Chloe
I woke up the next morning and I didn't feel Joe at my bedside for the first time in awhile. Worried, I walked out from the bedroom and I could smell the aroma of bacon and eggs being cooked in the kitchen.

When I looked into the kitchen, there stood Joe. His hair was in a low bun, he was wearing a pair of black and red Nike shorts and was shirtless. What a man!

He noticed me from afar and looked back at me with a smile on his face.

"Hey babe."

"Hey." I said, "Good morning."

"Good morning. Did you sleep well?" He asked as he flipped some Panikeke batter on the pan over the oven.

I nodded, "I did. How come you're cooking breakfast when I usually cook for us?"

"I wanted to cook for you baby. It's been awhile since I've done this for you anyways, but it's in my Samoan culture to adore cooking and I wanted to make you something nice."

"Aww! You're the sweetest man alive."

"Am I now?"

I looked at him with a smile as he handed me a plate of breakfast. He was definitely an amazing cook.

After breakfast was finished a half hour later, we went out for awhile to take in some fresh air and enjoy each other's company.

Suddenly, I looked over to my left and seen two parents with their children as they were laughing and holding an ice cream cone in their hand.

When the miscarriage happened, it torn me apart on the inside. I was happy for the couple nonetheless; however, Joe was quick to notice that my demeanor had changed and he could tell when I was upset.

"Hey babe. Are you alright?"

I shook my head, "Not really."

"How come?"

I looked behind myself and seen the happily family together and Joe's face started to grow more concerned after realizing that I was saddened at the sight; wishing that we could have experienced that moment.

"Oh." He said, "How about I treat you to something...like dinner tonight to get your mind off of things?"

"Sure, I guess."

"Alright. Where would you want to go?"

"How about the restaurant down the street from here?"

"Sure baby. Anything that'll bring a smile to your face, I'll do it."

We walked into a restaurant and made our small reservations in a private section to avoid the paparazzi. Sadly, I watched as another family walked into the restaurant and took a seat.

"What would you want, sweetheart?" The father asked.

"A cheeseburger and some french fries!" Said a little girl.

"Coming right up!"

"Thank you, mommy! Thank you, daddy!"

"You're welcome. You're doing so great in school and we're super proud of you!" The mother replied.

While Joe was about to order, he raised an eyebrow and looked over at me.

"Honey, is everything alright?"

"Yeah." I paused, "Everything's okay."

He noticed my demeanor had dropped and he looked behind me from afar and seen the happy family together. Joe's facial expression grew from deeply concerned, to quickly noticing what was bothering me and tried to distract me.

"Baby, we can order anything you want here. I want to make you feel better." He paused as he quickly read the menu, "How about a Sundae?"

I shook my head, "I don't think I can eat right now, Joe."

"I understand. Let's head back home, baby."

I felt bad for wanting to leave after we just stepped into the restaurant. After seeing a happy family twice within a matter of two hours, I felt the depression settling in twice as hard.

After we returned home, Joe went to check on Zeus and then took him outside for awhile to use the bathroom. In the meantime, I sat down on the bed and was reminded of the small amount of grief that I was feeling after earlier.

"I don't understand why this had to happen. Why Joe and I? We were going to be a perfect little family." I sobbed uncontrollably to myself.

Joe
While I was walking Zeus on a leash, I started to worry about Chloe. She's been feeling down ever since we both seen that family together and I knew it was bothering her that we lost our baby awhile ago due to Galina and Joshua.

To make matters worse, every family she sees crossing our paths whether it's in the city, at a restaurant or even when we leave the house; it seems to trigger her PTSD after losing the baby. Which was understandable.

While Zeus was still walking around on the grass, I took the counseling into consideration and decided to go through with it. Although it hurt the both of us that Chloe miscarried because of those two, we needed to find a way to pull through this dark time together.

"Come on, Zeus." I said.

Zeus walked with me back into the house and I noticed the lights in the living room were turned off.

I unhooked the leash off from Zeus' collar and walked into our bedroom to seeing Chloe lying on the bed, eating a whole tub of chocolate ice cream with black mascara running down her cheeks and the TV was also turned off.

"Hey baby."

"Hey."

I sat down at our bedside and pulled her close to me.

"Put the ice cream on the nightstand baby. We need to talk about something important."

She sighs, "Sure."

Chloe put the ice cream away and sat it on the dresser, looking over at me with defeat.

"What do you want to talk about, Joe?"

"Well, I was suggesting that we attend a therapy session. I understand that ever since you seen that family earlier, that it triggered your PTSD and we're gonna get through this together, alright?"

She nods, "I understand. I don't think I'll ever accept what happened and I still blame those two for ruining our chance at parenthood."

"I know, baby. But this doesn't mean we won't ever be a happy family in the future. I..."

Suddenly, I remembered that Chloe didn't want to talk about trying for another baby and I decided to keep my words to myself.

After I slightly paused, Chloe wrapped her arms around my shoulders and sat down on my lap as her legs wrapped around my waist.

I rested my chin against her shoulder and pulled her closer into my embrace.

"I love you so much, Chloe." I said, "We're gonna get through this together. We're gonna get therapy, plan out our beautiful wedding and focus on our happiness. We can't let our grief and depression overtake our lives, baby."

"I understand, Joe. I'm still in disbelief that our child isn't here anymore; and it's tearing me apart on the inside." She sniffled.

"It's okay, baby. I'm here." I said while my voice began to deepen, "I still can't wait to wife you up pretty soon."

"And I still can't wait to make you my husband."

After we shared a moment of silence, I felt like expressing how I felt towards her from the moment we met.

I curved a smile, "Funny. Because I've wanted you ever since we first met after that show in Toronto."

She pulls back and looks at me, "You did?"

I nodded, "Yeah. I was already wanting to divorce my ex-wife anyways; and the moment I seen you in the crowd before my match, I was astonished at your beauty. Drew almost had me beat back there!"

"I always had a feeling you wanted me, Joe. I'm surprised to see how far we've come. Despite everything that's happened between us, I'm thankful that you're still with me."

"How could I not be? You make me the happiest man alive and I would do anything to see a smile on your face."

She leaned forward and pressed her lips against mine as we took another moment of silence to enjoy each others' intimacy. I looked into those beautiful eyes and I felt like the luckiest man in the world. Chloe was such a stunning woman ever since the moment we met; and everyday I look back on that night.

I was wrestling against Drew McIntyre one night during the Toronto, Canada live event. I remember looking over my shoulder and seeing a beautiful woman sitting in the front row. Her long, jet black hair that cascaded beautifully down her shoulders, her smile could brighten up an entire arena and those beautiful eyes; I was immediately mesmerized.

"Wow, she's beautiful."

Suddenly, a voice emerged behind me and broke me out of my trance.

"Hello? Earth to Joe? We need to finish this match!" Drew shouted.

I charged towards Drew with a forearm and then for the ending, a thunderous spear that had the entire Toronto crowd screaming and cheering with excitement.

"One! Two! Three!"

"Here is your winner and still the Universal Champion, Roman Reigns!"

I stood tall with the title over my shoulder and I glanced back at Chloe. Back then, she was some woman that I felt allured towards. I noticed that she looked at me in awe while I brought my finger towards my chest and mouthed the words, "Acknowledge me."

After thirty minutes, the show came to an end and I remembered that the VIP guests were supposed to attend a small and shortened meet-and-greet with the talent. However, I walked around backstage to get myself a bottle of water after my match and then bumped into someone.

It was her.

"Oh! I'm so sorry!" I looked at her, "Are you lost?"

"N-No. I was just leaving."

I smiled, "Damn girl, leaving so soon? Would you want an autograph of mine?"

"It depends. I'm not much a wrestling person, but I was only here to meet up with my friends two favorite wrestlers, Seth Rollins and Finn BΓ‘lor, after the show because she couldn't make it tonight."

I flashed a smile, "Aww, how sweet. What's your name, gorgeous?"

"Chloe." She paused, "Chloe Levine."

"What a beautiful name for a beautiful woman."

Chloe looked into my eyes with admiration. I didn't want to lose my chance to at least become friends with her and I quickly popped the question before she walked away.

"Hey Chloe! I know this is sudden, but I wanna get to know you more and I wanted you to give me your phone number so we could keep in touch."

"Yeah, sure!"

Chloe inserted her phone number into my phone.

"I have to get going now, Roman. It was nice meeting you!"

Before she could walk away again, I stopped her in her tracks.

"Slow down, my name's not actually Roman; that's just my stage name. My name's actually Joe."

"It was nice meeting you, Joe. However, I have to get going. I'll keep in touch!"

Then she left the arena and returned back home.

Ever since then, I've fallen madly in love with this woman and despite the obstacles we've been going through over the past few days, I was more than determined to make her a happy woman in the near future.
