Joe
My match against Cody Rhodes was a success. I was exhausted after everything that happened and I couldn't wait to meet with Chloe backstage whenever her and Emma were able to escape from the massive crowd.

I was wondering where they were until Emma and Chloe made it backstage.

"I'm so proud of you, babe! That match was incredible."

"Thanks, baby." I pressed my lips against hers, "I retained, and now I'm ready for our daughter to be born very soon."

While we were talking, Paul approached us; along with my three cousins.

"Damn girl, you're about to pop any moment." Joseph said.

"For real, Uce." Jonathan interrupted.

"She's due either tomorrow or Tuesday." I said.

"Joe, I can tell that you are going to become an amazing father. Just like your father, Sika, was with you."

"Thanks, Wiseman." I replied.

Paul's always been associated with my family's bloodline for decades. He knew my father, my uncles, the elders; everyone in the family. He was more than excited to know that Chloe and I were expecting our firstborn child in less than twenty-four hours or more.

"We're gonna head back to the hotel for the night, everyone." I yawned, "I'm exhausted."

"Alright man, you and Chloe take care of yourselves!" Josh chimed in.

While Chloe and I made our way inside of the nearest hotel room, I headed towards the bathroom and trimmed up my beard. I was thrilled about tonight's victory against Cody Rhodes, until I heard Chloe beginning to scream out in agony in the other room.

"Joe! Joe! Get in here!"

I rushed out of the bathroom and immediately came to Chloe's aid.

"Is everything alright, baby?"

"Babe!" Chloe cried, "I think the baby's coming. My water just broke!"

I looked down and noticed that the carpet of the hotel bedroom was soaked.

"Oh my God! We need to get you to the hospital!"

I didn't have much time and quickly escorted Chloe out from the back of the hotel and into my Range Rover. I didn't hesitate and started driving out to the nearest hospital.

Chloe sat in the passenger's side, anxiously holding onto her stomach and attempting to catch her breath. She was hyperventilating and in a frantic state as she continued to have multiple contractions.

"We're almost there, baby. I'm driving as fast as I can."

"Drive faster! I don't know how much longer until the baby comes!"

"I'm trying honey. We're a minute away!"

I pulled the brakes and was almost close to causing a wreck while speeding up towards the hospital. It wasn't long until we found a parking area and I rushed Chloe into the hospital as soon as possible.

"We have an emergency and there's no time to explain! My wife's in labor and she's about to give birth at any moment."

The staff was quick enough to escort Chloe into a wheelchair as she was quickly rushed into the room. There was three nurses surrounding us while they placed her down on the hospital bed.

"Okay, Chloe. We're gonna insert some IV sedatives into your arms and we need you to open your legs so we can examine." A nurse said.

"I'm scared." Chloe sobbed.

"I'm here baby. I ain't going anywhere." I reassured her with my lips pressed against her forehead.

Chloe was terrified. I couldn't imagine being a woman and enduring so much pain. The miracle of birth was beautiful, yet looked extremely painful. While she listened to the nurses, she clutched the arms of the hospital bed and she felt another huge contraction coming along.

"Come on, baby."

"Mrs. Anoa'i. We're gonna need you to push with everything you have."

"Listen, I'm here baby." I reached my hand out to hers, "Hold my hand, if it helps."

Chloe was experiencing more severe contractions as she screamed out in agony. When she attempted to push, she squeezed my hand and almost broke it.

It was a few hours and she was still in labor with our daughter. Worried, I stayed with her throughout the entire process.

"Alright, you're starting to become more dilated. We need you to push as hard as you can. Your husband is here, you're not alone."

Chloe started to scream in agony once more as she started to push. I was more than determined to help deliver the baby, too. The nurses leaned down and watched as she struggled to push; and it was concerning them.

"Mr. Anoa'i, we're experiencing some issues."

"Issues? What issues? Is my wife and daughter gonna be okay?"

She nods, "Yes, but I think the baby isn't coming out the way it's supposed to."

"What do you mean?" Chloe asked.

"The crown of the baby's head is supposed to be the first thing that shows during birth. I don't know what's happening. We may have to perform a C-Section."

Before they could preform the C-Section, Chloe started to push once again and the nurses had a sigh of relief when they noticed that the crown was showing, "You're almost there! The baby is starting to show itself!"

"Come on, Chloe! I'm right here, baby."

While she struggled to push, just five minutes later, she was here. Our little girl has finally arrived into the world. The sounds of our daughter crying out brought tears in my eyes. I walked over towards her as the nurses wrapped her up in a small, white blanket before handing her over to me.

"Joe, she's so beautiful."

"Wow, she really is."

I looked at our little girl with the biggest smile on my face. I couldn't believe that we were finally parents after all this time.

"What would you two want to name her?" Asked one of the nurses.

Then I remembered what my mother suggested for the name. A beautiful, Samoan name for our daughter.

Alani.

"We'd love to name her Alani Anoa'i."

"What a beautiful name!"

They were putting together our daughters birth certificate while Chloe and I took in this moment with smiles on our faces.

"Joe, I feel so weak..."

"It's okay, babe. You can rest up and I'll watch over our daughter."

"Are you sure? I know you're exhausted too."

"I'll be alright. You did amazing and you need your rest. I'll watch over our baby."

Chloe started to pass out after everything that happened and while she continued to rest, I held my daughter in my arms for the very first time.

One of the nurses returned to the room and asked for our daughter. Concerned, I followed them to the end of the room as they had some small equipment laying around the area.

"Um, what are you guys doing?"

"Just cleaning out your daughters nose and making sure she's healthy."

"Alright. I'm just making sure."

One nurse took a tiny, blue suction thing and was cleaning out Alani's nose while the other was conversing with me.

"So, how's my daughter? Is she healthy?"

"Relax, Mr. Anoa'i, she's a healthy child."

I took a sigh of relief, "Thank God."

"We just cleaned out her nose, and she's the perfect weight."

"That's fantastic." I smiled, "I think she needs her daddy right now."

"Of course! We'll give you some time with your daughter. We'll come back later and check on your wife, too."

"Thank you, ma'am."

I scooped my daughter into my arms and sat down with her in a chair. She was so beautiful and she definitely had both of our looks.

"Hey, Princess." I warmly smiled, "I swear, you look just like your mother with those eyes. I'll always protect you from harms way. As long as I'm alive, you two are my priority."

Alani continued to cry out and being a father, I was new to everything and didn't know what to do. I pulled out my phone with one hand and looked up how to calm a newborn down.

I held Alani close to me while slowly rocking her and humming a calm tune to help her fall asleep. I brought her towards my shoulder and not even a minute later, she was sleeping. I couldn't help but to smile at the sight of my daughter sleeping in my arms. She was definitely going to be a Daddy's Girl nonetheless.

However, I slowly stood up and carefully walked over to the little bed and placed her in it, wrapping her up in her blanket, and laid a teddy bear that I bought for her months ago at her bedside.

I was beginning to feel exhausted after defending my two titles at WrestleMania, and experiencing the birth of my daughter all in one night. It was a beautiful night for the both of us. I thought she was due the next day or so after WrestleMania, but we were wrong. Maybe it was meant for Alani to be born right after my WrestleMania match.

I glanced over at Chloe while she was asleep after pushing her body to the limit when it came to giving birth to Alani. I leaned down and pressed my lips against her forehead while she remained asleep. I sat down in one of their comfiest chairs in the room and passed out for the night. I was the happiest man in the world as of tonight, and I couldn't be any luckier.

Hours passed and I was still asleep in the chair, until I heard Chloe and her nurse holding a conversation next to me.

"I couldn't be any luckier to have Joe in my life. He just had a match at WrestleMania, and then he drove us out to the hospital just so our child could be born. He's without a doubt my soulmate."

To hear Chloe say that I was her soulmate almost made me emotional. Out of the two-years that we've known each other, that brought a smile to my face. To know that I brought my wife out of the immense trauma from the past brought me nothing but happiness.

After the nurses left, I opened my eyes and smiled over at Chloe, "I'm your soulmate, huh?"

"Of course you are, Joe. You've shown me that love exists in a world so cruel; and I feel so happy right now." Chloe smiled, "I'm still sore after the baby was born, but I'll heal sooner or later."

"I'm glad you're feeling better, babe. I made sure that our daughter was..."

Before I could say anything, Alani woke up crying and screaming out. I walked over towards her and brought her in my arms.

"Shh, it's okay. Daddy's here."

"Look at you being in dad-mode." She flashed a smile, "That is the cutest sight I've ever seen!"

"Well, get used to it; because you're gonna be seeing this side of me a lot." I chuckled, "I love you."

"I love you too."

I placed Alani down to Chloe and for the very first time, she held our daughter in her arms. The moment was so special to where she started welling-up in tears with a smile spread across her face.

"After all this time, we finally had a child together."

I warmly smiled as I watched the two women I loved the most in life taking in this beautiful moment together.

"I noticed that we haven't told anyone that Alani was born. We just left the hotel without telling anyone."

"Maybe later, we can talk to Colby, Jon, Emma, Fergal, and your family and tell them that the baby's here." She implied.

"Sure. But for awhile longer, I'd rather spend some quality time with you and our little Princess before we allow any visitors." I say.

"I can't blame you." She paused, "Hey babe?"

"What's up, honey?"

"Thank you for being my husband and being a father to our daughter. I don't know where I'd be in life without you."

"Don't thank me, baby. I knew we were meant for each other right from the start. Now that we have a daughter together, I couldn't be anymore blessed."

It was a beautiful moment between Chloe and I while we held our daughter in our arms. Alani stopped crying and we took in this emotional moment together. After she was pregnant with our first last year and ended up miscarrying, Alani was a miracle and a blessing in our lives.

We were finally parents to a beautiful baby girl.
