Lillie followed Mikey to his room and she stuck close to the orange masked turtle since she didn't want to wind up getting lost in the spacious place, once at Mikey's room, Mikey let go of Lillie's hand and he went through some boxes of his art and crafts stuff with a happy hum. "Let's see, I know they're here somewhere.." Mikey hummed a bit.

"You really like arts and crafts.." Lillie said, she looked at the different art supplies Mikey kept in his room before she found a stack of different sketchbooks or papers with different drawings and sketches drawn on them, it was mostly graffiti but also occasional drawings of his brothers that he'd make now and then.

"Who doesn't? When everyone sees just a bunch of different supplies, I see a wave of creation and possibilities!" Mikey said, waving an arm as he had little stars in his eyes while Lillie gave a giggle and she seemed to understand Mikey's creative expression.

Mikey moved more supplies around before his eyes lit up as he grabbed two water color paint sets and set them aside, then grabbing a few remaining sheets of watercolor paper and he handed five pages to Lillie along with one of the watercolor paint palettes.

Lillie gently grabbed both items and Mikey got back up with a soft hum as he then handed Lillie a small paint brush. "I'll be back in a second!" Mikey chimed, he left the room and went to get to get some water from the kitchen along with some snacks. Lillie waited patiently and she gave a soft sigh, she wasn't used to so much kindness ever since she had been admitted into the many orphanages.

Lillie was lost in her thoughts and she ended up spacing out as she softly gripped her sleeves, her mind began to wonder off again to something she had to witness when she was with the dragons.

Flashback

Lillie was in a secret room as she busy sorting through the different parts that Kendra asked her to organize for new drones and she smiled a little to herself quietly, soon she started to hear some commotion in the computer lab and her expression changed into a slightly worried one.

Lillie went to the door to the computer lab and she quietly opened it enough to peek inside, Lillie watched quietly as she saw Kendra and Jason were talking.

However she couldn't exactly understand what they were talking about, Lillie's eyes widened when she saw Kendra smack Jason hard in the face, enough to knock him down to the floor and leave a harsh bruise, he flinched when Kendra forced him back up onto his feet. Lillie covered her mouth with one hand and she moved away from the door as she pressed her back against the wall, her hands shaking.

Lillie heard footsteps coming to the door and the door opened up more as Lillie froze and looked over to see Kendra found her, Kendra grabbed Lillie by her hair and pulled her somewhere else.

Lillie gave a cry and she tried to get away but she was thrown back into the hidden room she was put in, Lillie looked at Kendra who glared down at her with such hatred.

"Let this be a lesson to you, sunflower. This is what happens when you walk in on my 'friendly' conversations. Now you're going to stay locked in here the whole night sorting." Kendra stated, she then shut the door and Lillie tried to reach it before it shut completely but it was too late, the lock clicking as Lillie pounded on the door.

"Kendra, please! Let me out! I'm sorry! I-I.. I won't intervene! Please! Let me out! I'm sorry! I.. I'm sorry.." Lillie collapsed onto her knees as tears pricked at her eyes while she heard Kendra walk away from the door, Lillie started to cry quietly and she pulled her legs to her chest as she hid her face while mumbling 'I'm sorry' over and over again.

End of Flashback

Lillie stayed lost in her thoughts and she didn't know it but she had tears falling down her cheeks as she faintly heard a voice which snapped her out of her dazed state even if it would be for a brief moment.

"Lillie? Is something wrong?" Mikey asked, he came back with two cups of water for the watercolor paints and had a bag of chips under his arm. He saw Lillie shake her head and wipe her eyes dry of any tears as he sat down next to her, setting the cups down along with the bag of chips.

"Y..yeah, just spacing out." Lillie mumbled, she looked at Mikey for a moment as she calmed down after a bit and she then went back to focusing on the watercolor painting. Mikey however wasn't buying into the whole situation that Lillie was okay, but he didn't want to pry into her life so much otherwise the kid would shut herself down again.

Lillie began to make a watercolor painting of a dark room and she stayed quiet as Mikey would glance over at Lillie's painting now and then, his heart broke when he saw the painting was of Lillie in a dark room. "Lillie, you sure you don't wanna talk to me?" Mikey asked, his voice laced with worry.

"I'm sure, I just.. I needed a minute. I'm fine." Lillie said, she was lying yet again as she didn't notice it but her hand was trembling and Mikey's eyes softened as he took ahold of the kid's hand after gently grabbing the paintbrush to set aside. "You're not okay Lillie, you're shaking." Mikey stated.

Lillie went silent and she looked conflicted as Mikey decided to pull the Dr. Feelings card, he let go of Lillie's hand for a moment and then exited the room as Lillie watched him leave but soon saw the orange mask turtle return in a different outfit. "What the..?" Lillie mumbled, confused why Mikey wore something different.

"Hello Lillie, I'm Dr. Feelings! I just wanna talk with you, if you're okay about it." Mikey said, he then sat back down next to Lillie as he adjusted his glasses for a moment.

He then grabbed Lillie's painting and pointed to the girl in the drawing. "This is supposed to represent you, isn't it? Why did you draw yourself in a dark room?" Mikey asked, being curious as to why Lillie drew such a upsetting picture.

Lillie looked away and she hugged her legs to her chest as she wanted to get the words out but she like like her breath was caught in her throat, Mikey picked up the hesitation and he softly put a hand on Lillie's back which made her flinch. "It's okay Lillie, you know you're safe here. Nothing and nobody is gonna hurt you here." Mikey said.

Lillie covered her mouth with one hand and she started to cry as she muffled her cries, the tears kept falling as Mikey gently pulled Lillie into his arms and he made small circles on her back as he felt the child trembling in his arms. "Shh.. you're okay Lillie, I've got you." Mikey hummed softly.

Lillie sniffled and whimpered as she hid her face and she eventually uncovered her mouth as small hiccup like cries slipped past her lips, Mikey kept comforting Lillie and he reassured her that she was safe as the crying caught the other brothers attention so they went to Mikey's room to see what happened.

Leo quietly peeked his head into the room and he saw Mikey in his Dr. Feelings gear holding Lillie and comforting her to the best of his ability, Mikey was more in tune with others emotions and much more empathetic so he connected with others emotions so easily. "Everything okay in here Mike?" Leo asked.

"Lillie's going through some trauma from what I can tell." Mikey said, he looked at his blue masked brother as Raph and Donnie then peeked into the room before Donnie took notice of the painting Lillie made, he walked over and picked it up.

"What kind of trauma?" Raph asked, arching a brow bone in confusion as he thought that this kid didn't have any other trauma except for losing her parents. He and Leo then saw the painting Donnie held and walked over to get a better look at it. "Eugh boy.. that's unsettling." Leo winced.

"Could this be results of one of her said traumatic experiences?" Donnie asked, he looked at Mikey who gave a small nod.

"Sh..she. She locked me in.." Lillie mumbled, she softly gripped Mikey's sweater and she hated remembering about all the horrible things that Kendra had done to her whenever she would wind up too curious or ended up seeing something that she shouldn't have. The brothers looked at Lillie with shock as they couldn't believe what they were hearing.

"Kendra would lock me in.. she'd leave me in the secret room, she pulled at my hair, tugged at my arm.. it hurts.." Lillie sniffled a little as she remembered every punishment that Kendra would give her but being locked away was the one punishment that terrified her.

"Lillie.." Mikey breathed out and he couldn't believe what he was hearing and neither could his brothers as they were shocked that Kendra had to hurt a child, Raph gave a quiet growl and he punched the wall which left an imprint. "How could someone just do something so heartless like that?!" Raph snapped, he saw that Lillie clung to Mikey and he calmed down before he scared the kid even more.

"Lillie, can you come with me to the medbay? I just want to check up on something." Leo said, he held a hand out for her and Lillie gave a silent nod as she let go of Mikey for a moment and she went to Leo.

Leo gently picked up Lillie and he took her to the medbay as he felt horrible that Lillie had to be subjected to so much pain, especially for her age. Raph, Mikey and Donnie followed behind the two as Donnie was lost in his thoughts, he couldn't believe that his theory was right.

Once in the medbay, Leo put Lillie on a chair while the others waited outside the medbay and Leo then went over to a special scanner on a charging pad as he grabbed it and then went to Lillie. "What's that?" Lillie asked.

"This is a scanner that Donnie made, it's like an X-ray machine but much smaller. It's gonna take a picture of your bones, just stay perfectly still okay?" Leo said, Lillie nodded and she stayed still as Leo activated the scanner and he scanned Lillie from head to toe as he then turned to look at the large monitor Donnie had installed so he could see the damage.

"Alright, good job Lillie. Why don't you go play while I talk with my brothers?" Leo suggested, he figured that his brothers would want to see the damage that happened and he went over to the monitor. "Okay..!" Lillie chirped out.

Lillie climbed down from the chair and she ran off back to Mikey's room as the other brothers walked into the medbay as Leo gave a soft sigh, Donnie went over to his twin and glanced at the monitor showing Lillie's X-ray. "How bad is it?" Mikey asked.

"It's a lot worse than I though, take a look." Leo sighed, he then motioned to some of the reformation in Lillie's left wrist, the darker spots on the X-ray were circled by Leo to show that they were bruises and even finding that Lillie's ankle had been twisted at one point.

"Oh man, that IS bad.." Raph mumbled, looking over the X-ray as Mikey covered his mouth with hid hands while Donnie shook his head in disbelief.

"This kid was used as a punching bag, we could be looking at months of physical abuse here." Donnie said, he sighed softly and Leo gave a nod in understanding but it seemed to be much more than just physical abuse.

"Not just that, she seems emotionally abused as well. No wonder, she was terrified of us." Mikey managed to talk after getting himself together.

"We can't let Kendra get her again, she's this keen on getting this chip back and if Lillie is somehow involved with this plan then Lillie is in serious danger." Donnie said, he wasn't going to just let Kendra hurt anyone else and Leo agreed with Donnie as all four brothers made an agreement.

"We'll keep the kiddo safe and help her recover, are we in agreement?" Raph asked, he saw his brothers nod and Raph told Mikey that he would be in charge of therapy sessions with Lillie so the kid would be more comfortable with someone to talk to.

Mikey nodded a bit and eventually after their talk, they split up as Mikey went back to Lillie to check on her, Donnie went to his lab to think, Raph went to get some training in after the upsetting news he had heard.

Leo stayed in the medbay while he looked over the X-ray and one hand balled into a fist. "Don't worry Lil's. We aren't gonna let anything else happen to you." Leo whispered.
