Piper McLean is a very special character to all of us for a number of reasons, so it's really cool to see others' interpretations of her. One of the best ways to do this is through headcanons, or things we might conclude about a character that aren't necessarily featured in the books.

We asked the Half-Blood Community Senate to share their favorite Piper McLean headcanons, and here's what we came up with:

#1: Rose, NoSaneHumanAllowed (she/her)

Piper and Leo share clothes, which is something they started in the Wilderness Academy.

#2: Lys, Potterhead101807 (they/them)

Piper is absolutely a Slytherdor

#3: Red, TheRedSourPatchKid (she/her)

Piper is a lesbian.

Red: "When I was a kid, I read The Lost Hero and immediately thought, "I don't just not ship Jason and Piper. I know she's not even into him." It wasn't an opinion to me. It was a fact. Now I know what compulsive heterosexuality is and I'm wondering how I identified that in a fictional character before I even knew what it was. I think comp-het is a super underrepresented lesbian experience and for me to be able to see that in a character I love is really awesome!"

#4: Jae, AjCatty (she/her)

I think the real reason Piper didn't like the makeover after being claimed was because she didn't think she deserved it.

Jae: "Piper spent her whole life fighting for her father's attention, and eventually accepted that she would never get it fully. She's used to living in the shadows. Piper might not have liked wearing dresses, but I think a deeper meaning could be that she just didn't expect to be the center of attention."

#5: Storm, Daught3rOfSelene0708 (she/her)

The headcanon where Piper says she reads romance novels because her relationship with Jason wasn't romantic enough. It really made me laugh:D

Storm: "It's just so funny and there are no ther words that can describe it other than AMAZHANG"
