Everyone was pumped from the upcoming sports festival, they'd all begun their individual training and some even chose to train together. And thus, the next few days were a blur for Kourin, they still had normal classes but aside from that she trained intensely with Adan, but chose to hold back with Bakugo, Kirishima and her friends, which consisted of Tokoyami, Sero and Asui though there were many that wanted to train with her. When she was training with them, she made sure to only use her elemental quirk as she didn't want them to know about her other quirks. With all the training and schoolwork, she was exhausted and she hadn't been getting much sleep. Imagine her joy when school finally ended and it was finally time for her well earned rest. "We should start training together Sho." A yawn escaped her lips as she slung her bag over her shoulder.

"Maybe when you're more well rested," he took notice of the tired look on her face. "I hear you've started training with a few from our class."

"I have," she nodded, "why don't you interact more, Sho?" She asked leaning against her desk.

"I don't need to. I have you," was his simple response, which caused her cheeks to flush a light pink. Pursuing her lips, she punched his shoulder before walking to the door where everyone'd seemed to stop.

"Wh— what's going on?" Uraraka burst out, in shock of the crowd that'd gathered in front of their classroom.

"What business do you have with Class A?" Iida asked.

"We can't get out!" Mineta complained, "what'd you come here for anyway?"

"Scouting out the enemy, small fry. We're the ones who made it out of the villains' attack. They probably wanna check us out before the sports festival." Bakugo answered, appearing behind the brunette. "Training today," he told her, earning a groan. "Hah?! What're you complaining for?!"

"I'm fucking tired. Let me sleep, meathead," she groaned, grabbing onto his blazer.

"Fine," he reluctantly agreed. "Rest today, but training tomorrow," giving her cheek a squeeze, he stopped in front of the crowd. "There's no point in doing stuff like that. Out of my fucking way, extras!"

"Stop calling people extras just because you don't know them!" Iida scolded whilst Midoriya and Uraraka looked shocked at his behaviour.

Kourin was indifferent, she knew the boy too well for that. "You're never going to be able to change that meathead, class rep," another yawn escaping her lips.

"I came to see what the famous Class A was like, but you seem pretty arrogant," a boy with hair similar to Midoriya's, only indigo, pushed past the crowd, moving to the front to face the cocky ash blond boy. "Are all students in the hero course like this?" Everyone behind him had began shaking their head, whilst he looked angered. "Seeing something like this makes me disillusioned," he said, rubbing the back of his neck.

Is this going to be long?  Was all the tired brunette could think as she leaned against the table, trying not to fall asleep. Todoroki noticed the half asleep girl and slowly made his way over to her, standing next to her as a sort of support in case she did fall asleep. "Thanks Sho.."

"There are quite a few people who enrolled in general studies or other courses because they didn't make it into the hero course. Did you know that?" Shinsou's gaze flickered to the brunette in the background, whose eyes were half lidded. He knew her. He'd met her before. "The school had left those of us a chance. Depending on the results of the sports festival, they'll consider our transfer into the hero course. And it seems they may also transfer people out," his purple hues scanned the students that resided in the class. "Scouting out the enemy? I, at least, came to say that even if you're in the hero course, if you get too carried away, I'll sweep your feet out from under you. I came with a declaration of war," silence enveloped the room for a moment but it was short lived.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey! I'm from Class B next door! I heard you fought against villains, so I came to hear 'bout it! Don't get so full of yourself!" He shouted amidst the crowd, "if you bark too much, it'll be embarrassing for you during the real fight!"

Not really caring for the situation Bakugo turned away from them, ready to leave. Before he could, Kirishima ran in front of him. "Wait a minute, Bakugo! What're you going to do about all this? It's your fault that everyone's hating on us!"

"It doesn't matter." Was his blunt response, glancing back at him. He looked to the crowd of students that were block the path. "It doesn't matter as long as you rise to the top." Shooting the half asleep brunette one last glance, he pushed past the crowd and walked off.

Kourin moved away from the half and half boy, stretching out her limbs. "If you want to take our spots in the hero course, bring it on. But we're not going to give it up without a fight," she stated nonchalantly, and not wanting to deal with the crowd, she walked to the back door and exited from there.

As soon as she'd gotten home from school, she crashed into her bed immediately knocking out but once she'd woken up, around three hours from midnight she changed and went straight for a jog, and it was a long jog too. By the time the brunette decided that she was done, her stomach had begun growling. Time to eat.

Honestly, she didn't know were she was but she'd seen a convenience store awhile back and it was one of the good ones. It had everything she was craving at the moment. "Mhm, hot food... ramen, bentos... chips and chocolate, too bad there aren't any boba stores open."

This convenience store was the closest to his house and he'd just gone out to buy a small meal since he'd forgotten to eat, too preoccupied about the upcoming sports festival. And the last thing he expected to see was the recently injured brunette, a person he admired and looked up to. His red hues eyes landed on her body, the clothes she wore made her look older than she seemed, a fitted sports bra and high waisted leggings that accentuated her every curve.

"Fumikage!" She called out, snapping him out of his thoughts, "I didn't expect to see you here."

"Neither did I, do you live around here?" He asked, approaching her with his hands in his pockets.

Kourin brought out her phone and checked where she was, "not really, maybe like a twenty minute drive, but an hours walks."

She was out that far from home? This late? And she looked like she was just jogging too. He tried to resist staring at her body but instead looked into her heterochromatic eyes, maintaining eye contact. "What brings you here?"

As strong and as blunt as she was, maintaining eye contact always seemed to be a problem with her, "I was jogging, taking random turns and I ended up around here. I got hungry so, here I am. And yourself?"

"Same. I was hungry," he said.

"Do you wanna maybe eat together?" A small smile graced her features as she wiped the sweat from her forehead. "It's okay if you don't. I just thought maybe... plus there's chairs outside."

Eating with her? His heart had beating faster at the thought. "I don't mind. My treat."

She rose an eyebrow, "it's really no big deal, my cards on my phone."

Tokoyami shook his head, "it's fine. We're training together aren't we? Consider it a thank you and as payment," he said walking over to the hot food area.

"I don't need to be paid for training with you, it's what... friends do right? But, if it's a thank you, I suppose I can't refuse. It'll be my treat next time though." Kourin spoke softly and grabbed two bento boxes containing chicken, two rice balls and three cups chicken nuggets.

She sure eats a lot for someone with a small, petite body... He couldn't help but think as he grabbed a bento box himself before heading to the counter and paying for everything.

"You probably think I eat a lot right?" She said, voicing his thoughts. "I do. It's because my quirk takes a lot out of me and I exercise regularly which increases my appetite. A lot," the brunette explained and began eating the food he'd bought for her. "Fank yew."

Cute... "You've seen my quirk right?"

"Yesh, ith's so coohl," she swallowed. "How does it work exactly?"

"The best way to explain it, is that Dark Shadow is apart of me and that I can materialise and dematerialise him at will. He... he wants to meet you, is that okay?" Tokoyami asked and when she nodded, the shadow had materialised and appeared beside him, almost like a dog. A dark dangerous dog that could kill.

Kourin grabbed a chicken nugget and held it out on the palm of her hand, "can he eat fo—" Before she had the chance to finish what she was saying, he'd already eaten the piece of meat.

"Delicious! I'm Dark Shadow."

Cautiously and carefully, she placed a hand atop the shadow's head, "you're... adorable.."

"I'm not a dog!" He huffed, but didn't object or take her hand off.

He didn't object though. "This was fun. I feel like I got to know you better," she mused, nonchalantly standing up. "I'll see you at school Fumi. I'm going to buy some snacks before I head home. And before you object, you know I can take care of myself."

"She's pretty." Dark Shadow chimed, watching the brunette put a heap of chocolate into the basket.

"She is pretty, indeed."
