Chapter Nine | The Pregnant Princess

September of 2019

Victoria was showing now and her clothes were getting tight; she had been meaning to go shopping and get some new clothes, but just hadn't found the time and to be honest shopping alone isn't all that fun and plus she couldn't be seen out in public. She was stuck with online shopping for now.

"Victoria, Everyone is in the dining room and staring at your body in the mirror will just make you late."
Elizabeth said as she shook her head.

"Sorry, Granny." Victoria said as she fixed her hair then joined her Grandmother at the door.

"Are you ready to do this?" Elizabeth asked.

"Yes, ma'am." Victoria answered.

"Good." Elizabeth said.

Victoria sauntered, well more like waddled, out of the room and looked over her shoulder, "Granny, are you coming?" She asked.

"Sorry, Yes, I'm coming. I just could not help but stare at your walk. You're waddling now." Elizabeth answered.

"Sigh, Yes I know and it's not very cute with heels on." She said.

"Your Majesty, Your Royal Highness, everyone is waiting for you both in the dining room including the young gentleman, David." The Butler, Herald said.

"Thank you, Herald." Elizabeth said.

"Did you invite my David?" Victoria asked.

"Yes, I did." Elizabeth answered.

They all sat at the dining table, eating and drinking as Elizabeth made small talk with each and everyone of them then it got silent.

Elizabeth cleared her throat and Victoria looked at her and sighed before standing up and removing her coat which caused everyone to look at her midsection with wide eyes.

"Victoria." Charles said.

"Yes, pa, I'm currently twenty weeks pregnant with David's and I first child. Although, we are not currently together and this is the first he is finding out about the baby. I hope we can all be mature about this and not scream or shout insults." Victoria said.

"I'm proud of you, Tori." Elizabeth said.

"Mum, have you known this whole time?" Charles asked.

"Yes, I have and I hope you will respect that she told me and not you. I hope you all will also respect Victoria's wishes." Elizabeth answered.

"Well, I'm happy for you, Tori, I knew you were hiding something from the night we went out." Beatrice said.

"Thank you, Trixie." Victoria said.

"I'm shocked but I'm delighted that I'm going to be a father even though it's not how I wanted this to happen but I assure you all that I will do everything in my power to make Victoria and our unborn child very happy." David said.

"You'll do more even that, David. You will marry Victoria!" Charles exclaimed.

"Charles!" Elizabeth exclaimed, hitting the dining table which caused everyone to gasp in shock. "Now I understand you're upset and this is a lot to take in but you will not force marriage upon these two. Do you understand me?" Elizabeth asked.

"Yes, ma'am. May I be excused?" Charles answered.

"Please remove yourself if you cannot behave." Elizabeth said.

Charles got up and left the room. William and Harry were glaring at David as Catherine put a small smile on her face. Meghan cleared her throat and looked at Victoria.

"When are you due?" Meghan asked, smiling.

"Late Autumn, early Winter." Victoria answered.

"Do you have the nursery done? Where are you currently living?" Catherine asked.

"I'm currently staying at Windsor Castle. Granny had the nursery done just two days ago." Victoria answered.

"Now that the family knows. Victoria's pregnancy will be announced in the morning." Elizabeth said.

"Clarence House has also confirmed that the father of her unborn child is businessmen David Wellington, the third son of Jack Wellington, Duke of Wellington and Farrah Wellington, Duchess of Wellington."

"There has been no announcement yet on it the two are engaged."

"But congratulations to the couple." said the news anchor.
