Joe
After I unpacked our belongings into our bedroom, I scanned around the house while Chloe was spending time with Emma and forgot that we had a spare bedroom for the baby and decided to check it out.
After making my way to the bedroom, it was huge and had a beautiful scenery outside of the window. They'd have plenty of space to play around and have the time of their lives.
"This'll be perfect for the baby." I said to myself with a smile.
When I returned to the room, Chloe was still conversing with Emma the entire time about the trip back in Pensacola. Then I started to accidentally started to overhear their conversation.
"Joe's family had us trying out the most delicious Samoan food, and it was delectable!"
"That's amazing to hear Chloe. I'm so happy that Joe's family loves you. But did you both tell them that you guys were expecting a baby?"
"Yes, I have; and they were absolutely thrilled about the big news!"
I walked into the room with a smile on my face and replied, "They're excited and my cousins are happy about becoming uncle's once the baby is born."
"It would be interesting to see The Uso's and Solo Sikoa becoming uncle's already."
"Yeah!" I replied, "Jonathan, Josh and Joseph are more than excited and they can't wait for the baby to be born."
We spent the next few hours talking about our trip from Pensacola back to Toronto. When it was time for Emma to return home in order to head back to work for the first time in over a week, Chloe and I decided to spend the night watching movies together with Zeus at our side. Thankfully, his once-injured paw had finally healed and he was better than ever.
However, we made our way back to the bedroom once Emma left and I sat Chloe down at our bedside and asked, "How are you feeling?"
"I'm feeling fine Joe, how come?"
"Just making sure that everything's alright. I care about you two, you know?"
"I understand."
Unfortunately, Chloe was feeling a little sick since we've been home and I wouldn't want her to stress herself out. It was most likely sickness from the pregnancy and I noticed that she was nauseous.
"I can tell when you feel nauseous. I'll take care of things from here babe. Just rest up and I'll be here for you the entire time."
She smiles, "Thank you."
"You're welcome."
I leaned down and pressed my lips against her forehead and left the bedroom so she could rest for awhile. Until then, I took Zeus out for a walk and everything was peaceful. The scenery was beautiful and calming while I decided to take in a moment of relaxation on the nearby bench.
Zeus began to bark.
"What is it, little buddy?"
Zeus presented me a little stick, insisting that I played fetch with him.
I picked up the small stick and tossed it a few feet away from me and he ran back to me moments later, anxiously wagging his tail.
"Good boy." I said, petting his head.
We headed back into the house after our shortened time out together and Chloe was still fast asleep in our bed and she looked quite peaceful.
It was beginning to darken outside around seven in the afternoon and I decided to do my nightly routine of showering, brushing my hair, trimming up my beard and taking care of my oral hygiene before drifting off to sleep for the night.
Before crawling into the bed, I slowly gazed at my soon-to-be fiancΓ©e as she looked beautiful; even in her sleep. I couldn't wait to wife her up comes WrestleMania. I was madly in love with this woman and to know she's carrying my child brings me nothing but joy.
After a minute had passed of admiring Chloe from a small distance, I finally crawled into the bed and wrapped my arms around her with caution and she felt comfortable.
She mumbled, "I love you."
I smiled and my voice began to deepen, "I love you too, baby."
When we fell asleep for the night, Zeus jumped onto the bed and laid near our feet on the outer layer of our white, queen-sized blanket.
Hours later, the sky began to brighten and it was time for us to wake up. Chloe sat up from the bed and stretched out her arms, yawning loudly.
"Good morning, babe."
"Good morning, gorgeous." I replied with a sleepy voice, "Did you sleep well?"
"I did! I apologize sleeping earlier than usual yesterday. The pregnancy has been affecting my sleeping schedule and my body to where I feel easily fatigued."
"Hey, it's okay. I understand, somewhat. Of course, I'm not a woman, but I can tell how much it's affecting you and all I want you to do is lay back, relax and focus on staying calm and healthy."
"But what about the house?" She asked.
"I'll take care of that. You gotta slow down with these things, Chloe. I love you and I couldn't bare to lose you or the baby."
"You're not gonna lose us, Joe." She says, "You both mean the entire world to me and I wouldn't do anything that could cause us issues."
"I know, I'm just being a protect hus-" I paused, "Boyfriend."
"What was that?"
"Nothing! I was just saying that I'm being a protective boyfriend because I know how things are with those two cold-hearted bastards and I know how you're easily stressed out with everything, and all I'd want nothing more is for you to always remain calm and know you're in good hands with me, baby."
"Thank you and I know I'm in good hands. I mean, look at this house! It's beautiful and I never thought I'd be living like this. A life of luxury? This is a woman's fantasy and I'm the luckiest woman alive. And to have a man that stays by my side through thick and thin? It's a blessing."
I smiled, "Of course you are. You deserve nothing but the best. But I have a question for you. Are you excited for WrestleMania next weekend?"
"Definitely! I'm gonna see you kicking ass in the ring and I know you're going to win the other title against that Brock guy, right?"
I chuckled, "More likely. Brock's one tough man in that ring. He's beaten my ass before but we're good behind the scenes."
"Wait, he's beaten you before? And you both are cool with that?" She says with confusion in her facial expression.
I laughed and shook my head, "Chloe, you have it all wrong baby. Brock and I are friends outside of the ring. He's a nice person and we've had past story-lined feuds before and I believe you'd be friends with him, too."
"Oh, that makes sense. And sure!"
"Great! I can't wait for you to meet Brock before WrestleMania begins. Maybe we can schedule something the night before the show?"
"I'd love that, Joe." She smiles, "I just hope that the baby won't mind the excessive noises and rumbles from the arena."
"I'm sure the baby will be just fine, honey." My voice deepened, "As a father-to-be, I wouldn't do anything to put our child, nor you, at risk."
"Thank you, babe."
"No problem. Anyways, wanna get some breakfast for us and Zeus?"
"Sure. I'm actually craving Panikeke and some bacon."
"Then it's settled. Panikeke and bacon it is."
We both sat up from the bed and went down to the kitchen to make our favorite breakfast meals to start off the day.
I couldn't wait for WrestleMania.
