author's note

my dear readers,

it's been a hot minute since I updated this story, or have been active on wattpad in general. there's several reasons for this.

as I'm sure you all can relate to, there's been a lot going on in the world over the last few. not only that, but there's also been lots going on in my life. health wise, and relationship wise. I have still been writing, just not this story. but I'd like to clarify that I am okay, and actually alive haha

i'll be completely honest, muse for this story has completely dropped. it isn't that I don't know where the story is going, because I do. I have everything planned out for infinity war. its a pretty detailed plan. the main issue is that I've come to dislike my portrayal of canon characters as well as my oc. 

not saying this as a way to seek validation, but rather as a way to be honest. I'm going to be productive about it, because too many of you have reached out for me to leave this story unfinished.

so I will finish remedy. it'll just be a slow process. here's my plan:

1) finish major edits. I'm already most of the way through with this. this mainly includes editing character dialogue and thought so it fits more with canon. mostly concentrating on steve with this. also attempting to make sadie's philosophy more cohesive. this may take a while though, I'm only half way through over 150,000 words worth of content. if there's any major plot changes, I will update you all again. but so far, that isn't the case.

2) draft infinity war, and post-infinity war content. I want to write enough that I have a bank of updates to fall back on once I start updating again. this way I'll be able to keep up with the weekly schedule I was so consistent with before. luckily, I have all of it planned in quite a lot of detail, so I'll be able to follow the plans as guidance

3) plan the rest of the story. I already have a few excerpts and scenes written for what will happen, but I need to do a thorough plan in accordance with the films. this will be the quickest step, it usually only takes a few days

4) once these things are done, then I will start posting again on a weekly basis, editing as I go. this way, there's consistency and you don't have to worry I'll drop off the face of the earth again. prewritten chapters will definitely be posted.

mostly sharing this as a way to hold myself accountable. I can't give you guys a time frame that these tasks will be done, but I can tell you that I'm starting from today. I do apologise for my absence. I have no clue if there's even any of you left, but if there is, thanks for reading this.
