to Steve) Captain Rogers.

Steve: Ma'am, miss, O'Connor.

Natasha & Bobbi: Hi.

Aaron: Wow. (puts his hand out) I-It's an honor to meet you, Captain.

Steve: (shake Aaron's hand) Thank you, Aaron.

Natasha: (turns to Coulson) They need you on the bridge, they're starting the face-trace. (turns to Bobbi) Bobbi, go with him.

Bobbi: Sure thing.

Coulson: See you there.

Coulson and Bobbi head inside while Natasha, Steve, and Aaron walk on the deck.

Natasha: It was quite the buzz around here, finding you in the ice. I thought Coulson was gonna swoon. Did he ask you to sign his Captain America trading cards yet?

Steve & Aaron: Trading cards?

Natasha: They're vintage. He's very proud.

Aaron: (chuckles) Can't say I blame him.

The three saw Bruce Banner walking around.

Steve: Dr. Banner.

Bruce turns to see Natasha, Steve, and Aaron walking towards him.

Bruce: Uh, yeah, hi. (shakes Steve's hand) They told me you'd be coming. (turns to Aaron) You too, kid.

Aaron: It's a pleasure to meet you, Doctor. Your work on induced gamma ray logging is just incredible.

Bruce: (stunned) You read the whole thing?

Aaron: Yep!

Steve: (chuckles) Word is, you can find the Cube.

Bruce: Is that the only word on me?

Steve: Only word I care about.

Aaron: The Cube emits a small amount of gamma radiation, so, who better to track it down than you?

Bruce: (smiles softly) Appreciate it. (turns to Steve and gestures around the deck) It must be strange for you, all of this.

Steve: (looks around) Well, this is actually kind of familiar.

Natasha: Gentlemen, you might want to step inside in a minute. It's going to get a little hard to breathe.

A loud mechanical whirring was heard as the P.A. announces for the flight crew to secure the deck.

Aaron looked around and saw some of the crew tying the jets onto the deck.

Steve: Is this a submarine?

Aaron: Can't be. If it was, they'd be taking those jets inside instead of tying them outside.

Bruce: (scoffs) Really? They want me in a submerged, pressurized, metal container?

The three walk to the edge and looked sown to see turbines protruding from the side.

The turbine activate as the Helicarrier is taking off into the air.

Aaron: It flies now.

Bruce: No, no, this is much worse.

Aaron: We should get inside.

Aaron walk away from the edge, with Steve and Bruce following him.

The three follow Natasha into the bridge, leaving Aaron and Steve in awe of what they're seeing.

Hill: All engines operating. S.H.I.E.L.D. emergency protocol 193.6 in effect. (turns to Fury) We're at level, sir.

Fury: Good. Let's vanish.

Hill: Engage retro-reflective panels.

A few moments passed as the reflection panels were fully engaged, rendering the Helicarrier invisible to the naked eye.

Fury: (turns around) Gentlemen.

He walks towards Aaron, Steve, and Bruce as Steve takes out a $10 dollar bill and gives it to Fury.

Aaron looks around the bridge in awe.

Aaron: This is incredible.

???: You ain't seen nothing yet.

He turns to see Bobbi.

Bobbi: Enjoying the view?

Aaron: (smiles) Yeah, you could say that.

Fury: (to Bruce) (puts his hand out) Doctor, thank you for coming.

Bruce: (hesitantly shakes Fury's hand) Thanks for asking nicely. So, uhh...How long am I staying?

Fury: Once we get our hands on the Tesseract, you're in the wind.

Aaron: Uh huh, and where are you guys with that?

Coulson: We're sweeping every wirelessly accessible camera on the planet. Cell phones, laptops...If it's connected to a satellite, it's eyes and ears for us.

Natasha: That's still not gonna find them in time, even with Aaron's super-speed.

Aaron: It won't if your field of search is too big.

Bruce: He's right, you have to narrow your field. (turns to Fury) How many spectrometers do you have access to?

Fury: How many are there?

Bruce: Call every lab you know. (takes off his jacket) Tell them to put the spectrometers on the roof and calibrate them for gamma rays. I'll rough out a tracking algorithm, basic cluster recognition. At least, we could rule out a few places.

Aaron: I can help with the algorithm if you want, doc. That's kind of my thing.

Bruce: I could use an extra pair of hands, so yeah, you can help. (turns to Fury) Do you have somewhere for us to work?

Fury: (turns to Natasha) Agent Romanoff, could you show Dr. Banner and Mr. O'Connor to their laboratory, please?

Natasha walks past Bruce and Aaron and gestures them to follow her.

Natasha: You're gonna love it, boys. We got all the toys.

Bruce and Aaron begin to follow her.

Bobbi: I'll let you know if we got something.

Aaron: Thanks, Bobbi.

Aaron joins Banner in finding the Tesseract.
