Chapter Eleven : Spice Jangle
THE CLUBHOUSE
The next day, Me and the Beckett Crew, along with the academy students.
"Has there been any news on Trixie?" Fenmore asked.
"According to my Doctor Mom, she's gonna be okay, but her parents are still worried about her." said Sebastian.
"Trixie suddenly collapsed." Grayson said. "What was the drug that made her collapse anyway?"
"Spice Jangle." Fenmore tells.
We look at him, shocking.
"Where did you get the Spice Jangle from, Fen?" I asked him.
"From a guy with a Bull tattoo." said Fenmore.
"A Bull tattoo?" Grayson said.
Fenmore looks at Grayson. "Yeah, why?"
Grayson becomes worried, which we notice.
"Grayson? What is it?" Roxy asked.
"I, uh, saw some guys with the same bull tattoo when I was at the juvenile detention center." Grayson said. "I avoided them though and kept my head down. I saw them taking Spice Jangle but I didn't say anything."
"Did you tell the detention center boss?" Alyssa asked.
"I wanted to, but the Red Bulls gang group dislikes tattletales." Grayson said.
"Did they encounter you?" Sebastian asked.
"They did. I tried to ignore them, but they found out about DUI and teased me about it. And so, I did the unexpected." Grayson said.
"What did you do?" Sasha asked.
"I unleashed my inner bad boy and whooped their asses." Grayson said.
"Gosh, how many?" Leigh Ann asked.
"Three." Grayson replied. "And after I got released, I told the detention center boss."
"Won't the Red Bulls gang remember you?" Leigh Ann asked.
"Hopefully not, but I'm ready for them." Grayson said.
"That's why you formed your own gang group The Thrashers." I said upon realization.
"Something like that, yeah. My Dad has already made the jackets." Grayson said.
"How is your Dad, Holland?" I asked.
"He's fine. He works at the auto-shop." Grayson said.
"And your Mom? Does she still works at the jewelry store?" Leigh Ann asked.
"Yeah, she still does." Grayson said. "She even wanted to sell some jewelry for money to give to my Dad, but he politely turned it down, wanting to make his own money."
"That's understandable." I said.
"Yeah." Grayson said.
My Dad, Sheriff Beckett, slowly walks inside the lounge room.
"Dad? What are you doing here? Is everything okay?" I asked, becoming worried.
"No worries, Carmina. I'm here to talk to Grayson." Sheriff Beckett said.
Grayson gets up and walks out of the lounge room and into the hallway.
"Sheriff Beckett?" Grayson said.
"You can relax, Grayson. Your father has been speaking to Principal Dean Barbara about your behavior and your grades, so, you will be receiving a letter from me, explaining that your DUI record has been removed." Sheriff Beckett informed Grayson.
Grayson small smiles upon receiving some good news and takes a breath of relief like a weight has been lifted off his chest.
"Thank you, sir." Grayson thanked him with a small smile.
"Like I told you before your DUI, Grayson, you're a good person, just be who you are." Sheriff Beckett said.
"Yes, sir. I will." Grayson said.
"Alright, then." Sheriff Beckett said and walks away.
Sheriff Beckett hands Grayson an envelope. Grayson gently takes it and Sheriff Beckett walks away.
Afterwards . . .
Grayson walks back into the lounge room and sits back down in the armchair.
"What did my Dad want?" I asked.
"My DUI has been removed from my academy file." Grayson told us with a happy smile.
"Congratulation, Grayson." Sebastian congratulated his best friend with a small smile.
"Thanks." Grayson thanked him with a small smile.
"I'm really happy for you, Gray." Roxy said to him with a small smile.
"I'm happy for myself, you and I can be together now." Grayson said.
Grayson and Roxy exchange small smiles at each other and they share a kiss.

Later that afternoon, In the dimly-lit arcade area, I'm sitting at an arcade, playing a game.
Roxy slowly walks up next to me. "Hey, Carrey."
I glance at her. "Hey, Roxy."
"I wanted to apologize for what I said last night at Grayson's party. It was unnecessary and I've been drinking a little. So, I'm sorry." Roxy apologized.
I finished playing the arcade game and looks at Roxy. "Drinking does have an effect on people whenever they're emotional. But it's okay."
"And I'm not blind either, Catty, I know Grayson still harbors feelings for you, he's just keeping his distance." Roxy said.
"I know and I've noticed." I said to her. "And to answer your real question, Roxy, yeah, we're good."
"Okay." Roxy said.
Roxy and I exchange small smiles at each other and she walks away.

In the hallway, I walks up next to Fenmore.
"Fenn?" I said to him. "Do you have a car magazine?"
"Yeah, sure." Fen said, reaching into his messenger backpack and hands me one. "You trying to get you a car?"
"Yeah." I said. "Thanks, Fen."
"You're welcome, CP." Fen said.
And I walks away.
Walking back into the lounge room, I'm sitting at the table, looking at some cars.
Sebastian sits down backwards in a chair. "What are you up to?"
"Finding a car." I said to him.
"Any luck?" Sebastian asked.
"Not yet." I said to him. "I've been saving money from my work shifts at Rochelle's and adding it to my savings account."
"I'm sure you'll find a car." Sebastian said.
"Yeah, me too. Leigh Ann has been taking me and Sasha to the school academy." I said.
Alyssa walks inside the lounge room. "You guys, I have some good news and some bad news."
"What's the bad news?" I asked.
"It's Trixie, she's being committed into a rehab facility by her parents for having taken the drug, Spice Jangle." Alyssa said.
"And the good news?" I asked.
"She's being discharged from the general hospital." Alyssa said. "But it's gonna be a while before we see Trixie again."
"Yeah, it is." I said.
