67.

After we returned home, I took a seat on the leather couch and Chloe was on the phone with Emma for awhile. I was still in distraught after the therapy session from earlier; and allowing another person to see my emotions pouring out made me feel somewhat awkward.

However, I was ready to begin planning out our wedding together once Chloe was off the phone with Emma. We already had a wedding planner and a photographer planned out; and we were more than ready to prepare for the big day.

I glanced over at Chloe from afar and I couldn't wait to see this woman walking down the aisle with the biggest smile on her face. I couldn't wait to see this woman become Mrs. Anoa'i in the near future. I was ecstatic at the thought of it.

After a a few minutes passed, Chloe was done talking to Emma on the phone and I looked at her with a smile on my face.

"Hey babe." I said, "Are you ready to start planning for the wedding? I hope that it's not too soon after everything we've been through lately."Β

"Of course! I feel like this would be a perfect time to help us get our mind off of the whole situation."

"Then it's settled." I flashed a smile, "Anything for you."

We spent the entire night planning out our wedding and I couldn't wait.

A few weeks later

After a few weeks have came and went, Chloe and I met with the wedding planner and photographer. Everything was coming out perfect as we had almost everything prepared for the wedding. What we were unsure of was the date and when we wanted to get married. For me? I wanted to be married sooner than later.

When it came to Chloe's mental health after everything that's happened with the miscarriage and the drama with our two ex-lovers, she was doing much better than before. Therapy seemed to help her a lot in the meantime. We went out to eat, spent quality time together and focused on our future together.

While we made our way to the restaurant one evening, Chloe's phone began to ring and it was none other than Emma.

"Hey girl!"

"Hey! How are you and Roman...I mean Joe."

I laughed, "If you wanna call me Roman, it's all good Emma. I don't mind at all."

"Okay, because I'm still used to seeing you as Roman Reigns instead of Joe." She cleared her throat, "But anyways. Chloe, did you two ever set a date for the wedding?"

"Not yet." She replied, "We're still debating on that. However, we have the place and theme already planned out; we even hired a photographer and a planner so everything's coming out as planned."

"I'm so happy for you two. You both have been through so much and it's time for you both to finally be happy together!"

"We appreciate it, girl." She says with a smile, "Do you wanna hang out with us soon?"

"I'd love to! Also, I'd like to bring my date with me."

"Sounds good." I said, "Where would you two wanna go? We could do a double-date at a nearby restaurant."

"Maybe we could visit one of the fanciest Toronto restaurants." Emma says.

"That'll work. When do you want to have the double-date? We can do it possibly tomorrow night before I have to head back to work."

"Definitely! You and Chloe can..."

"Emma? Hold up, you finally have a boyfriend?" Chloe asked with excitement in her tone of voice.

"Yeah! You'll be surprised when you find out who it is."

"It's Chandler, huh? Your old high school crush?" She teased.

"What? No! It's not Chandler. You'll see when we all meet up again."

"Alright. He better treat you right!"

"He does! Anyways, I have to get off of here and get ready to sleep."

"Goodnight girl."

After Chloe hung up the phone with Emma, she looked back at me as she flashed a smile.

"I'm so happy for Emma, Joe."

"I am too."

We decided to skip the restaurant for tonight and headed back home and cater to Zeus for awhile. I hated that I had to head back to the ring soon and I loved spending time with Chloe and Zeus before it was time for me to board a flight to Pennsylvania.

After a few hours passed, Chloe was watching another episode of Stranger Things and was passed out on the couch.

I sat next to her and held her close to me for awhile in my embrace. Then she started to slightly mumble out in her sleep.

"Joe..."

"Hm?" I said, looking down at her.

"I love you."

"I love you too, baby."

I pressed my lips against her forehead and gently scooped her up in my arms. I carried her to the bedroom and laid her down on the bed. Before I crawled into the bed, I threw off my shirt and made my way towards her, wrapping my arms around her waist before falling asleep.

The following morning, we both woke up and we're preparing for our double-date with Emma and her date. She didn't tell us who he was, but Chloe and I were more than curious to meet him later tonight.

"I still believe it's Chandler and she doesn't want to tell us." Chloe says, sitting up from the bed.

"Perhaps. I'm just happy that you're doing better, Chloe. I was worried about you awhile ago, but it seems like you're getting back to normal and that makes me happy."

I pulled her close into my embrace and started to press my lips against hers and it quickly transpired into a make out session for the next five minutes.

"Fuck..."

My hands slowly slid down to her waist and I needed her badly. Before I could make another move, our eyes began to lock together and not breaking contact.

Suddenly, Chloe's phone began to ring.

"Hello?"

"Hey Chloe! Are you and Joe still coming tonight?"

"I wouldn't miss it for the world! We just now got up and we're gonna get ready for tonight. See you and your mystery date later tonight!"

"Sounds good to me!"

After she hung up the phone, I wanted her so bad but then her lips began to part, "Hey babe, I don't think right now is the time. I'm not feeling it right now."

"I understand baby." I nodded, "You almost turned me on for a second there."

She laughed, "You always get turned on."

"How could I not? You're gorgeous and I love that you're all mine for the taking." I replied.

"Oh hush!" She teased, "We gotta get ready for the dinner date later.

"Oh, right."

Later in the evening, Chloe and I met up with Emma at the fanciest Toronto restuarant. We noticed that she was sitting alone at the table with a small menu sitting in front of her.

"Hey, where's your date?" Chloe asked.

"He's in the bathroom right now and he'll be out in a minute."

"Oh? We can't wait to meet him." I said.

"Well...You kind of know him already."

"What do you mean?" I cocked an eyebrow.

Suddenly, we seen the door slowly open and here he came; someone that we all knew.

It was Fergal Devitt.

"What's up, guys?" Fergal said with a smile.

"Emma! You're dating Fergal?" Chloe asked.

"Yeah! We met the day after the Royal Rumble, remember? You and Joe helped me meet him."

"Oh yeah! We had you meet him back then because you were dying to."

"And we hit things off immediately! We talked for awhile, laughed at each other's jokes and before we knew it, he was asking me for my number and things took off from there."

"And I know she always loved watching me wrestle for years, but she's such a beautiful girl and I didn't want to miss the chance of getting with her."

"Aww, I'm so happy for you! Who would've thought that you'd be with your celebrity crush?"

"Trust me, Chloe, I didn't expect this either but Fergal treats me like a Queen and that's all I've ever wanted in a man."

"Hey Joe! It's nice seeing you again." Fergal said, looking at me.

"It's nice to see you too, man. I haven't seen you in awhile because of our hectic schedules."

"Yeah, it's definitely been awhile. Emma told me that you both are getting married soon."

I smiled, "Yeah. We're planning to get married at the Pensacola Beach because of its beautiful sunset. I wanted to give Chloe her dream wedding, if anything."

"That's so sweet! Fergal and I will definitely be coming to the wedding!" Emma exclaimed.

"I wouldn't miss this for the world, Joe." He smiled, "I know things haven't been easy for you and Chloe and I'm so happy to see that you both found each other."

After awhile, we ordered our meals and started eating while chatting about our workplace and how life was going for the four of us.

"Here's the bill!" The waiter said.

"I got this, Joe." Fergal said.

"Alright man, I appreciate the generosity."

"Of course! We definitely need to have another match against each other in the future."

"You're right. And our girls would also be arguing about who'd win."

"Oh hush!" Chloe laughed.

Closing out the night, we had a lot of fun together before heading back to the house. I never expected to see Emma dating Fergal. While we drove back home after dinner, we were thinking on the exact date for our wedding.

Then it hit us. July 24th.
