After a heated argument between Y/N and Jennie, the two decided to go their separate ways and didn't see each other again. Y/N's flight was incredibly smooth, almost like gliding on butter. Meanwhile, Taehyung was feeling a bit down because Jennie had managed to book a seat next to him. She insisted it was just a coincidence, but it was clear she had asked her secretary to arrange the flight specifically so she could sit with him. Once on board, she couldn't help but annoy him with her overly affectionate behavior, while Y/N was having the time of her life, capturing every moment on her phone. She filmed everything from the food to the in-flight entertainment, completely lost in her own little bubble. After taking a refreshing nap, she woke up just thirty minutes before landing, feeling like she had the best sleep ever.
Upon landing, Y/N stepped into the airport and was immediately struck by the sight of a crowd of reporters and fans gathered, seemingly waiting for someone important. As she moved closer, her heart raced when she spotted a girl holding a poster of Taehyung. Panic set in as she wondered if he had filed a case against her or, worse, if he was somehow following her. In a flurry of anxiety, she dashed away from the scene. Meanwhile, Taehyung entered the airport and was met with a swarm of reporters, prompting him to roll his eyes in frustration. "Taeee, wait for me!" Jennie called out, struggling to keep up in her heels, which ultimately caused her to trip and fall. The reporters quickly surrounded her, giving Taehyung the perfect opportunity to escape. He sprinted away, with the press hot on his heels, and finally jumped into a waiting black Range Rover, leaving the chaos behind as the reporters turned their attention back to Jennie.
Taehyung let out a deep sigh as he relayed the hotel address to the driver, his mind clearly preoccupied. Meanwhile, a swarm of reporters surrounded Jennie, firing off a barrage of questions that seemed to come all at once. "Are you Kim Taehyung's girlfriend?" one shouted, while another quickly followed up with, "What is your relationship with him?" The inquiries continued, each one more pressing than the last, asking if she planned to stay with him at the hotel and if she was his fiancรฉ. With a confident smile, Jennie stood up and declared, "I am his fiancรฉ. We will be getting married soon, and yes, I am here with him. He's such a sweet and affectionate fiancรฉ. We were in a relationship before, but it was his decision to keep it under wraps. Today, I just couldn't hold back anymore. And to all the girls out there, stay away from Taehyung; he's mine!" The reporters were taken aback, clearly surprised that the usually reserved Kim Taehyung had such a romantic side. Just as one reporter asked when the wedding would take place, Taehyung's bodyguard stepped in, firmly stating, "No more questions. Ma'am, please come with me; I'll take you to the hotel." Jennie acknowledged the bodyguard, who was known to be Taehyung's most trusted protector, and as she walked away with him, she felt a sense of security. Once inside the car, she settled in for the ride, but her mind was racing with thoughts of being with Taehyung, even as the guard drove her to a hotel that felt far too distant from where she wanted to be.
JENNIE'S POV :
Kim Taehyung, I will never let you slip away from me. You belong to me completely-your wealth, your home, your business, even your bank account; it's all mine. She made a call, saying, "Yes, I'm heading to his hotel now. I'll fill you in later." As she spoke, she caught the driver glancing at her through the rearview mirror, prompting her to lower her voice and assure the person on the other end that she would talk later. Upon arriving, she stepped out of the car only to realize that this was not the hotel where Taehyung was staying. "Excuse me, this isn't Taehyung's hotel," she said sharply. The bodyguard replied, "Ma'am, sir has requested that you keep your distance due to the paparazzi." Jennie rolled her eyes, indignant. "I am his fiancรฉe! You have no authority to dictate my actions. Take me to his hotel right now." The bodyguard stood firm, shaking his head. "I'm sorry, ma'am, but that's not possible. Sir wants some time alone. If you need anything, there's a convenience store nearby where you can grab a bite. I must take my leave now." Jennie was taken aback, her voice trembling as she asked, "W-wait... Where are you going? Aren't you supposed to stay with me?" He replied, "Ma'am, I work for sir, and he hasn't given me any orders to stay. Goodbye." With that, he walked away, leaving Jennie staring at the car as it drove off. "This is ridiculous... I should have brought my own guards with me," she muttered under her breath as she entered the hotel and proceeded to book a room.

After what felt like an eternity, I finally arrived at my hotel. Before coming here, I had spent some time at the park, enjoying the fresh air and the scenery. As I stepped into the hotel lobby, I immediately noticed the reception area. I approached the front desk and greeted the girl working there. She had a rather dismissive attitude, chewing bubble gum with a look that screamed indifference. I tried to be polite and said, "Anyeong haseyo," but she just scanned me from head to toe, her expression unimpressed. "Oh, you're the new waitress... Go talk to the manager, shoo," she said, waving her hand dismissively.
I felt a surge of anger at her rudeness. "Excuse me... Is this how you treat your customers?" I shot back, but she just laughed, clearly enjoying my discomfort. "Huh, customer? Have you looked in the mirror? You can't afford to stay here," she retorted, her tone dripping with sarcasm. Just as I was about to respond, I heard a familiar voice behind me. I turned around to see Jackson Wang standing there, towering over me with his handsome features and charming smile. I felt so small next to him, and I couldn't help but feel self-conscious about how I looked compared to him. "S-sir... No, actually, the new waitress was supposed to come today, so I thought she was-" she stammered, trying to explain herself.
Jackson scoffed at the receptionist's attitude. "So you're telling me you mistook this beautiful lady for a customer? Really?" he challenged her. Just then, a girl walked in wearing a very revealing outfit, and the receptionist immediately switched her tone. "Welcome, ma'am! What can I get for you? Would you like a room or a visit to the cafeteria?" The girl surveyed the hotel and casually replied, "No, I'm fine... Actually, I'm the waitress." Both Jackson and I were taken aback, our eyes wide and mouths agape. The receptionist turned bright red with embarrassment and quickly told the girl to speak with the manager. Jackson turned back to the receptionist and said, "Never judge a book by its cover," leaving her to apologize profusely as she realized her mistake.
I was feeling incredibly frustrated at that moment. "Just give this adorable shorty a VIP room, and I'll cover the cost," I insisted, "No, no, I've already reserved it... Hand me the key for room 317." I displayed the booking code on my phone, and their faces were a mix of disbelief and surprise at how I managed to snag the priciest suite in the hotel. All thanks to my best friend, of course. I couldn't help but smirk as I turned away, but my confidence quickly faded when I spotted Kim Taehyung standing right there, staring at me. Oh my gosh, why did I have to be so unlucky? I barely had a moment to react before he shouted, "YOU!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" My mind went blank, and all I could muster was a stammered, "I - I... Bye!" before I bolted away.
I sprinted as fast as I could, desperate to avoid him. I didn't want to risk taking the elevator, knowing it would give him the chance to catch up. Finally, I reached my room, scanned the keycard, and slammed the door shut behind me, my heart racing. "AISHHHH Choi Y/N... You really messed up this time... Seriously, Kim Eunbi, I told you not to book a hotel for me! What if I run into him again? What am I supposed to say about why I'm here?" I took a moment to calm myself down, reminding myself to breathe in and out slowly. Nothing terrible would happen; I just needed to focus on winning the game and returning his money. After a moment of reflection, I plopped down on the bed and called my uncle to let him know I had arrived safely.

I stepped into my room, number 316, and collapsed onto my bed, feeling utterly drained by everything that had been happening lately. It seemed like chaos was my new normal, first with Jennie and now this new girl whose name I couldn't even recall. It was frustrating, and I couldn't help but let out a sigh of exasperation. "Aishhh," I muttered to myself, wishing for some peace. "Taehyung, it's time to sleep." I rummaged through my bag to find my favorite pajama shirt, and after changing, I headed to the shower to wash away the stress of the day.
After my shower, I returned to my room, feeling a bit more refreshed, but my phone suddenly buzzed with a call. It was my mom, and as soon as I answered, her voice boomed through the speaker. "Hello mom !" I shouted, but she was already in full panic mode. "TAEHYUNG!! YOU GOT ENGAGED AND DIDN'T EVEN THINK TO TELL YOUR MOTHER!" she yelled, her tone a mix of shock and disappointment. I tried to explain, "MOM... THAT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK," but she continued, "If you wanted to marry someone like her, you should have told me! I would have taken you to meet my several friends , but she seems so rude. You didn't even consider my feelings!" It felt like she was trying to guilt-trip me, and I was getting increasingly frustrated.
"MOM, LISTEN TO ME-" I started, but she cut me off, insisting, "WHAT IS LEFT TO LISTEN? I'M COMING TO SEOUL, and you're breaking up with that girl. I don't like her." My annoyance peaked as I replied, "MOM, SHE IS NOT MY FIANCร." She didn't believe me, exclaiming, "OHH... YOU TRYNA PLAY WITH ME... I'M YOUR MOTHER! I'M GONNA SUE YOU, KIM TAEHYUNG." I finally managed to explain, "MOM, SHE IS NOT MY FIANCร. Do you remember Mrs. Kim from the cafรฉ? She's her daughter, and she's been pursuing me. I promise I have nothing to do with her." After a moment of silence, she asked, "PROMISE?" I confirmed, "PROMISE." But then she hit me with a shocking ultimatum: "You have to find a girl in three days". I was shocked. "What? Wait... How could you do this to your son-". She ignored my words. "I don't care. I am coming in three days. If you found a girl then prepare her to meet me otherwise you will marry a girl I will choose. I am getting older and older day by day. I wanna play with my grandchildren before I die but you don't care about your mother. May God not give disobedient child like you to somebody! ". She fakely cried. I sigh. Here she goes with her dramas again. I agreed and cut the call worriedly." How am I gonna find a girl... And that's too in three days. The girl with whom I will spend the rest of my life? How....? ".
I tossed my phone aside in frustration and ran my fingers through my messy hair. How am I supposed to find a girl in just three days? As I pondered this dilemma, it hit me that the show is happening the day after tomorrow. That means the event is in two days, and my mom will arrive in three days! Ugh, I have no clue how to even talk to a girl, let alone ask one to be my girlfriend. Feeling overwhelmed, I collapsed onto my bed and began to gaze blankly at the ceiling. I was so exhausted that I didn't even realize when I drifted off to sleep.

THE NEXT DAY:
I woke up bright and early, and honestly, the comfort of the bed was incredible. Everything around me felt so lavish and indulgent. After a few moments of enjoying the cozy atmosphere, I made my way to the bathroom, where I discovered an array of face masks lined up on the counter. It suddenly clicked for me why wealthy people often have such radiant skin; they really invest time and effort into their skincare routines. Feeling inspired, I decided to try out the honey mask. As I applied it, I brushed my teeth and then hopped into the shower, where I was amazed at how refreshed my skin felt afterward. It was a sensation I had never experienced before. Was this what Eunbi's life was like? She must be incredibly fortunate to enjoy such luxury every day.
After my refreshing morning routine, I headed to the kitchen, my stomach growling with hunger. To my delight, I found packets of ramen and ready-made kimchi waiting for me. The hotel not only had its own cafeteria but also offered room service for guests. How amazing! I decided to whip up an egg and pair it with some toast, opting to eat in my room to save a bit of money. My uncle had given me some cash to help me find nice clothes for the upcoming show, and I wanted to be smart about my spending. As I enjoyed my breakfast, I reflected on the previous shows I had watched, which featured various games. I had heard that this time we would be playing a horror-themed game, where we would explore fifteen different rooms, each with its own unique scares, in search of a key. The thought filled me with excitement. I felt lucky and confident, knowing that whether I won or lost, I was ready to give it my all. I was aware that if I didn't win, I would be wasting Mr. Choi's money, but I promised myself that once I found success, I would pay him back.

I woke up early because I wanted to take a final look at the show setup before everything began. After getting out of bed, I headed to the bathroom where I shaved my beard and took a refreshing cold shower. This really helps me feel more awake and energized for the day ahead. As I dried my hair, I caught a glimpse of my reflection and noticed the dark circles under my eyes. I used to think I was quite handsome, but now I couldn't help but feel a bit self-conscious about my appearance. Shaking off those thoughts, I left the bathroom and made my way to the kitchen, my stomach growling from the night before. I decided to whip up some kimchi for breakfast since I wasn't in the mood for the cafรฉ food, which never really suited my taste. After enjoying my meal, I cleaned up the dishes, grabbed my car keys and hotel room card, slipped on my black boots, and stepped out of my room.
As I exited, I noticed that y/n was coming out of her room at the same time. We both locked our doors and exchanged surprised glances. "YOU!" we exclaimed in unison, the surprise evident in our voices. Just as y/n was about to make a run for it, Taehyung swiftly pinned her against the wall, effectively blocking her escape. The tension in the air was palpable, and I could sense the mix of excitement and nervousness as they stood there, caught in a moment that felt both thrilling and intense.
