- Third POV -

The next day, out and about in the FRENCH QUARTER, Freya is walking on the sidewalk, passing by some shops and storefronts, heading back home.

She then, spots Mathias across the street as she stopped walking. Freya becomes bewildered. She takes out her phone and dials her husband's, Mathias, phone number.

Meanwhile in Mathias's and Freya's room . . .

Mathias lays in bed underneath the burgundy bedcover, wearing a tank top and pajama pants. There are three picture frames on the nightstand.

The first picture frame is of Mathias's and Freya's wedding.

The second picture frame is of Mathias and Freya and then-baby Nikole.

And the third and final picture frame is of Mathias, Freya and Nikole smiles.

Mathias's phone buzzes on the nightstand. He stirs awake and sits up straight with the bedcover covering the lower half of his body.

He picks up his phone and looks at it.

It's Freya.

Mathias answers his phone. "Hey, Freya."

"Where are you right now, Mathias?" Freya asked her husband on the phone.

"I'm at home at the compound." Mathias told her. And then, he remembers what Klaus said about Nylora transforming her into anyone. "Freya? Is Nylora there?"

"Yeah, she's across the street from me. I'm looking at her." Freya said.

"Don't encounter her, just walk away and come back home." Mathias said.

"Alright, I'm on my way." Freya said, and hangs up her phone.

FRENCH QUARTER

Freya is on her way back home to the compound. And Nylora is right in front of her in her true form.

"Hello, Freya Mikaelson." Nylora greeted the eldest of the Mikaelson siblings.

"Nylora. How did you come back?" Freya asked.

"Isn't that the obvious question that's been on the minds of the Mikaelsons." Nylora said. "Give a message to the Mikaelsons, tell them that the Queen of Darkness is coming for them."

Freya and Nylora exchange tense looks at each other and Nylora walks away.

And then, Freya walks away, heading back home to the compound.

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

After arriving back at the compound, Freya walks into the courtyard and sees Thalia sitting on a sofa chair.

"Thalia?" Freya said.

"Hi to you, Freya." Thalia said and notices the frantic look on her face. "Are you alright? You look frantic about something?"

"I'm fine, I encountered Nylora in the French Quarter." Freya tells the thousand year old mage sorceress.

"Nylora? As in Nylora Le Roux? I thought she was dead." Thalia said.

"Apparently, somehow, she resurrected herself." Klaus said, slowly walks into the courtyard.

"Nylora told me to deliver a message." Freya said.

"What's the message?" Klaus asked.

"She said that the Queen of Darkness -- Nylora -- is coming for us." Freya tells them. "And she also transformed herself into Mathias. I had to call him to make sure it was him."

"Nylora is smart." Thalia said.

"Mathias and I have been working on a weapon to destroy Nylora." Freya said.

"Any progress?" Klaus asked.

"We're almost done with it." Freya tells him and walks away.

Klaus's phone buzzes in his pants pocket. He takes out his phone and looks at it.

It's Christy.

Klaus answers his phone. "Christy? Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, everything's fine. I did say I was gonna call you to check in." Christy said on the phone.

"Yeah, you did." Klaus said. "You don't know how much I missed you."

Christy chuckled on the phone. "I miss you too, Honey. And so, I just thought you wanted to hear my voice to ease your mood."

"Considered my mood eased." Klaus said.

"Okay, then, I gotta go. Love you." Christy said.

"Love you too." Klaus said and hangs up his phone.

Klaus looks at Thalia, who looks at him with a small smile on her face.

"What?" Klaus asked.

"Nothing much. But firstly, I'm glad that Christy is okay, and secondly, she makes you smile whenever her caller ID shows up on your phone screen." Thalia mentioned how Klaus perks up whenever Christy checks in on him. "She brightens your day."

Klaus small smiles to himself. "She does."

Klaus and Thalia exchange looks at each other. He sits down on the sofa chair.

"I also know that Zenith has done some bad things. But he has changed and bettered himself." Klaus said.

"Yeah, Zenny is a Vampiric Elder God. The Moor Realm he was stuck in, he drove him mad. I got him out and helped him the best way I could. He never talked about it, and I didn't mention it. He felt safe around me and he finally talked about it. And now, he looks at Zenith and I. We fell in love, married and have two kids. Like yourself, Klaus, you've done a lot of bad shit in your life, and yet, you found yourself falling in love with Christy." Thalia said.

"And look at us now, myself and Christy fell in love, married and have two daughters." Klaus said. "Christy, Luna and Trinity are the good part of me. If I ever disappoint Christy, I'll loathe myself."

"You don't want Christy to hate you?" Thalia asked. "Why is that?"

"If she ever does, I'll end up loathing myself." Klaus said. "And I can't stand the thought of her hating me."

"It's not in Christy to ever hate someone." Thalia said. "Yeah, she can be upset or pissed off at someone, but hating someone, it's not her."

"Yeah, Christy says that, but what if someday she does." Klaus said.

"Klaus? Thalia?" Freya said.

Klaus and Thalia looks up at Freya. Mathias and Freya shows them the athame that both created together.

"This athame took a while, but it can kill Nylora. We just need to trap her and destroy her again once and for all." Mathias said.

"Alright, then, all we need is a plan to trap her somewhere." Thalia said.

Klaus and Thalia exchange looks at each other.

HOME ISLAND OF MOUNT ORASANI -- MEDICAL INFIRMARY

That late afternoon, Christy sits on the examination table after Nurse Giannis has finished her checkup.

After listening to Christy's heartbeat with her stethoscope, Nurse Giannis puts her stethoscope back around her neck.

{Christy Outfit}

"You're done." Nurse Giannis said, taking off the blood pressure arm monitor from Christy's arm. "You're discharged."

"Thanks, Giannis." Christy said.

"You're welcome." Nurse Giannis said and walks back over to her computer desk and sits down at her desk. "I'm really glad you're okay, Christiana."

"Yeah, me too." Christy said.

Christy gently leaps off the examination table and stretches her arms and legs and walks away.

HOME ISLAND OF MOUNT ORASANI -- KITCHEN

That evening, Christy sits at the kitchen countertop, eating small spoonfuls of soft serve ice cream in a bowl.

Young adult Vek slowly walks into the kitchen. He and Christy exchange looks at each other.

"Vek?" Christy said.

"Hi, Christiana." Vek said and slowly walks up to the kitchen countertop. "How are you?"

"I'm okay." Christy reassured him with a small smile. "How are things with you and Bassea? What's been going on lately?"

"Well, the Orasanian Expo will be quite busy with political stuff." Vek said.

"I'll check it out." Christy said. "Bassea is at home with the kids?"

"She is. She's been worried about you. We both are." Vek said.

"Yeah, I know." Christy said. "Alright, then, Vek, you go ahead and get some sleep. You and Bassea are gonna be quite busy."

"Alright." Vek said, getting up and walks away. "Love you."

"Love you too, Vek." Christy said.

Vek walks away and Christy continues eating her ice cream.
