𝘼 𝙎𝙀𝘼𝙎𝙄𝘿𝙀 𝙏𝙊𝙒𝙉 𝙒𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀 𝙒𝙄𝙉𝘿𝙎 𝙈𝙀𝙀𝙏

the two teens arrived in seaside town, a grassy path with wooden electrical posts wrapped around by green vines. there is no houses nor shops for them to ask directions. it was a little exciting because it felt like they were stepping into an unfamiliar town. "the air here feels so crisp. the breeze during the summer really does feel nice~" [name] held her hair to avoid the wind trying to mess her hair.

"good thing the sun is out today." amane glanced at the blue sky above them. "so where's the sunflower field?"

"i really don't know, it's best if we explore the place ourselves." [name] puts her hands behind her back as they search around the place. amane tucked his hands inside his pockets while walking next to [name], somehow his heart was pounding inside his chest—maybe he was nervous that he they're alone together.

and those shoulders. amane quickly looked away realizing that he has been staring at her for long. [name] noticed his behavior and chuckled. "there's a field of yellow flowers right there." she pointed. "we should go check it out."

"i'm pretty sure those are not sunflowers, [name]." amane grinned but he followed her so that she wouldn't get lost. "plus, those are just boarding houses, we won't find the field there." he said. honestly, both of them had no sense of direction—it's like they're walking mindlessly around the area. they might even find rice fields and mulberry bushes but still no sunflower fields.

"since this is a seaside town, there must be a beach nearby?" [name] says while using her common sense. amane nodded in agreement as they both agreed to head to the beach. there are many places in this area that offers a scenic view. [name] took pictures using her camera as they walked. "let's rest for a bit."

amane and [name] sat on a bench to take a rest. "it's been a while since we've hung out together like this." [name] pulls out her water bottle from her tote bag and chugged down half of the bottle.

"i agree, usually the walks we take together after school counts as a hang out for me." amane grabbed his own water bottle and drank, even he looks attractive while drinking water.

'hold up did i just say that?!' [name] stared at her lap while her eyes swirled from the intrusive thought, she wished that it was the summer heat that made her face heat up but no, she was flustered. she grabbed herself the bottle of water—not realizing that it was amane's and took a sip.

amane wiped his sweat using a cotton towel that he brought along for the trip, then taking [name]'s bottle by accident. [name] sighed in relief after being refreshed from drinking water—then it faded once she realized she took amane's bottle. "...!"

'wait this is amane's—what the heck? we accidentally drank each other's water bottle!'

amane pulled away from the bottle, he glanced at the bottle in realization. "ah, i accidentally drank yours." he said in a calm tone. amane blinked twice before he reacted in disbelief. "eh?! did we just switched water bottles?!" he exclaimed with a blush.

"i-it's no big deal..." [name] was probably dizzy thinking that she and amane had an indirect kiss from the bottles. she fanned her face to calm down her blush. "i'm sorry for drinking yours!"

"it's fine [name]." amane assured.

"but we have an indirect kiss—!" [name] complained, despite being a highschool student she still believes in the concept of sharing bottles as an indirect kiss. "i shouldn't be concerned about that matter—"

"would you like to kiss directly, then?"

"eh?" [name] raised her eyebrow, she swore that she heard amane mumble something but she couldn't make up what it is. "did you say something amane-kun?" yeah, it's probably because of how loudly her heart is beating inside her ribcage.

"nevermind, it's nothing." amane waved his hand. he stood up from the bench and offered her a hand. "come on, we should continue." he said.

[name] takes his hand, like a princess being escorted by a prince. the two of them continued walking—the whistling winds passing by and the clouds above that was following them is enough for this summer to feel so beautiful.
