"OH TAEHYUNG, YOU CAN COME with Aspen and me on our day out! Wouldn't that be fun?!" Jin suggested after a long 20 minutes of him interrogating Taehyung, only for Aspen to answer for him. She couldn't risk him saying something wrong, so she took it upon herself to keep their story straight. Taehyung looked to Aspen with wide, blank eyes, he was looking to her to answer for him as she had been doing this whole time.

"Uh...Taehyu- Tae..." She corrected herself. If they were gonna play this boyfriend and girlfriend thing, she can't keep calling him by his full name. Couples have affectionate nicknames for each other.

"He can talk for himself, A," Jin told her, turned to Taehyung, awaiting his answer. Taehyung opened his mouth, dragging his eyes away from Aspen to look at Jin.

"I would love to." He said, his voice stiff and awkward, but Jin didn't really seem to notice and if he did, he simply didn't care. He clapped his hands and grinned. "Well, you both need to go and get dressed." He grabbed Taehyung's wrist and pulled him up from the couch before pushing both Aspen and him up the stairs.

"Don't take too long." He told the with a playful wink before walking off back downstairs, leaving the two alone at the top.

"I am sorry. I can sense that you are upset with me." Taehyung muttered, lacing his fingers together in front of himself as he looked down at his feet. "Please forgive me. I can tell him that I changed my mind."

Aspen sighed and shook her head, combing her fingers through her hair as she separated curls. "Um...yeah," she muttered. The less Jin's around him, the less that that could mess up their story. "While I'm out, I'll get you some clothes and shoes."

Taehyung nodded and went back downstairs to tell Jin that he wouldn't be going with them while Aspen got dressed. "I am not feeling well." He took Jin's hand and put it on his forehead to prove it, though, that wasn't exactly a normal thing to do. "See?"

Jin removed his hand from the man's face. "Holy shit, you're burning." His arched brows furrowed with concern. "A, I think your boyfriend needs to go to the hospital!" He called to Aspen. No human should be as hot as Taehyung is right now.

"Uh- we already did! He just needs some rest!" She called back, swiftly pulling her hair out of her face and securing it with a hairband.

After making sure she looked presentable in the mirror, she left out of her room and went back downstairs to see that Taehyung was back on the couch, watching his cartoon with Jin sitting on the opposite side of the couch waiting for Aspen.

She came up behind him, putting her hand on Jin's shoulder. "You ready to go?" She asked him, her touch startling him slightly. He looked at her and nodded. "Yep." He looked to Taehyung

He got up off the couch and looked to Aspen and then to Taehyung. He was waiting to see what she would do. Aspen rolled her eyes and sighed slightly, going over to Taehyung. He looked up at her with those wide, innocent eyes. She had to keep up appearances.

Aspen cringed slightly, bending down to quickly peck his forehead. "Get better soon, sweetheart. I'll be back." She turned to Jin. "Come on, let's go." She told him, grabbing his wrist before dragging him out of the house.

"Don't burn down my house, Taehyung!" She called to the alien. Aspen quickly closed the door, not waiting for his response before locking the door. She had a very bad feeling that she'd come back with her house in shambles

"You seem pretty uncomfortable with touching him much." Jin voiced his concern as they walked over to his car that was parked in her driveway. He had noticed it the moment she held his hand, they both looked tense.

Aspen shrugged, using those few little seconds to think of any excuse as she got into the front passenger's seat of the car. "You know how I am with relationships. You can only get hurt so much before you start to become wary."

Jin smiled, giving her a knowing look as he sat down in the driver's seat, closing the door behind him. "Okay, you can give it a rest. I know you aren't dating him. I just wanted to see how far you'd take it." Jin was an asshole in that way and for that, Aspen punched his shoulder. "Then why would you make me go through that, you fucking asshole?!" She yelled at him in outrage, only for Jin to burst with laughter, putting his arms up to protect himself from the blows. "It was too easy! How could I not?"

Aspen stopped her assault, sitting straight in her chair. "Let's just go before I find something to stab you with."

Jin turned on the car and put the car into drive, keeping his foot on the brakes as he waited for the cars coming down the road to pass before turning out into the road as well.

"So, tell me," Jin began, "who is he actually?" He asked Aspen as he drove down the street, turning out into the main road that was busy with cars.

Aspen leaned against the door, resting her head against the window of the car. "I already told you he's my roommate...a friend of a friend. He's just staying with me for a little while."

Jin hummed. He didn't entirely believe her, but he decided that he wouldn't push it. "Well, he's really cute, not as cute as me, but close." He presented to toss his hair over his shoulder, a prideful smirk crossing his lips.

Aspen rolled her eyes with a small smile on her lips. "Even when complimenting other people, you still gotta bring it back around to you and your looks." She knew he was simply joking. Jin's egotism was nothing more than a playful personality he put in. In reality, Jin was a good friend, a sweetheart.

Jin scoffed at her words. "You know it's true, I know it's true, I'm the most handsome guy in any room I'm in. You can deny it all you want, but you know it's true."

Aspen just tried away from him, stuffing down a chuckle. "Yeah, yeah."

"Anyways, back to the matter at hand. He's cute and he has a real innocent vibe to him. I'm sure with a bit of training you'll have him wrapped around your little finger." Jin knew of her long list of lovers that had treated her wrong over the years. He always told her to stop getting herself involved with the men that screamed red flags.

"I don't want him wrapped around my finger and I'm not interested in him even in the slightest," Aspen informed him. "He's only staying for a little bit. He's gonna go back to whatever planet he came from soon."

Jin took her words as a metaphor, a joke, but Aspen was being quite literal.

"I don't think he's that weird. He has an innocent, boyish charm to him. And he has really beautiful hair, I have to give him that much."

"Jin, I will kick you in the head, just stop talking," Aspen told him, reclining the seat back so that she could lie down. Jin chuckled and shook his head, but he ceased his talking and continued driving into downtown Seattle.

The only this Aspen worried about during the entirety of the car ride was what Taehyung was doing at home. If he was in the middle of lighting her couch on fire or if he was still sitting there, watching TV.

Jin parked in an empty spot on the side of the busy streets of downtown. He slapped Aspen's tight. "Wake your ass up." He told her before getting out of his car. Aspen groaned out with annoyance and put her seat back up. She unbuckled herself and opened the car door, stepping out onto the sidewalk.

"Where are we going first?" She asked Jin who was looking down at his phone, typing something before shutting it off and putting it in his pocket. "Dunno, where do you wanna go?"

Aspen grabbed Jin's hand. "Come on, I have to find some clothes for Taehyung...his birthday is coming up." She excused, that seemed like the most believable one.

Jin nudged her with a smile. "Aww, how sweet. You barely even buy me anything for my birthday." His lips form into an exaggerated pout.

"I buy you stuff for your birthday, asshole."

Jin shook his head. "Yeah, stuff, not actual birthday gifts. My last birthday, you bought me a tie. When would I ever need to wear a tie?" He never wore that tie, ever.

Aspen shrugged. "I dunno, you're old."

If there was one thing that Jin hated more than being called ugly, and you know he hated that, it was being called old. He had a fear of growing old, not necessarily an irrational fear but still nothing to fear currently. He was still fairly young.

"Bitch, I'm 27! I will push you into the fucking road!" He yelled dramatically at her. His handsome face and fair skin became red.

Aspen only laughed at him. It was always fun to see him get so angry and burst out. His loud words would get even louder and he'd speak so quickly that his words would blend together into a mess of incoherent words.

"No, you wouldn't. You love me too much."

Jin huffed, crossing his arms angrily over his chest. "You're lucky I do because I definitely would've."
